What was brought to the table appeared to be sautéed onions with garlic. I politely explained that this wasn't what I was expecting and that I had anticipated a sauce with a thinner consistency. At that point, the server's tone became noticeably confrontational and he insisted that what had been served was the sauce I was describing. The interaction became uncomfortable, and the server continued to give us what felt like dirty looks for the remainder of our visit. The situation left us feeling unwelcome and ultimately made us want to leave. I've included a photo so others can decide for themselves whether what was served matches the description of a garlic/mojo sauce.

The order took a bit longer than expected and I noticed that it happened to all the tables. I tried the makis acevichados. The taste was good, but they are not the peruvian makis I have tried for years in Peru. This was something different, but still good. The tacu tacu with lomo saltado, though. It was really good. I liked when it comes with a tick sauce instead of just water. The tacu tacu may have needed to get crispy a little bit, but the flavor was amazing. Finally, they only have option of glass of chicha morada. The taste was really good, I could feel the spices.

I ordered the sampler and the Causa the sampler was nice it did not wow me but it was nice. The shrimp is for certain frozen and not made fresh. Now the Causa is something that I was very disappointed in. To me this is a dish that always brought me back to Peru. Unfortunately this Causa did not do it justice. I would give anything chance unless it's just always blant. When it came to service I see people love the service and this is something I looked forward to but I would like to say the waitress was having a bad day. She was rushed and not the friendliest.
