I would like this review to be 2 1/2 stars OK let's start with the bad first for this to be in such a nice part of the city like Sherman Oaks. The restaurant was not very nice there were boxes right in the main area I'm used to than maybe being in the bathroom which is not good or on the way to the bathroom but they were right in the area where everyone Hass to eat all stacked up against the wall. Not a good luck Just didn't look clean. I did not like the ambience at all. I had a slight smell that I did not like at all and this was my first time. Trying some thing called PHO. I am very big on service. We were clearly done eating and wanted to our stuff to be packed up to go. No one ever came and cleared away our dirty dishes or asked us where we've done and it was so clear so since the foods that there's so long at the end, we elected not to take it with us. . no one ever asked us one time. Are we good? Do we need any more water not once. OK the good part is the food was pretty tasty. I had dumplings with pork in it with some sauce that was very tasty. I also had some shrimp wrapped in this clear, white paper. It was cold. I wasn't expecting that but the sauce that came with it was good and my bowl of PHO was very hot and had a good flavor not salty like I would've thought and lots of green onions which I really love because they add flavor. Also there's lots of free parking , but if you're looking for a good food and ambience, I wouldn't go to this place ambience two thumbs down service, two thumbs down taste of food to thumbs up. I don't know if they had an alcohol license because we didn't ask for a drink so as far as price you're not drinking the alcohol I think we paid $45 which was not bad for two people. read more

Decent place overall but I haven't quite found a dish that stood out. I went here with friends on a rainy day and we all ordered pho (beef and meatball pho) because it was soup weather! It hit the spot, I loved the broth and finished my entire bowl satisfied. What I appreciate about the place was the service; the waitresses were really nice and checked on us often. When we first arrived, there weren't anymore tables to sit, but we only waited 5 minutes because they were good about cleaning the newly vacant table quickly. Price to quality ratio was just okay: for a decent but not "OMG SOOO AMAZING" bowl of pho, they charge $14-$16. It's a good size however. They offer more dishes, like other noodles, fried rice, coconut curry (which was interesting) and meat/rice plates for about the same price if not more. I've had better pho, but since this place is just a few blocks away from home, we keep coming back for the convenience if we want pho but don't want to drive too far or worry about parking. Let's Pho is usually my winter time go-to Pho place. It's located in a small strip mall but usually has a few parking spaces available. It's right off the freeway so very easily accessible. I always grab some pho but the coconut soup is always great for cold weather. You can't go wrong with the fried rice either. They have some great fries as well, though I only recommend ordering them if you are dining in because they get cold and soft super quick when taking them out. I'm not sure if overall quality is slipping or if I had two unlucky batches but the beef pho lately has come with the toughest, chewiest meat. Because of that, I'd recommend going for the chicken option. read more

I was in the Sherman Oaks area and craving pho takeout. I ordered from Let's Pho as it was the closest option. I pride myself on trying pho spots all over the valley and the pho ga here was unfortunately my least favorite. The chicken was pretty dry and the broth was much saltier than I'm used too. The noodles were packed separately which is normal for pho takeout, but the noodles were clumped in a ball and didn't separate easily in the broth as they were really firm. To top it off, the basil that came with the pho was wet and soggy in the bag with the bean sprouts. The star of the meal was the fresh tofu/shrimp rolls. However, the rice paper they were wrapped in was super thin and was ripped when I opened them. Ordering online was easy and there is a lot for parking. I do like the decor on the inside of the restaurant and of course the name makes me giggle! Wouldn't be my first choice next time I'm craving pho but it is convenient if you are in the Sherman oaks area. read more

(No red chili garlic oil, sugar, salt, black pepper, fish sauce, hoisen sauce) Ordered 3 combo noodles, 2 dry noodles, one pad thai. The pho broth was kinda bitter. If you're the type that pours soy sauce on white rice, than this is the place for you. My boyfriend suggested this place (but he's from Missouri), and he said the pho was good. I didn't try it so this is not based on their pho. We ordered the spring rolls and I ordered a pork bún and asked for no onions. Waitress asked if the fried onion bits were also no good. I didn't even think there would be fried onion bits. So I told her not even that. Spring rolls sauce came with fried onion bits on top. Not a problem. I asked for one without. I think the sauce was just hoisin sauce. It was too strong and I was hoping for the usual peanut sauce. That, I had an issue with. There's already a bottle of hoisin sauce on the table. I don't need another one in a plastic container. Then my bún came. The pork was drenched in the hoisin sauce and there were huge chunks of onions in the bowl. I reminded the waitress that I said no onions. (I love onions but they hate me). They took it back and brought my food back fairly quickly. I dabbed off as much sauce as I could. The noodles were too soft and after I took a few bites, I saw that there were still large chunks of onions inside the bowl. I had to stop eating and sent my food back. Two stars because my boyfriend said his pho was good. The initial waitress did ask if onions in the sauce are bad. Technically yes, but in small doses, it should be ok. I should've gone the extra miles to Pho 999. My go-to's are usually Pho 999, Golden Deli and Quan Hy. read more

Why this place gets four stars is absolutely baffling. We paid $160 for four entrées, four spring rolls, soup, and a bahn mi -- and all of it was mostly terrible. The Bahn Mi was shockingly not on a French roll (it was basically a poppyseed sausage-style bun) and the pork belly, although well-cooked, was in an unappealingly sweet and sticky sauce. The Singapore noodles were definitely not Singapore noodles, bland and overly sauced. The highly-touted Kuay Tiaw Khua Kai was a very bland flat noodle with dry chicken. The spring rolls were bland and filled with mostly lettuce. The Basil Squid was fine. The Crab Fried Rice was fine. The Pho was passable. I just don't understand the ratings at all. I wasn't looking for fine cuisine, but none of this was worth HALF these prices. There is FAR better takeout nearby. read more

I feel like we really wasted our money here. We got the beef pho and an order of fresh spring roll and both were kind of bad.. The broth is bland (my Korean mother makes it A LOT better), the portion was a bit disappointing, and the spring roll wasn't good at all either. The spring rolls my friend and I have made before taste a lot better, really. No offense, but anyone that says this is a good place: I don't think they know pho, honestly... The foods were on the expensive side too, so not very budget friendly. Also, the place is very...weird. it's a PHO place, which means Vietnamese, but their menu includes some Thai food and the decorations are all over the world, from Vietnam, China, to Costa Rica?? Usually, a place with menu of multiple culture is not a good place and If I had known this before we went, we probably wouldn't have gone. The service was nice tho. The server was friendly and the cook that brought us our order of extra noodles, which was a lot, was nice, but that's about it. They're also located right next to a liquor store at the corner of the plaza if you're in need or anything quick. We walked in around 7pm and it was empty. I love that they have fruits In their water and it makes it taste so much more refreshing! Plus they're super attentive to refill it when it gets low. 1. French fries- these were just average. It sounded great in the description with rosemary and such but it was just normal plain fries. Their dipping sauce was good though. 2. Bangkok wonton noodle soup- I ordered this one! Wish there was more noodles but overall it was delicious! Love their broth and that it wasn't too oily. I thought it was great that it had bok Choy in it. 3. Pork over rice - this one wasn't bad but it was basically fried pork fat over rice so it was not very nice to eat much of. 4. Bbq pork pho - the hubs got this one. He was hoping it was Vietnamese bbq pork but it was Chinese bbq pork so he was a little disappointed. Broth was great though. Overall love that there's so many different options to choose from, especially from it being a Vietnamese and Thai combined restaurant. I wanted a nice, spicy, hot bowl of pho and this place delivered that. I got the spicy noodle pho with chicken. I do think the chicken could have been seasoned; it was a little bland. But the broth was beautiful and clear until I added plum sauce. I wish the waitress had dressed more professionally. Sweats are not a good look in a restaurant. The place could use a bit of a facelift. The floor has lots of pits in it which looks bad. I think it's clean, but there's a lot of clutter against the walls. To use the bathroom, you have to go to the connected grocery store, which is a little awkward. There's only one bathroom, and it's not clean, so that was off putting. read more

VEGAN-FRIENDLY. If you are vegan, this place not only has delicious options but also great prices. I ordered the Vegetarian Pho and Pad-Sw-Eu with tofu (no egg) on a delivery app. The food was packaged well, but I could see how the pho packaging could be an issue if you don't have big bowls at home. You would just need to dump the noodles (which were kind of stuck to the paper container) into the plastic container of soup. Let's Pho's Pad-Sw-Eu is probably my second favorite of all time. You can really smell the smokiness and sweetness. The fried tofu was amazing. The pho was also impressive and came with firm tofu (wish it was fried!). Broth tastes like it had been simmering for hours with perfect hints of sweetness and charred aromatics. All the veggies, which included green beans, cabbage, broccoli, carrot, and cauliflower, were also perfectly cooked. I consider Let's Pho a local staple for great Vietnamese/Thai fare and will be ordering again! All those Pho soup stores, always use thin plastic containers for their hot soup, so if you take out, because the shaking of driving. The hot air expand push the seal plastic lid open and spill all over. They should use soup container like grocery stores does for soup so hot air can vent out.
