WOW.... This place is pretty disgusting. A/C vents covered in mold, male restroom is worse than a filthy gas station. Main entrance inaccessible due to it being broken. Most of the ceiling is black to l due to previous smoking allowed or simply mold? I wouldn't dare order food here! If their restrooms are forty filthy, how clean can that kitchen be? I've heard this strip is to be razed soon, but still no reason for the disarray here. I've also heard this owner also has Aqua on 5th. I'll leave it to you to form your own opinion on that 3 star establishment. Obviously, the owner doesn't care about quality at his restaurants... even their North Naples location is barely above 3 stars. Why 2 stars instead of one? I've been coming to Liki Tiki for years with my grandmother, and it has become one of our favorite traditions after catching a sunset on the beach. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service always makes us feel like family. A special shoutout to Adriene for her outstanding service she's attentive, friendly, and truly goes above and beyond. This is the service we look forward too every time we visit. We also love the live music, which adds such a fun and relaxed vibe to the whole experience. It's the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy a great meal, and make lasting memories with the people you care about. We've heard rumors that they might be closing, and we sincerely hope that isn't the case. Liki Tiki is a staple for us and for so many others in the community. This place has great ambiance, live music and tvs at every booth, in case your missing your sports. We started out day with sunrise in Fort Lauderdale, great breakfast at Lester's in sunrise, the. We drove across the state to watch the sunset in Naples and then had dinner at Liki Tiki BBQ we took a chance with our perfect day and it was awesome generous portions, live music, great service. I really like the atmosphere here. Reminds me of a dive bar in the keys. Lots of sliders wide open for fresh air. I want to come back when I'm not on my lunch break to enjoy the place with drinks and drinks only. Their soda machine didn't work today so I had tea. The food here is disgusting. I eat A LOT of BBQ and I actually run a successful food page on Instagram that is 95% smoked brisket, steaks, etc. I have a lot of experience with smoking food. I decided to try their brisket entree which came with fries plus two sides. The brisket is the worst I've ever had in my life. Please don't order it. There's no smoke flavor, no smoke ring, no bark, and no seasoning. Honestly, it seems like it's just wrapped in foil and thrown in an oven. Then I can only assume that it's sliced and put in the fridge. Upon ordering they pull it from a fridge and warm slices on a griddle as both sides of every piece had signs of a griddle. That's not how you cook/serve brisket! Check out the photos. I couldn't finish it. I didn't complain because maybe that's how they always cook it, but it's terrible. Texas toast isn't very good either. Coleslaw was the best thing on the plate. Please hire somebody that knows how to smoke meat because the atmosphere is great. I don't usually do reviews, look at reviews for my own guidance. I do this as a public service announcement. Unless you are just going for a drink- move on. Service is fine. The live music as well. Food gawd awful. The so called "brisket" is the most poorly cooked excuse for bbq to date. I have extensive bbq smoking experience, and have eaten BBQ of all kinds around the country. This may be a brisket cut, but that's as close to to BBQ as this place gets. Maybe boiled? Reheated on a flat top then a side of generic bbq sauce?? Sides were marginal. Biggest issue? NO RUNNING WATER IN THE MENS ROOM!! gross. The stars on based on the food. I'd give two stars to the place. Will explain later.....the half grilled bbq'd chicken was very good in its own bbq sauce, which tasted very good. It was very tender. Came with two sides. Chose the beans and cole slaw. The chicken was fresher than so many other places. Was not tough as you can get in other places. Enjoyed it. Certainly a very decent half chicken given the size. Enjoyed it a lot. Got two meals out of it. ! I chose take-out on the order and decided to have it home. Safer. What was initially disappointing about the restaurant is that no one there was wearing a mask. Had seen the bartender cough in the crook of her arm. The tables surrounding the entrance in both sides did give customers more options but for a place open just 5 months in this location, most of the cushions were dirty and baked in. You never want to see that. On one side of the restaurant facing Tamiami trail, a bit too close for me dining outside there. Felt unsafe. The tables along the side street I would feel safer. What I see on the other reviews here is that the restaurant is more political, hence no masks. (Trumpsters) and although I respect their choice, would have felt better to see them masked and not coughing into her arm. So you have options. MINE is always about the food and looking forward to trying the ribs next as it also looked good on Yelp. A tad more expensive than other places for a full rack. Hopefully this rack may answer that on my next outing. And, can always take the order home. Because it's worth the $12.99. read more

Hmm.... This is a drinking establishment. There are several professionally pickled patrons sitting at the bar at any given time. If that's your game pull up a chair. Don't expect too much from the menu. The fries are fairly decent, hand made, however, if you stray too far from the fries you may find the fare not too far from a can. The brisket sandwich is served on a very pretty cheese ciabatta bun (looks far better than it taste) the brisket is far too well done and dry. The coleslaw is from a jar, the pulled pork and beans is almost wholly beans, the pulled pork is an afterthought and barely noticeable. The corn bread was actually not bad at all, surprisingly. Like I said, Liki BBQ seems to be a place to get your buzz on, not your food. read more

LADIES DO NOT COME HERE ALONE!!! Had an awful time here last night. A drunk local got aggressive with me and my friend (just normal girls stopping in for a drink). Wouldn't leave us alone and kept insulting us even though we hadn't mentioned anything political (like other reviews mention) or said anything other than basic small talk. The bartender (Andrew) didn't step in despite being aware of the situation, and he even knew the guy harassing us. Ended up hiding in the bathroom until our Uber came, felt so unsafe. After reading the menu online I was very excited to try it out. Funny thing is the two people who took food out ordered pizzas! I ordered ribs, pulled pork sandwich, and 1/2 bbq chicken. I also ordered the bacon. The bacon was amazing. Thick and crispy!! Probably the best part. Yum! While it took 45 minutes to get food to go, I dont really have a good food experience to share. Very unfortunate . The fries that came with the food were greasy and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The rack of ribs were in 2 pieces. The bottom were overcooked, burned and dried out. The top 1/2 was slathered with what tasted like store bought sauce. Unfortunately they tasted like they were cooked yesterday and doctored to.taste fresh. I was surprised since this place had a lot of potential. The 1/2 baked chicked was just ok. Nothing to say it was bad or great. I have to say this was probably the worst meal I have had in a long time, and that includes my own cooking. The brisket was tough and so dry, I had to buy another beer to wash it down. The fries, average. The baked beans with pulled pork did not live up to the menu - where's the pork? The cole slaw might have been store bought, but I'm not sure. The lettuce wedge was void of all tomatoes. I understand wedges with tomatoes is by no means a "food law", but SMH. Ok I have mixed feelings on this place. It started with a laid back local vibe. They have a good selection of beer and friendly staff. We had a pound of peel and eat shrimp. My wife had 2 patron margaritas and I had 2 beers. The shocker was the bill. My wife was charged $20 each for her margaritas. For reference Ritz Carlton has an ultimate margarita for $13.50. The Claw bar $15.00. Both are much fancier than this place. We questioned the cost and where told that $20 was the correct price. Went with a party of five. We frequently go to Aqua on Fifth, which is owned by the same people so thought we would check out the Liki Tiki. The bar/restaurant was not in great shape and the bathrooms were dirty. Beers were cold and good, but had to send back my glass of house Cabernet because it was stale. Our waitress was good and very attentive, considering she was also the bartender. We ordered ribs and brisket for dinner. Overall, the food was decent, but it was brought to us on large metal trays that took up the entire table. Plates provided were too small to eat off of. Overall, the experience was not good. The owners should put some more money into the place and definitely clean it up. We will not be going back unfortunately. read more

We stopped for lunch and it was a great choice. I had the blackened grouper sandwich and my husband had the BBQ pork entree. Every single thing was good. The hand cut fries, coleslaw, baked beans sides were great. The pork was outstanding and my sandwich was perfect. This place is mainly about the bar, but they have a great food menu and really good BBQ. There are great happy hour discounts and live music every day starting at 5pm. The place was packed and a bit rowdy, and the music was just a bit loud. What pandemic? I ordered the barbecue pork dinner ($12.99), which included a generous amount of pork and two sides. Though the menu stated that the pork was "seriously moist and juicy," it really was a bit dry. However, with the flavorful sauce provided, I had no complaints. Others in my group ordered buffalo wings ($10.99) and steamers ($12.99). Next time I hope to order the St. Louis ribs which are braised in Dr. Pepper (full slab $19.99). Service was slow and it took forever for the food to show up (the woman who served us was actually the bartender and she explained they had no waitstaff that night). We will check it out again, as there are plenty of things on the menu we would enjoy, the prices are reasonable, and the music is pretty good. Hopefully next time it will not take so long to get the food and maybe the "moist and juicy" pork will actually be moist and juicy. At that point, I will add the fifth star. Half rack of ribs was the size of my wallet and about the same texture. Maybe their other options are better, but the ribs are easily the worst I've ever had. Please don't get the brisket, by far the worst brisket I've had ever. It was so fatty and cut in slabs, not pulled or chopped. It looked like lamb slices that sat in the sun for a day.
