I tried the lobster balls (nice chunks of lobster with little breading and seasoned well), fries ( seasoned well and crisp) , and an apple slush with boba. The good thing is that they have drinks and food. Most drinks are good, if you don't like your drinks sugary just adjust your sweetness. The employees are on point with customer service but the manager/owner seem a little off edge. As I told them to remake my fries since it was burnt af. I'll show y'all some proof. Seating is decent with a good amount of outdoor seating as well. Service can be a little curt but overall not bad. Super unsatisfied with this place. Came in on a Thursday evening with my boyfriend, around 8:15 pm. The very first words exchanged with the cashier were, "I know I want the garlic fries and the popcorn chicken" and then I turned to my boyfriend and asked what he wanted. He then proceeded to add the minced pork and rice bowl and the honey wings. Popcorn chicken = $4.49 Garlic fries = $3.99 Minced pork = $5.99 Honey wings = $5.49 The first order came to $20.14, which is a totally fair price, but the key word is first. The cashier/waitress called our number and my boyfriend went to grab the food and brought back everything except the fries. Now, they don't do itemized receipts for some reason, and they take your receipt from you when you grab your food from the counter. Long story short, they claimed that we did not actually order the garlic fries and that the initial payment of $20.14 did not include the price of the fries. And then went on to say it didn't process or something? So all 3 of the other items processed, aside from one? They messed up and chose not to admit their mistake, and then, because I really wanted to try the fries, we then choose to get charged another $4.37. So, if the fries were 3.99 and the total came to $4.37, that is .38 cents for tax. Just didn't add up. The food was pretty mediocre, the fries weren't worth the wait. Wings were really tasty and I liked the breading. Popcorn chicken was pretty okay, but the pieces were all different sizes and the tiny pieces were just breading and I did not like that breading as much. The pork came on a pile of rice with yoshionya style "veggies", which was really just a couple pieces of cabbage and a few sliced carrots. Newly opened so I had to try it out! I ordered their Potted Plant Milk tea and it was good! Not too sweet and the boba was cooked well. I also tried their popcorn chicken, fried tofu, and minced pork belly with rice. The popcorn chicken was good. The fried tofu was too soft for me, I prefer it to be a little crunchier. The minced pork belly with rice came in a bowl, I wish they put more minced pork belly and vegetables and decrease the amount of rice. The whole look of the store was pleasing to the eyes. The lady that helped me was able to give me her recommendations which I was glad about. What I did not like is that most of the tables inside were dirty when I got there. I live in the area and having a tea house right by your house is so addicting because it's hard not to get a milk tea on nice sunny/cloudy days. I love love love the Okinawa Milk tea the most! Winter melon is on the sweet side and the plotted plant is also tasty! Thai teas are so ordinary nowadays so you're more bound to try any other tea that's on their menu! Tonight, I called in a phone order and I understand they're busy, but after taking my order the girl on the phone asked if I could wait 10 minutes while she took other orders before mine. My go to order is the wintermelon tea or wintermelon milk tea with boba and 30% sweetness. My fams go to is the honey peach tea with lychee and sea salt cream. Their sea salt cream is one of my favorites, the flavor is just right! My husbands go to is the Kyoto matcha and he cannot get enough of it! But my favorite on the menu is their popcorn chicken!!
