I really wish I remembered the name of who did my nails, but she was a super sweet aunty who took her time and really delivered on what I wanted! Being from Hawaii, my routine is that I tend to do my nails once a month and because of that they usually get pretty long by the next time I need them done. Considering I was in SD for the summer, I decided to give Lily Nails a shot and the aunty who did my nails did a great job cleaning them up and then shaping them back down to being round and short! She was very sweet and she tried her best to freestyle the squiggly design I showed her and in the end it came out so good! I want her to know how grateful I am for her effort and she seemed to have fun doing something like this, too. Check out the picture to see how good it turned out!
Make an appointment with Lea, she's very gentle with pedicures and she takes her time to work on your nails! I wish this place had dip powder OR did acrylic powder over your real nails instead of on fake nails. I would recommend parking the block before in the 2 hour parking zone on university and just crossing the street. I would recommend calling and making an apt cause they do get very busy and can be disorganized. I would also recommend making an early morning apt cause again they get busy. They have a lot of options for gel manicures. The guy who does pedicures does it rough and it hurts. You pay for the service you get.

Thank you Lisa! Duo chrome nails, they shift from blue to purple. They were only $28(gel fill). As many reviews say, make an appointment because they do get busy. Only complaint is that previous salons have told me how much I'd pay before starting but this one waits till the end.
Getting my fill!! After 4 weeks my nails still look good. I was still getting compliments. That's what I'm talking about. I made an appointment with Lisa and I was in & out within an hour. I only had to wait 10 minutes after my scheduled appt. Lisa was on her s$$$ today. Lisa did another fabulous job today on my nails. Raspberry gel polish with black glitter accent. Fire!! See you in 4 weeks Lisa!!
Tip: always call for your appointment otherwise you'll be waiting a long time. This was my first time here because the last time I didn't make an appointment; so it felt like I was waiting for almost an hour.. and ended up going to a different nail shop. Lol Honestly, good prices here though and I do like how they take their time on my nails! Hence the long waits. Got a full set and Melissa was nice and accommodating even for my girlfriend who didn't have an appointment! Their hours are 9:30-7:00 but make sure to get here early and on time for your appointment!
This is my first with this place and I like the ambiance. It's very quiet and all the staff were nice and just chilling doing other people's nails. I finally got called and even though the nail tech was doing my nails fast, she have the control of her tools and how my nails will look. I like how she's fast but still gave me a really good product! Regular Gel manicure $23
I have been coming here for the last 2 years and I recently walked in at 9:45am and was able to get seated within 5 minutes. The male staff first did my manicure and ensured to use new tools. i believe Lisa was the one to take over to do my toes and my eyebrow waxing. It does get busy here, so don't be afraid to call and schedule an appointment. Thank you so much! I'll see you all soon. read more

The lady rushed so much, she had me sit at a desk covered in someone else's nail clippings. She over filed my nails. They're all crooked and no two, have the same shape. The details I asked for, one is huge, one is small. My nails are SO crooked. I would never come back here. read more

I am very picky with my French tip fullest when I get it . This was my first time here. There were 4 nail techs all chairs were busy but I didn't wait long. The male tech did my nails wish I got his name to give him a shout out. I'm in love with my nails read more

Smokey did an amazing job. I showed a reference photo and he kept asking if I liked the shape, color and length. It didn't take too long and he had a good sense of humor. Fairly priced as well. Will definitely be coming back. read more

If you make an appointment, you should be good. I ALWAYS book a week or 2 in advance and come 20min early. Lisa did short skinny french tip and I loveeeeeeeeee them !! My nails always last 2 weeks+ no lifting or chipping. read more

Lily always nails what I ask for. I love that she takes her time with every single one of her clients no matter what it is. I've had to wait at times even when I've made an appointment. But I don't mind because like I said she doesn't rush through anyones nails which is so worth the little wait if you want the job done right. I highly recommend her. She's not only nice & caring. Honestly love the service, been going here since 2010/2011. I highly recommend this place but I also think it's best to make an appointment because they do get very busy. All the lady's are amazing, but I always stick to my lady Melissa. Prices are very reasonable and affordable. read more

It's rare that I actually get my nails done but when I do I come to Lily Nails- I usually do gel mani's myself, but I wanted to treat myself a lil! Spa pedicure by the man, I didn't catch his name I was honestly halfway snoozed the whole time my toes were getting treated lol. My feet are very ticklish so he did a good job still scrubbing off my old foot skins. Lol. Full set by Lisa and either her or Lily do my nails whenever I come in. Lisa and I got into deep conversation about life which usually doesn't happen at nail shops especially in national city. She is so meticulous even when in deep conversation, she took her time even though I was the last client of the day. My nails came out perfect and so did my toesies. As per usual though :) read more

I've been coming to Lily's Nails since 2012. I've had my share of good and bad experiences. Three stars because I love the ladies here! They're nice and they do a great job! The prices are lower compared to most places too! The reason why i'm not giving this place four or five stars is because TIME is so important to me! There have been several occasions where I have made an APPOINTMENT and I come before my appointment time but I STILL end up waiting 30 minutes to an hour! I'm currently sitting in a spa chair right now and just waited an hour. My appointment was at 4pm and they didn't start working with me for a pedicure until 5pm. I would have walked out but I had figured that I had already wasted my time waiting. Another memorable frustrating experience I had was when I waited an hour an a half. This was when I walked in without an appointment BUT I was told that the wait would only be 30 minutes by Lily If time is really important to you then DON'T come here. I will not be coming back to Lily's. I'm a very patient person and not one to complain but this is the final straw read more

Last minute to get my nails done and I went here... BEST DECISION EVER! It was N.Y.Eve and Luckily this shop was up and att'em. I walked in , no appointment, sat down and was greeted by everyone. There were 2 girls ahead of me but for some reason I went first- no complaints here- My technician was really fast and percise she didn't miss a beat; My nails came out awesome; I loved them !- they ended up lasting longer than I would thought they have forsure-Anyways I Tipped the kind lady heavily & went about my New Years! read more

Premium work for a good price. I'm Vietnamese and know for a fact these ladies do not speak badly about anyone and have been coming here for ten years. Their wait times are atrocious. I'd highly recommend only making an appointment for mornings. Again, their wait times are really bad only because they care about their final product. Their initial customer service isn't great either but once the girls warm up to you it's worth it read more

I was happy to get a pedicure before a special event I was going to and was very upset with the service I received. First off the lady was to busy texting to do my feet. Then after doing 3 toes she says the polish is all out. They didn't have anymore of the color so I chose another one which I wasn't sure about and she proceeded to put that polish on top of the other. The color ended up being to bright for the event so I chose another lighter color. Well she put this one on top of the old polish. I told her it would chip and she said no. I told her it wouldn't dry well and she assured me it would. I could still see the other color around the tips but to top things off I get home and some of the color comes off two toenails. See the picture. Worst pedicure ever and they will never see me again. Save yourself the stress and find another shop. read more

I was impressed with Lily's work. She was so detailed and has a good eye for making sure your nails are even. I usually have to ask for the file to fix crooked nails but not with her. I will be going back. read more
Before making an appointment here, I read previous reviews stating that there may or may not be a wait, even if you set an appointment. With that in mind, I expected to wait so I showed up to my appointment and waited 15-20mins for Lisa. I didn't mind too much because I''m extremely patient (it's scary) and plus, I brought a book with me. Anyway, Lisa is great! She's very friendly and her work is clean and efficient. I went in for an acrylic fill and gel. I'm very OCD with my nails and I love how my nails turned out. I have another nail place I go to and I love my nail tech there, but atleast I can go to Lily Nails also and not be disappointed. Now I have two nail places I can trust. Yesss!!! I will be a returning customer for sure! read more
Finally found a nail salon that is close to home. From reading off Yelp reviews it seems like everyone is good at doing nails. Well I chose Lisa to do mine and she does a fantastic job! There's usually 3 girls working and I'm not sure if there is more on other days but they are usually all busy working on someone. MAKE SURE YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. And yes, you'll probably have to wait even if you have an appointment. Im patient enough to wait because I usually get my nails done on my day off. Anyways, Lisa cleans up around the nail very nicely and she doesn't work too rough on my hands like other salons. I actually just got a fill with gel polish and a pedicure yesterday for $32. Yup, that's a steal deal to me because that's how much I usually pay for a fill w/ gel polish alone. The nail salon is small but clean and organized. I have recommended my friends to go here as well since the prices are amazing for the work they do! The employees here are actually quite nice and friendly. I really love this little nail shop ran by hard working ladies. But, there is one problem that I cannot stand.. Time management. They do a great job in doing nails but they don't have much color selections and their time management is not that great. I always make an appointment but every time I come here, I've never been seated on time. Either I have to wait 30 minutes or 2 hours like today.. After reading all the reviews about walk-ins, I definitely made an appointment and was even willing to wait 30-45mins after the appointed time but surprisingly, I didn't wait at all! As a matter of fact, I was seated right away and within an hour I was out the door on my merry way! I had only wanted a fill but got so much more. The lady that I had previously went to for a set made them all crooked and Loan (I'm assuming) fixed it and shaped them to almondy perfection! On top of the great service, it only cost me $23! This is officially my go-to nail salon. read more
