Stopped by to give this a try. There's a shared parking lot in the business strip they are located in. Parking maybe a bit tight since the parking lot is small. Walked in and you can smell the yumminess of roasted meat. There was a young gal who helped us and was trying to explain how to order as it was our first time there. As the young gal helped us, an more older gal came out and was making remarks as to why it's taking us a long time and was rude. I have been coming here for the past few years for their roasted meats. Lien Hoa is the best in town hence they have been around for nearly 40 years. My family usually comes here to order the meats for any family gathering or holidays. There are so many of these delis around the Little Saigon area. This location is my favorite eventhough you'll have to struggle for parking in their tiny lot. They have plenty of ready made items: roasted duck, peking duck, roasted pork belly, soy sauce chicken, salted chicken, bbq pork and other parts of the pig. You can also pre-order a whole roasted pig for a wedding, engagement or other special occasions. Lien Hoa makes the most delicious roasted pig. The skin is so crispy and the meat is not too fatty. I have tried the Vit Quay Roasted Duck which is so tender and flavorful. The salted chicken is another good item. This is a long overdue review of a staple food during numerous SoCal sojourns. Lien Hoa BBQ Deli is a pretty simple shop that focuses on roasting meat, and they do it right. It's hard to remember a trip to Little Saigon when my uncle and aunt haven't ordered trays from here because they're so delicious and consistent. I've only been here myself once every few years, so I took today's visit as the best opportunity to write a review. Lien Hoa is located in a small strip mall on Bolsa between Bushard and Magnolia. You can see Pho Lovers at the corner, but not much else of interest food-wise. Don't go to Seafood Cove or the Asian Garden Mall or else you've either gone too far or not far enough. You may have to line up. You can view the beautiful roast meats as well as various organ meats and other items prepared in a buffet-esque line, but you'll simply be waiting until you get to the register to place your order. There are packaged rice noodles and other carbs if you need them, but I've found myself devouring the meats on their own (or with sauces). Roast pork ($8.50/lb): crispy skin and delicious porky pork. That sounds redundant, but you'll know that you're eating pig. Mostly likely cheaper than you'll find elsewhere too. Works fine without sauce, which is great because either they forgot to include sauce or we forgot to remind them about it. Roast duck ($18 for whole duck): super delicious, juicy duck. Full complement of Chinese five spice. This kind of duck has probably ruined every other duck which I'll ever have, and Lien Hoa's rendition is reliably rad. Doesn't need a sauce really. Steamed Salt Chicken ($3.50/lb): not something which I've had as often as the others, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and tender the chicken was. Just think "Hainanese Chicken in bulk" and add your own rice if you really need to. I'll definitely continue to enjoy Lien Hoa's fine meats as long as I come to this city. Don't visit if you're expecting a sit-down restaurant experience, but do find the occasion to devour a party platter. read more

I came here a few times only this location never been to another location before I live far away got my order mix up with another customer no gloves with everyone work there. Their nails is dirty (not too judge anyone) but gonna wear gloves when you working with foods special you touching the duck, chicken... Came upon this place looking for Cantonese roast meats. First look said "not good". The ducks looked skinny, the soy sauce chicken looked pale, roast pork 燒肉 looked aged. I know I made a big mistake when I walked into this place and didn't see the sign that says "Cash only", there was only one sign on a post, no sign on the display glass or anywhere outside like in the pictures on Yelp or I may have missed it. I ordered half a duck and it was $14 then I saw the sign "Cash only", so I asked them where I can find an ATM cause I didn't have enough cash, they seemed mad and pointed to somewhere with no clear direction and complained with 2 other staff. I apologize and told them I didn't see the sign and I had no time to go to an Atm if they can't tell me clearly, I really had to go to an appointment so I asked them can I buy half of it and pay $8. They said NO, OK then I could not do anything but walked out, they were mad and said they already cut the duck, who will buy it? I told them I was so sorry but they were still complaining in Vietnamese and harassed me in English that we don't need your money and don't come back again. I didn't ask them for free food but they treated me poorly. I am sorry to say that they were the rudest people I've ever seen and I am normally a very patient and easygoing person especially when I am a customer. It was the worst experience I've ever had. First of all, we all know why many places take cash only, secondly, these people think they can do business in whatever way they want because they still have customers but I'll never go back and I'll tell everybody I know that DO NOT go to this place, I know they don't care but at least treat yourself with something better, this isn't the only BBQ place in Westminster. I got their noodles as well to eat with the roasted pork. They have 3 locations and this location i go to often. The service was alright and friendly. They have a variety of options of food.
