He is transparent about his shop's limitations (they don't do German cars but refer us to highly rated shops nearby). It was not. He was wedged in there for 12 hours with no food, no water, and zero litter box access. He was absolutely losing it. I ran through every option. Fire department? Busy with the actual chemical explosion rattling all of OC, fair. Animal control? Ghosted me. My cousin, currently out of the country, tried Tesla Roadside Assistance through the app. Tesla's answer: their technicians are not trained to rescue animals. Noted, but deeply unhelpful in the moment. Two other mechanics passed too. Jesse was my third Yelp attempt and my last real option. He showed up within two hours, no fuss, and got straight to work. He tried everything - the frunk, underneath, removing the right wheel - methodically working different angles for an hour and a half because my cat had chosen the most inconvenient possible position to be chonky in. Jesse stayed patient the entire time and got him out safely. My cat is home. He is fine. He is completely unbothered, as cats are. Jesse showed up when nobody else could. That is not something I will forget. Oh, and his prices are insanely reasonable. If you need a mechanic who will actually show up and problem-solve, Jesse is your guy.

After getting nowhere, I called from a different number--and suddenly Jesse answered. His excuse was that he had been "busy." I asked him to send me my money back and he hung up and blocked my number. In total, nearly two months passed after he took my money with no communication, no follow-up, and no attempt to complete the service. Being busy may explain a delayed response. It does not explain ignoring a paying customer for over two months while continuing to keep their money. That is not poor time management; it is poor business practice. There was an $80 diagnostic fee, so technically I am only out $40. Financially, it is not a huge loss. Professionally, however, it says everything I need to know about this business. A reputable business does not take payment, fail to complete the agreed-upon service, ignore every attempt at communication, and then offer excuses only after being reached from a number it does not recognize. The motorcycle needed a diagnosis, but the bigger problem turned out to be the business itself: unreliable, unresponsive, and completely lacking in accountability. I would not trust Jesse with my motorcycle again, and I certainly would not recommend paying him anything upfront.

The cost was only $150, money well spent to get ice cold air conditioning back. The most recent visit was to troubleshoot a service error code and ABS and brake warning lights. I was hoping this would just be a sensor on one of the wheels, but Frank said it looked like the main ABS ECU unit was faulty. Given the potential cost of the repair, it didn't make sense given the value of the car. I appreciated his honest opinion. He said there was no charge, but I still tipped him for his time because he always takes great care of me. I have tried a few other shops in the area over the years, and had initial good experiences. However, they all eventually gave me an estimate I knew as wrong, or didn't do work they said they did. I've been going to Frank ever since, and trust him 100%. If you need a top notch mechanic, Frank is your guy!

I was about two hours from home, and ended up with a hole in my tire that needed fixing before I could drive back. They told me to arrive by 6:30 p.m. since they closed at 7, and I got there just in time. While the actual replacement process was smooth and the tires look fine, I only found out from the paperwork afterward that they were supposedly "balanced". Unfortunately, the car hasn't been driving right since. The steering feels off, it's jerky, and turns are more difficult than they should be. Clearly, something is wrong with the balancing or the installation. I'm concerned that because I arrived so close to closing time, the job may have been rushed. If they can't do a thorough job that late in the day, they really should stop taking new customers earlier rather than rushing through the work. In short, while the staff was accommodating in terms of timing, the end result was that my car doesn't drive properly now. For that reason, I wouldn't go back.

I dropped my truck off on Saturday, March 14th at 9:00 AM. Around 2:30 PM, I received a call that the four tires I requested to have replaced was ready for pick up. After paying $1,061.57 for the tires and labor, I drove off the lot only for my truck to begin violently shaking, forcing me to pull over immediately. I contacted my husband, who came to assist, but the truck was undrivable. I returned to Stress Free Auto Care and explained the situation. At that point, my husband was already waiting for a tow truck. Instead of addressing the issue, we were told they were closing and would not inspect the vehicle until Monday. I could hear the mechanic complaining that he was tired and didn't want to wait around when the manager went to speak to him. I specifically asked if anyone actually drove my truck to test it and was told no they did not road test it. Obviously. Due to the poor customer service and urgency of the situation, we had the truck towed to Toyota of Orange. After inspection, we were informed that the lug nuts had been grossly over-tightened, three were broken and one was missing entirely. This was not a minor mistake; it caused significant damage to the wheel components and created a serious safety hazard. Proper torque is a basic standard that any competent shop should follow, yet it was clearly ignored. No one from Stress Free Auto Care contacted us at any point the following week. After Toyota kept the truck for a week and a half, we were left with a repair bill of $3,332.03. My husband sent a certified letter to Stress Free Auto Care, including documentation of the damages and requesting reimbursement. The manager eventually responded, offering to reimburse only the cost of the tires without acknowledging the additional damages or expenses incurred. As a result, we have filed a lawsuit to recover our losses. I strongly caution anyone to use Stress Free and to choose a business that values safety, accountability, and professional standards.

I chose them because they are well rated, specialize in BMW and are close by. I dropped off my car for an inspection and shared with Noel what occurred at the dealer. The inspection was performed in less than 2 hours and the list of recommendations was similar but came in at a fraction of the dealer "urgent" repair work. Discussed all with Noel and based on our situation (keep or sell?) he helped us make our choice. Appreciate their transparency and advice. They are professional and straight forward.

He takes the time to walk through every recommendation, clearly distinguishing between immediate repair versus those that are safe to hold off within a certain time frame. No pressure, no hidden agendas--just straightforward, professional advice! Just recently, I went to the dealership because I have the 3-year pre-paid plan. However, they refused to help with an "oil top-off" warning and tried to charge me a $319 diagnostic fee for a potential leak. I drove straight to Ronin Autowerks and even without an appointment, Noel took care of it immediately. Ronin Autowerks is a small shop. Don't expect a lounge with selection of free beverages and spread of snacks while you wait for your car, but here is the bottom line: I would rather have a straightforward, honest advisor like Noel who saves me hundreds of dollars over some fancy amenities. If you want a shop that prioritizes your car and your wallet - this is the place!

Gino, great guy at the front desk is the first great sign. He says Jose is one of the nicest people ever, couldn't agree more. Definitely helped me out while I was going through a lot. I made the EASIEST mistake known to cars, and they could of easily overcharged me, but didn't. And honestly for that, I am so grateful. I didn't make the best first impression, but they did. Think I found my new mechanic. If vou liked what vou read and need to get your car fixed, come to Orange Empire Auto!

My request went through the Yelp Project page first and Jose was very fast with his response. He told me I could come in on a Friday morning as a walk in. Gino who took care of my intake was very friendly and made me feel welcome. They also had a comfy waiting area stocked with complimentary coffee and snacks, but I didn't need to wait long because I was out of there within an hour, oil changed and tires rotated. Their prices are fair and they accept both credit card and cash/Zelle (if you want to avoid the 3% credit card surcharge). During the oil change they also noted some things that will need repair, but weren't pushy with their recommendations. For that I am very appreciative, and will most definitely come back for their continued services.
