The issue I had was everything seemed to be a bit watery but didn't impact the taste too much. I reviewed the menu on my way there: sounded inviting but the actual dishes were just okay. They were freshly made given it just opened, but my chicken and vegetables left a greasy layer over my palate. Sign of poor quality oil. My colleague had a bento box. I noticed she ate all but the sesame chicken. The service was flat: order, bring food, give a cheque. Sigh, another New York place I NEED in Arizona. Never have I ever seen gluten free low mein EVER. And it was sooooo good. Looked and tasted just like the regular version. Also got the crispy orange chicken gluten free (not on the menu but they said they could do it for us). I've missed orange chicken. So crispy and tangy and slightly sweet. It came with orange prices and spicy pepper!! Also some broccoli which was nice and white rice. Also got the crispy spring rolls because can't get that gluten free anywhere else. Divine. Came out nice and hot and had the perfect crunch and a delicate sauce to go with it. Split all this with a friend and we had enough for another small meal each the next day. A couple of my friends are celiac/gluten free and hadnt had chinese food in ages, so they were really excited and this surpassed their expectations! The spare ribs were good and probably the best thing we had. The roll was good but not spectacular. I wouldn't be mad about eating it again but wouldn't go out of my way to get it. The gluten free menu was expansive offering most classics like fried dumplings, fried rice, sushi, sesame chicken etc. We have a great gluten free chinese spot near us, so we decided to try something that they don't offer. We tried the pan fried pork dumplings. It came with a tasty dipping sauce. The pork itself was great, but the dough on our dumplings was undercooked. Fried side was cooked fine but the opposing side was thick and chewy and was goo on the chopsticks. Sadly this is the only food item we tried. I appreciate that this place makes my little one happy with dumplings and where I can eat Singapore Noodles without worry.
