I came here once after it first opened and thought it was a nice new addition to Redmond. I went back a month ago and left with my skin crawling. The nail tech had a horrible cold and was visibly sick with her eyes watering, sniffling, and coughing throughout the appointment. I tried not to be rude since I know people have to work, but this is just unacceptable in these Covid days. The tech sanded down my previous gel instead of soaking them and my nails are still so brittle and split and break constantly (which is not normal for me). I took off my toe polish and now have a fantastic new case of toenail fungus. This is a real, non exaggerated review. I would post photos, but don't want to gross you out. Steer clear. This place needs a visit from the health department. read more

Making the appointment via yelp was easy. But I had to wait about 30 mins before they took me in. The pedicure wasn't great quality either, the lady was very nice however went too deep into the cuticles that it hurt a few days. Won't go back. read more

My nails were very cute. I got a fill in this Sunday, however the lady shaved them down so much the they are very thin. Monday the first one broke while I was changing. I went back Tuesday to have them fix it and the nail (after me asking for him to make it thinner) is extremely thick and wide and doesn't match the other nails in shape at all. Today, Wednesday, I looked down to realize another nail was missing. The fill itself was done very poorly and they charged me more then originally agreed. I usually go to the Bellevue location but they were full on Sunday. Won't be returning to the Redmond location. read more

I've been back a few times since my initial review, and I do have to say I think I just caught them on a bad day, causing my less than great experience. Every visit since has been quick, service is always friendly and accurate, and you really can't beat the atmosphere/setting. Extremely disappointed with the service. This was my first visit to a nail salon ever and I opted for a shellac manicure. They cut the cuticles too close to the skin that one of my fingers started bleeding. They gave a $10 gift card for that (as if that'd help!). The nails were pretty but the next day, the skin just below the cuticles started peeling off horribly on all of my fingers. It was really embarassing that I had to hide my fingers in public. I believe it was a reaction to the chemicals they soaked my fingers in. I also got my arms waxed which was another disaster. The wax fell on my dress a couple of times and cleaning it caused yet another mess. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I will not recommend this place. read more

I came here after work last night to get my nails done (dip manicure) and my session ended up running about 20 minutes after the store was supposed to close. This wasn't the first time I've been to the Redmond location. The first times were semi-okay, no complaints but no praises either. This will be the LAST time I go here. I called to make an appointment to remove my dip and do a regular manicure. On the phone the lady told me that the manicure would be $32 and the dip would be $35 so I should just do that.... So I did. Worst mistake. The guy who does the dip manicures is rude. I had so many cotton hairs on my fingers and he wouldn't let me wash my hands, just used his old raggedy brush to wipe it away. I wanted French Tip dip powder. The powder, not the white nail polish. I told him this and he told me no, this was better. I told him I didn't want to pay extra for painter white nail tips. I didn't even get the option to change to a color and was charged more than what I was told. They charged me $40 for the clear dip powder that looks crusty with all these bubbles and cotton hairs. He didn't even put oil on my hands, just left and went to the extent customer. And the worst part is that they weren't even that busy! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I will never return to this nail salon. I have been going here for years and always had good service. This past six months I've had more bad pedicures than good. One week ago I had a pedicure and the girl so aggressively scrubbed at the side of my toe with the pumice that she rubbed a hole in my toe and left it bloody. I had been complaining that it hurt and suddenly when she noticed the blood, she apologized and put some steptic on it. My cuticles look like they were picked at with dull clippers and the polish is very uneven, thick in some places and thin in others, not a smooth edge near the cuticle at all. I called today to have someone remove my polish and redo it. I went in at 2:15 and the front desk went and talked to almost every employee as everyone turned around and looked at me and talked about me. They made me wait for 10 minutes and then the girl who damaged my toe a week ago, came over and said she was going to fix my polish. I said absolutely not. Why would I want you to do that again? So I went to the front desk and they explained that she is the one who did my pedicure so she is the one that will fix it so I told them how ridiculous that was and walked out. read more

Rude. Have no respect for their customers. It's not right to speak Vietnamese by themselves non-stop, making the customer feel uncomfortable. As well as when I want more time to pick a color or style for my nails, they look irritated. Seriously, they have no manners or a common sense of how they should treat their customers. Also, they demand to receive the tip money by cash as if they truly deserve it. It's up to the customer to pay by cash or card. This location is closer to my house than their (main) sister store so I decided to give it a try. Not a fan. First time I went, lady was rude, telling me how she was the expert so she knows best. She is the nail expert, but doesn't take an expert to know what a crooked nail looks like. I brought some friends for a mani-pedi the second time since I like to give places a few tries before I finalize my decision. For one, the nail technician only did one coat because it was a darker color, and it chipped off within a few hours. For another, more than half her nails were crooked. And for me, the lady only parted 2/3 of the nail, in fear of painting the side of my skin, so it looked like a very poor job. Side Note: Read the owner's reply for a previous review below. Am concerned about how the cameras would know exactly who a person is on yelp when they don't take names for walk-ins. read more

So glad I didn't let the negative reviews keep me from trying this new salon. Beautiful modern interior - very clean. Individual liners used for every client for pedicures. Lotions, salves, and exfoliators all brought out in individual dishes per client (reduces contamination). Tools cleaned in autoclave. Ammmmmaaaazing selection of dip powder colors, glitters, etc. Mina is a perfectionist. My dip manicure and pedicure are beautiful. Even, uniform, no potholes, they didn't hurt my cuticles (very gentle but efficient) - I want to try some nail art next and will update when I do. read more

Dear fellow black people please avoid this racist establishment!!! My fiancé went here today and was treated like less then dirt. Didn't greet. Didn't start nails until 25-30 mins AFTER my appointment. Was given no reasoning on anything. No "hello how are you" like all the other patrons I saw who weren't black come in and get right away with no problem. In the middle of doing then just got up and started to do someone else's nails then came back and finished even though I was already close to done. It's ironic how people come to America and treat black Americans in this fashion. This is unacceptable and I will NEVER be returning. I advice any person of color to do the same don't spend your money with people who don't respect you. Rudest most disrespectful place I've ever paid for a service. Also I was ditched by my original nail stylists for "another customer" and had to wait around for some young girl to do the service. UPDATE: I was replied to and called "sensitive"....wow....At a time like this in OUR country where the mistreatment of African Americans is at the forefront and racial tension is abundant. Also this individual lied it was 20 minutes and I was treated VERY DIFFERENTLY then any other customer I saw. And NO OTHER CUSTOMER that came in behind me had to wait nor did they have someone sit down not greet or talk to them at all and just start doing their nails. I like my nails done there and they do a good job. However they get upset when you can't give cash as tip even when I do tip on credit card. I had a service yesterday were my total was $65 + $10 tip and my bank shows that they put down $15 tip. It's a shame since I love the place but I am worried I will have to keep checking my bank if I decide to leave a tip on card as they do not provide a receipt where you can write a tip anymore. *also called me after they saw my review and tried to say they changed the pricing a few weeks ago even though I get the exact same thing everything and basically blamed me for not knowing when they told me verbally $65 yesterday. I've been coming here lately as their Bellevue location is further away from me. The services are good, updates interiors, and nice spa chairs (the older location has beat up and worn out chairs). The only thing that needs work is the customer service. Some technicians are lovely but some are blunt, abrasive, and unfriendly - especially when dealing with walk-ins when it's busy.
