Like it a lot. Great location. Growing area. I have some knowledge of the owners background. From what I understand they're pretty good folks. Look forward to spending more time there. So here goes. This place is just another in a long list of the few folks in Bend who seemingly own and operate a vast majority of pubs/restaurants in this town. This one goes right along with the other place these people are involved in. It's not good. Surprise! They opened another spot and it's not good either. First off, the 'pint glasses'. These should be outlawed. Most places that care would have nothing to do with these. You've seen them. Very thick. Grossly thick and beveled bottom. They call them 'cheater pints'. They are a middle finger to your customers. $7. Betting you get about 11.5 oz. of beer. Further, the beer list is right out of the Good Life/Deschutes/Boneyard playbook. Do better. Get creative. It's possible to order good beer from distributors you can't just walk across town and get. The food. Tried it twice. Same both times. All I tasted for 18 hours was raw onion. The fried chicken piece in the sandwich was rubbery and so small it disappeared in the bun. No prices on their menu online, should be a red flag.....can't recall what this one cost....but $19 as I recall. Positive? The dude serving us was awesome. Second star is for you, man. This place is just another tourist rip off and a place you should avoid if you're a local. Bend has an issue. The pub/restaurant biz in this town gets away with crap they would never get away with if it wasn't a tourist town starving for more food options. Food was great, service was a complete joke. Sat in the bar area, bartender took our order promptly then we became invisible. Had to go to the bar to get take home boxes. At that point anyone with 2 firing brain cells would know we're done. Nope, had to walk up and hand him my card after waiting another 5 minutes. Daughter ordered desert to go when we paid. Went up to the bartender after waiting 15 more minutes, asked about it and got the blank stare from the guy; "wtf where's the desert order?" "Oh yea". Gawd dam what a clown show. It was looking like we'd found a new spot till that clown ruined the whole experience. I counted 10 people in the bar including the 3 of us, and 2 bartenders at one point. Not like it was overwhelming, Red Robin can even do better than that. read more

We started to go there when they first opened. It's a bar and the advertised late night dining. The food was good, we went back a few times, then came in one night at 9 and they announced the kitchen was closed. We turned around, left, and didn't come back. Who needs a bar that closes at 9 on Saturday night? read more

Tried yet again and was greeted with watered down drinks, and overcooked food. For the 2nd time. The only benefit to this place is the volleyball and the rooftop area which was definitely an afterthought because of how lame it is. Pray there's no wind. read more

Great atmosphere, well staffed with good service and solid pub grub. Fantastic outside space with multiple fire pits and sweet roof space with tables to enjoy a drink at sunset. Cornhole and a reservable sand volleyball court to top off the outdoor experience here and doors that raise or lower around the inside depending on the weather. Nice selection of food and drinks too. Recommend this new spot for a view of Mt Bachelor and good times all around! read more

The food is pretty good, not sure if management just doesn't staff properly or if they're low on staff members, but last night we went here for a drink after a long day, sat at the bar, clearly not looking for the most fancy dining experience, but nonetheless, the bartenders (2 of them) ignored us almost the entire time. We sat with empty beers and food boxed up for over 20 minutes before they even asked us if we wanted another round, not to mention the check to leave? Then when we finally get the check, $66 I decide that, as someone who works in the service industry myself, the tip deserved was nothing but I'm not that kind of person so I opted to tip $5. Yes, not the best tip, but also terrible service so, checks out. Today I go to check my bank statement, THEY TIPPED THEMSELVES extra on my card! This is HORRENDOUS customer service followed by sneaky and greedy business practice. If it wasn't such a stupid amount of money I would probably call them and demand a refund. Like the vibe and I think the service has improved some from the early days. That said, the prices are ridiculous. Brussel Sprouts side for $17? Tater Tots for $15? My bad as the menu is on line (one without prices) but it is pub fare and atmosphere with white tablecloth prices. read more

Cool place, very representational of the new Bend. Staff has a high energy hip hop vibe. Indoors is kinda loud but in a good way. Very nice outdoor dining and play space. Rooftop is stellar.Excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices. Interesting mix of college kids, outdoor junkies and Broken Top/NWX locals. Everyone is ridiculously tan. Didn't see many tourists on a Monday evening. Won't appeal to everyone, not your $2 PBR hangout. It will be interesting to see how this place develops with all the adjacent growth. read more
