My son had heard about this place and since we were downtown we decided to try it out. When I entered I got a carefree, welcoming, and non-judging vibe. It is small with a tall ceiling and caged up windows giving it a Berkeley feel to it. The only negative is that it was a little warm in there. Now on to the food. Decided to try this place since it's my area of employment. I became aware of it due to an ad on FB. Decided on their BIG A** Burger limited menu item. Order was to go, the burger was $20 +tax as I got a glimpse when I was being rang up. When i was about to sign, I seen my total was $25 & some change. Oh my Lanta I just ordered lunch from here for the first time and it was soooo gooood. I saw they had a special burger this week and I had to order it. I was not disappointed. It had 1/4 beef patty, balsamic arugula, grilled peaches, bacon, habanero pepper jack cheese and the house mustard. All with a side of tots. It was delicious. I loved the combination of toppings on this burger. And the tots came with a really tasty chutney for a dipping sauce. So delicious. Libélula is a wonderful hidden gem in downtown Fresno! The inside of the restaurant was very fun and open- along with a side shop that sales baked goodies. My hubby and I wanted to try a new place for our New Year wedding anniversary, and so we chose Libélula to start our day with (breakfast/brunch). We decided to try three items on the menu to share- we got the Mac N Cheese(kimchi on top), Biscuits N Gravy (with two eggs & bacon), and the Sriracha Sandwich (comes with tots). The food was deliciously surprising! My favorite so far (out of the three items) is the Sriracha sandwich because the sweet undertone to the sauce was really good and different. The Mac N Cheese was good too- however, I recommend getting extra kimchi on the side! The Mac with kimchi on your fork/spoon really picks up the cheesy flavor you may miss. Last but definitely not least- the Biscuits N Gravy. Hubby states they were the best he ever had! Really delicious and definitely recommend adding an egg and bacon or sausage on the side to complete your breakfast. Great spot! read more

I don't ever eat tater tots, but they are surprisingly good here, very crispy. Restaurant is located inside the same building as crest theater. The habanero sauce is awesome. Found this place as I was scrolling through Yelp. Decided to drive to downtown Fresno to check it out. I couldn't find the place at first but then drove around and ended up finding it. I'd recommend parking on the sides as parking can be limited depending on the time and day, you will need quarters to feed the meters. Food Review: To be completely honest, I would have to rate the food as mediocre. Presentation of the food looks amazing, but the taste? Not so much. I ended up ordering the Fig Toast, Sriracha Maple Chicken Sandwich & Tater Tots, and Thai Mac 'n Cheese. The Fig Toast was quite tasty. The merlot salted ricotta smear was pretty tasteful and was exceptionally fresh as the figs added a nice fresh crunch. The Maple Chicken Sandwich was ok. Lots of oil and the maple was quite light so I couldn't really taste the sweetness of it. The spice from the sriracha was there as I had a heartburn afterwards. I was really looking forward to the Thai Mac n Cheese, however, I was pretty disappointed with this dish. I would recommend for a source of protein to be added because the curry and kimchi didn't compliment each other very well in this dish. Big A** Cinnamon Rolls are where it's at! That and almost all of their other food. Thai Mac and Cheese, Cajun Cristo. They are all delicious. Their menu changes every so often based on availability. That's one of the great things about it. This is a local small business, with a unique seating area and interesting decor and their menu matches that. We go during weekday lunch hours with a large group of co-workers and the only downside to this place is that service for a group of 8+ when other customers are in there can be a little slow. I haven't a bad thing to say about this quaint little spot. The atmosphere is welcoming and visually intriguing. And the food is even better. I haven't had this scrumptious of a meal in a long time. Hidden gem!!! Let's start with I have now been here 2x in a row!! I first came for lunch and all dishes were amazing. We tried the Thai Mac n cheese, Chicken Strawberry Salad and the famous Big A$$ Macaron!! The flavor of the day was espresso salted caramel OMG!! Sooooo good and they are not kidding when it comes to the name. It is huge but soooo good, you'll want more!! The owner, staff, and chef were so friendly and kind!! They made sure we were well taken care of and that everything tasted great. Less than 24 hours later; I was back for another Big A$$ Macaron!! The flavor of the day was Cereal with lucky charms and WOW!! So good!! I learned that the 17 year old daughter made the macarons and that is impressive!!!!!!
