Nice little place. Chairs aren't very comfortable, but everything is clean and new and the staff is very friendly. However, the wait time was more than 30 minutes from the time we ordered. Stopped by for breakfast this morning and had a great experience! The California Omelette with extra crispy hashbrowns and rye toast was excellent, the coffee was good, hot, and refilled quickly, and the atmosphere was every bit the chic-beachy casual vibe that I had hoped they would implement when they recently remodeled this local gem. The staff were friendly, attentive, and on-point with their service. Grab a seat next to the roll-up windows, sit back, and watch the neighborhood go by. This is sure to be even more a neighborhood favorite now that they've updated the interior and opened it up to take advantage of the amazing So Cal weather. I stopped by for a burger while in the area and was not disappointed! They are huge and very flavorful and the staff was kind and welcoming. I enjoyed the outdoor seating and ambiance of the neighborhood. I had a salad with Blue Cheese and the dressing was AMAZING, which the menu says all their dressings are homemade; it was delicious! The prices were a bit high but I have to say the quality matched the price, so I was not upset. I recommend the bacon cheeseburger; thick pieces of bacon and huge burger! read more

We eat here all the time and have for many years since we live up the street. We recently went and were waited on by Lauren. She is always so friendly and efficient-we always feel welcome and appreciated. I gave four out of five because I wish there were more vegan options on the menu. read more

When you see a small town cafe, you assume that as a local place, they must have quality and or tasty food. Neither is the case with the Lighthouse Cafe. I only ordered the lemonade, which was good. My husband ordered the diced ham omelette with a side of roasted potatoes and a biscuit. He did not like the omelette. The biscuit was stale. The potatoes were not fully cooked or well seasoned. The service was very good. The young lady was sweet and engaging. Oh and the biggest travesty is that they do not serve pastries!!! You read that right. This cafe has decided not to offer sweet treats with their coffee. I hope the cafe decides to make the changes Bc the decor and location is great. read more

The potato pancakes were cold mashed potatoes. The bacon had a funny flavor and it was half cooked. Toast came out cold so the butter didn't melt on it. We had just arrived back into San Pedro after our weekend cruise and we yelped a place to eat and this place popped up so we decided to try it. It was delicious!! I prefer to come here in the morning because I've experienced some rudeness from the later servers.
