Wellll... I was hoping to give Lilly's 5 stars but I just can't. I met my parents for dinner and we ordered three totally different plates. I got the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. Average at best. I don't think the potatoes were real and the mac & cheese was not as good as Kraft. The chicken was fine but nothing special. Dad ordered an omelet with fried potatoes and his dish was good. Mom got a sandwich and it was fairly sad. The lettuce and tomato looked lackluster and the sandwich was small and on regular looking bread. Service was good and for a diner, the atmosphere wasn't bad. Prices were good. Pretty good experience overall. Not five stars unfortunately. read more

Make no doubt this is a local diner on Rt 66. You would miss it if you did not know it was there. Find it; you will not regret it. Live 3 miles from the place and finally tried it. I should have known from the packed parking lot. Lilly's is a family diner, with diner food, and not a date restaurant. Lots of locales, seat yourself, come as you are kind of place. Food is good; the only miss is sometimes service is a bit off. Read on. The best meal is breakfast. Large portions, monster cinnamon rolls, great biscuits/gravy, all the items you expect in a diner cooked to order. Lunch and dinner are tasty. If you like Onion Rings, you hit a home run. Chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken are excellent. All entrees and sandwiches are good. There is room for improvement with some of the sides like green beans, corn, and brown beans are canned. Fries, mashed tators, and okra are fresh. Service, for the most part, is acceptable. Sometimes excellent, others OK, and sometimes slow. It depends on which waitress table you get. Thumbs up overall--good food, large portions, excellent value, clean, with decent service. Stopped in on our travels back home from a long weekend in Branson. We saw this place got great reviews and it was at the right exit, so we stopped. They had a daily special on the hamburger steak (x2), so figured why not?! We also ordered veggie omelet with a pancake. One hamburger steak dinner, we ordered green beans and okra. The hamburger steak comes with grilled onions and mushrooms and brown gravy. The other one ordered the hamburger steak with white gravy, side salad and baked potato. Hamburger steak - perfect! It had a crispy grilled outside, and tasted great! We both enjoyed our own steaks - white/brown gravy. The green beans are homemade with bits of bacon! Very good. Okra was crispy and tasty. Side salad was ordered with homemade ranch, and was good. Got the baked potato to go, but have no doubts it's equally as good! Now the dinner rolls that come with the meals were SO GOOD!! Delicious!! Veggie omelette was very good. And the pancake got rave reviews and not one bite was left! Good! The service was great, as well!! Very friendly and down to earth. This place is AMAZING!!!!!! $4.99 breakfast special everyday, free coffee between 06:00-08:00, friendly staff and the food is RIDICULOUSLY delicious. French toast is a crowd pleaser and I have seen fights break out over the weekly turkey and dressing special...which is Wednesday, so get they there early before they run out. This is our go to diner. Everything is good, portions are generous, reasonably priced, and service is great!

The food is okay and meant for the people they serve as their client base. the waitresses don't exactly follow hygienic food handling procedure's so I don't eat there anymore. It's like if you like Waffle House you like Waffle House, if you like Lilly's you like Lilly's and they don't really care because they are swamped all the time anyway. It's a local dive. read more

Always good. Always consistent. Great breakfasts (outstanding blueberry pancakes and breakfast burrito's). We have tried to eat our way through the menu - but it is hard not to go back to the tried and true- Lilly's Hot Roast Beef Sandwich, grilled or fried pork chops, spaghetti and meatballs or whatever the special is that day. It is a classic diner with excellent food prepared fresh with ample portions. The decor is clean and tasteful in a home diner way. The diner is a little hard to see from the road now that a carwash was built in front of it. Look behind the carwash and you will see it. The staff were very friendly and our server (Jane) was not only sweet and polite, but was willing to have a nice conversation with us about the restaurant and how good it was. We ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. We each got a roll and they are great! My wife and I split the meal and the serving size was enough that we were both full. Drinks are reasonable at 2.29 so we both ordered them. The ice tea was very good. We go to Tulsa 5-6 times each year and look for something great. This is our favorite place so far, and we have had some really good meals. It is right near the casino at Catoosa so don't miss it. I would like to try the breakfast next time in Tulsa as we saw some amazing dishes come out the the obvious regulars (the servers knew them) for breakfast, but also the meatloaf special. If I could only give more than 5 stars I would. This place is so fantastic. The foods are grate and you get the feeling of the country kitchen, it's like having your meal at home. Price wise is not bad at all. In addition to that the service is so overwhelming, very attentive and courtious. I couldnt ask for more. Definitely will be back again on our next trip. We've been to Lilly's twice now. The service is good and the food is good. The prices are very reasonable. We will be frequenting this place often. The first time I got the smaller sirloin (med) w/ loaded baked potato and a side salad. Steak was cooked correctly and tasted good for a restaurant steak. (I never order steak at diners so I was pleasantly surprised.) My husband ordered the chicken fried steak w/ mashed potatoes and fried okra. He loved it. I tried it and it was delicious- especially the gravy. My 12 yr old son ordered the meat lover's omelette with hash browns and liked it so much he actually ate the leftovers the next day! The second time we went I got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer (comes with 8 and marinara or homemade ranch - the marinara was really tasty and sticks were fresh). I ordered the Tues special for my meal, Goulash, which comes with garlic bread and a side. That was the only thing I've been disappointed by... the Goulash was bland and noodles were mushy. I love Goulash but, it just wasn't very good. My daughter ordered the salmon w/ a loaded baked potato and side salad. She really liked it. My son ordered the French toast w/ home fries, scrambled eggs and sausage. He ate all of it. The French toast is really tasty made with cinnamon and powdered sugar. I asked what the daily specials were and they are: Mon: Beef stew with cornbread, Tues: Goulash with garlic bread and salad (or other side of you choose), Wed: Turkey & Dressing with two sides, Thurs: Meatloaf with brown gravy and two sides, Fri: Catfish with two sides. I'm pretty excited to try the Meatloaf (because it looked delicious) and the Turkey & Dressing (because it's one of my favs!) Great place to eat! read more
