This has recently became my go to spot for weekend breakfast. I do think the prices are a little bit higher than some of the other standard breakfast places in the area, which is what I would say this is too. It has been too long since I've been to other Lincoln Squares to really rate it compared to the others. I also sometimes get frustrated by their inability to make even minor substitutions and who makes a meal with hashbrowns included in the description but for an extra charge it seems like a small cash grab. With all that said, I keep going back because the food is tasty and the overall value is good. I really like their French toast and the strawberry preserve that is on every table is delicious. We will keep on frequenting this place at breakfast time along with a few others. read more

This is a go to for a casual yet delicious meal. My Mom is a big fan so we met one of her friends for lunch. I wasn't sure what to get until I found out they make their own spanakopita. Mind blowing! This spot has some fun favorites and breakfast is always a good option. The spanakopita takes a bit to make as they do it to order, but it was flaky and full of spinach and feta (real Greek feta), and melted in our mouths. It comes with two sides so you can bill it up a bit of go light. I went light with Cole slaw which was nice and tangy. This was my first time dining in but I have ordered carryout before. We had a great experience. We were greeted right away and all the staff were friendly. The restaurant was about half full on a Saturday morning around 7:30. The menu is huge. I definitely wanted one of everything. I ended up with the veggie scrambler that came with aside of hash browns, pancakes, and fruit. All the fruits and veggies tasted so fresh. Wife & I tried Lincoln Square for the first time in a long time. Overall it was..... meh. Not horrible but not as good as either of us remembered. Service was very friendly & although not crowded we did lose our waitress it seems when refills were needed. Thankfully another staff member say te issue & jumped in. We both had breaded tenderloin sandwiches as an entree. More on those in a second. My wife felt the Cole slaw was so so & we both thought the cottage cheese was decent. I asked for crispy fries & they were that! They also had no seasoning on them whatsoever which made them pretty bland. On the tenderloins the buns were very nice. Toasted but soft. Exactly how they were supposed to be. The tenderloins themselves? Very chewy. When you would try to take a bite the breading would come off but not the meat. In honesty it was a mediocre tenderloin. Also have NO idea if there was a cause & effect but glad we were dining close to home as we both had to make urgent bathroom runs. ‍ The bottom line for us is I think we are fine if we stick to breakfast items because the tenderloins would definitely not want to make folks come back. read more

The french toast was fluffy and the sides were huge. I left there stuffed. They have a typical brunch menu with breakfast and lunch items such as burgers, wraps, and sandwiches. My server, Katie, was absolutely awesome. They have COVID precautions in place. All the booths are separated by plexiglass and they are limiting seating. The restaurant is pretty open and it has an old diner feel to it. It does get kind of loud in there. Well at least while I was there. First thing I noticed was the Easter decorations which I thought was cute. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted immediately and seated. I normally order regular breakfast but today I was feeling out of the ordinary, and they have a lot of options on their menu. I opted for the Nutella crepes, with a side of bacon. My hubby ordered an egg white veggie omelet, subbed the hash browns for German potatoes and toast with their home made jam. I wasn't that pleased with the Nutella crepes. The fruit on it was good but the actually crepe tasted like cardboard, I think the fixings helped me be able to tolerate it but I won't order that again. Sometimes trying something different is disappointing, but hey it's adventure! Their strawberry homemade jam was tasty, and the German potatoes were very good. My hub wasn't super pleased with his omelette but he said it was ok. One thing I wasn't too happy about was that it was so cold inside it makes it harder to enjoy my food. Wanted someplace for a late breakfast that was close to where I was staying and local. Always get a ham, onion, and cheese omelet with home fries. Had a biscuit for a side instead of just plain bread and a cuppa coffee. The coffee was ok. There is a one hour time limit Upon receiving food which is reasonable to see since they are using half capacity and need to be able to turn tables quicker then normal. The eggs were cold coming out and hash browns were way under cooked so those were left on the plate. I did try to eat them but the crunch and cold made me think it was taken off way to early and by crunch i mean the raw imitation potato type crunch taste not appetizing. The coffee was hot fresh and refilled on time the sweet tea was not overly powered either so refreshments were great. Over good experience for the raw hash and cold eggs is why three stars oh and the gravy was very cold not sure what happen there with it but if it was hot and tasted fresh and fully cooked hash could have easily been four or five stars. read more

I decided to have breakfast at this location recently. I kept hearing about it, and it also has great reviews on Yelp. I ordered my usual standard; an eggs benedict variation. It was very good. I would recommend eating there. And judging by how busy it was, as well as the friendly service, there's no doubt this business is thriving. All the other various basic breakfasts looked great too. Per usual on a Saturday morning there was a wait. Luckily, it was a very short wait. They were really busy and our service was a little bit slow but not excessively so. We had our food very quickly per usual. It was so good! This place rarely disappoints. My eggs were perfectly over medium. My bacon crispy but not too crispy. My hash browns perfectly crispy on both sides and soft and hot in the middle. I love that they have rye toast. Mine was perfectly toasted. The coffee is always hot and fresh as it was this time. I met a friend for breakfast at Lincoln Square. We'd never dined at this Madison Avenue location and a late breakfast sounded perfect that day. Parking is located on both sides of the restaurant and handicapped parking is available. The double doors are fairly heavy and made it difficult for my friend to open by herself. The menu offers breakfast served all day from breakfast bowls, breakfast tacos, waffles, crepes, pancakes, omelettes, French toast (try the Cinnamon French Toast), eggs benedicts to biscuits and gravy. There is something for most and healthy options are available. I had 2 eggs scrambled, 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy, hash browns and bacon. Everything was hot, fresh and prepared well. My friend had the traditional Eggs Benedict with a split English muffin, Canadian bacon, 2 poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce and served with hash browns. She said it was good and the eggs were prepared the way she prefers. If you're not in the mood for breakfast the lunch menu has many tasty selections. Burgers, melts, several wraps, tenderloins, clubs and salads are a few of your lunch options. Our server was terrific, wore a mask, checked on us many times, removed used dishes quickly and refilled our beverages timely. They do have a time limit posted of 1 hour per table due to the limited number of tables available. It wasn't enforced with us and appears it's mainly for peak hours.
