Super fun crowd, great vibes, friendly and welcoming staff. There was a Bachelorette party when we were there and everyone was having a good time. Excellent drinks- we had a White Linen and Paseo Rose (They also have bottle service). We had sliders and tacos that were really good too. DJ was playing great music all night. Without asking, when bringing me my martini, Miranda made a virgin mocktail of a Moscow mule in the tin cup so she wouldn't feel left out. I came here on the first night of my bachelorette party in Palm Desert. The bar itself is pretty nice and I love the chandeliers that are located throughout. This place is very long and not very wide so it may feel a little funky when you walk in. There's some street parking along the front and additional parking in the back lots as well. While the DJ was super sweet and announced me/celebrated me multiple times throughout the night, I felt like the overall vibe of the bar itself was just okay. There's only one restroom in the whole thing, which can cause a backup sometime in the night. The servers were attentive and friendly and if you're having trouble up in the bar, there's also a back room as well where you can properly order, sit, or dance. Drinks were on the weaker side, which is fine if you're going to be going to different places during the night but make sure to ask for it to be a little stronger if you're looking to party it up. read more

The location is at the edge of El Paseo. It's a nice place but I was confused of what type of atmosphere Libation Room is trying to create. The music played when I was there was all over the place. I should there was a solid theme. When I went they barley just got their menu. The drinks had cute names. I didn't what to order so I asked the bartender to create a pretty drink. I drink anything. So she replied, "all our drinks are pretty." Sad to say, the drink she created was not very pretty. Rather plain but it tastes fine. I asked for a whiskey sour and it didn't taste very good. I had to ask another bartender to add simple syrup for me to enjoy the drink. I was quite confused with the place but the decorations were beautiful. read more

This is exactly what we needed. Every time I'm there I have a great time. The dj's are amazing as well as the sound system. The atmosphere is upscale but remains cozy and welcoming. This is definitely my go to spot. It's unfortunate that some people are jealous of Barry's success and are trying to slander. My mother always said misery loves company. I look forward to re doing this review as soon as the Libation Room figures out what they are. The potential is amazing and I look forward to the direction this place will head. We visited on a thursday and it was not super busy but they had a nice vibe going. The staff seemed pretty friendly and the place has some cute bones, but they really need to decide on what they are. The big screen tv's with football on and the neon digital "jukebox" music player, bright lights and small booze selection detracted from the overall experience, but the drinks were decent, the prices were right and we enjoyed our interactions with the staff. We ran into a friend and had a drink with him, but we did head out to hear live music at another bar for our second drink. Once they cut down on the room lights, get rid or turn off the tv's and find some way to dim the wine/beer fridges this place will become the type of place where we would stay for a second drink. This bar was fabulous when first opened. Ownership changed and it lost all its charm. Sad as once it was great place to go. One of the local favorites. Sadly, it went from the most posh, fun atmosphere to low class, bad service, rude employees, and if you want a drink, hope you don't mind waiting 30+++ minutes or more! Excellent drinks from Ceasor, which nails the mixology of drinks. We were looking for a quiet drink so a little hesitant to go in but really glad that we did. Worst absolute bar in the desert! I have never had to wait so long for a drink ever! Not only that but they are overpriced, seemingly trying to look posh but complete disaster! I rarely give a bad review but I've never had such rude service, and unless you don't mind spending $16 for a small, watered down martini that takes 40 minutes to get, or that you have to stand the entire time while the bartenders ignore you, then enjoy the catastrophe of a nightmare this place is. This place once was actually decent until ownership apparently changed. Oh not to mention, the new owners frequently like to hit on in such vile ways! I'd like to start off by saying that Ian the bouncer is phenomenal and the owner was professional according to my friend who set it up. I was there for a bachelorette party last night. There was no room and some of the people who were in there were extremely rude. The setup is a fire hazard in itself. There were even a few middle aged and older men who I told to back up multiple times before they listened aftet trying to grope me. Additionally actually getting to a security guard was near impossible. The service was okay and the drinks were good but I wouldn't recommend this place based on some of the people who were let in. This experience was the same for multiple people in the bachelorette party. Again our experience was completely shattered because people were let in who seemed entitled, rude, and inappropriate. read more
