I have been taking my cars to Lindsay Collision Center for years for various body work and detailing. After my first visit I was blown away by the quality of work. I handed them an 8 year old SUV that I used daily, as well as for tailgating, that had never been truly detailed. Honestly, I did not expect much could be done. When I picked my vehicle up (on time as promised I'd like to add), my jaw dropped. My car looked almost brand new, even the engine compartment. This alone would keep me as a recurring customer, but the level of professionalism of the staff and management has been the best I have dealt with in my 30+ years living in Northern Virginia. Customer service here is great but the actual vehicle service is not. Granted I don't drive a Lexus, I drive a Kia. I came here when my car got hit and Geico has express there. My car got hit on the front drivers side. They did a lot of work to it. First, I got a call a few days in saying it would take a little bit more time because my frame was slightly damaged but not to the point of a total loss. After I got my car back I noticed it pulling to the left hand side. I went back and my car was majorly misaligned and they tried to play it off like it was a slight misalignment. This bothered me because when a frame is damaged, and the entire front end had major work to it, why wouldn't you think to do an alignment. Then I went back a few months later because I was having issues with my left front end again. I said they might want to check the work they did because when a frame is damaged that's a scary thing to hear. They told me they have no record of work being done to my frame or that it was damaged! Good thing I saved the voicemail from them telling me they were working on my frame...my check engine light had also come on giving me an evaporative leak code ( I have a reader). They said they would look at it. They claimed it was the plastic under my car making the noise and didn't even bother lifting my hood to check what was wrong with my evaporative system. Their techs just don't care. I took it took Kia and will work with Geico (hopeful but not likely) on billing them for work they did that was related to my accident and actually fixing the problem. read more

Beautiful facility and friendly staff. That's about it!!! Everything else about this place was a nightmare!!! When I was called to pick my car up 2 days later than promised my car looked a mess!!! Car was dirty, it had tape residue all over it. Front bumper had scratches all over it. Door handle was not replaced as it was supposed to be, (it was in the estimate) and there were warning lights on dashboard which I know were not on when I brought the vehicle in and the technician confirmed that. You would think all of this would have been checked before calling me and telling me my vehicle was ready for pickup. I'm pretty sure that if any of Lindsey Collisions employees vehicles looked like mine did that day they wouldn't accept it either. So all of this was realized after I had turned in my rental vehicle so the Lindsey Collision employee said they would put me into another rental at there cost until my vehicle was fixed. I was happy and had no problem with that. Until 5 days later when I was called to come pick my vehicle up because it was ready. Car was once again dirty and still had warning lights on the dash. Nobody had a clue as to why the lights were on the dash and there was a group of people around my car discussing it and none of them seemed to know what they were talking about. At this point I just wanted my car back and to be done with this place so I took my car to the dealer to have the warning lights turned off since the dealer seemed to know what they were doing and had the issue fixed in 5 minutes. I payed some money out of my own pocket to get it fixed but whatever it took to finally be done with Lindsey, or so I thought. Now 6 weeks later I have a $300 charge on my credit card from Enterprise because Lindsey told them that they refuse to pay for my 2nd rental when my vehicle was not ready when it was first promised to me. Lindsey told enterprise that I (the customer) agreed to pay for the second rental. Now why would I agree to pay for a rental because Lindsey did not have my vehicle ready when they said it would be ready????? Makes no sense!!!! That's there fault and responsibility!!!! Now on goes the fight to get my money refunded!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!!!!!!!!! read more

I chose Lindsay Collision to fix my car after being involved in an accident. It was so easy coordinating payment with my insurance and getting things fixed quickly. I dropped my car off and Rebecca looked over it with me. This Enterprise location was located inside so I obviously went a head and used them for ease and convenience. I had a wonderful experience! I called in and was able to quickly make a reservation for the next day. When I arrived I checked in and only had to wait a short time for the car to be brought up. I was offered an suv or a car, they were both brought to the front for me to check out. Returning the car was super fast and easy once my car was ready. A couple days after returning the rental I realized I had left my sunglasses in the car. I called to check to see if they were there and they had already been placed in the safe for me to pick up. When I went to pick them up the associate recognized me and went ahead and got the glasses for me. They were very polite and very helpful. I would have no hesitation recommending them to a friend. My car took a little longer than expected to finish, although I was warned this is usually the case when I was dropping off my car. My car looked great and I was happy with the service. read more

I have been to Lindsay three times total, the first time was helping a friend drop off and pickup his car. This was how I was introduced to and learned about Lindsay. When his car came out it looked fantastic and I was immediately a fan. The second time I was rear ended and need my car fixed. When my insurance company said Lindsay was an option I jumped at the opportunity. I was ecstatic at the results, the car came out looking better than it did going in. I was recently rear ended, again, and purposes delayed my repairs by a few days so that I could take it to Lindsay. The place is and has always been spotless clean, as one review put it "It looks more like a showroom...". The repairs were done in one day which was a shock to me. However when I went to put up my car it was late in the afternoon and I was sick. I failed to see the swirl damage to my paint, windshield, and essentially every exterior part of my car because I was sick and seeing swirls everywhere anyways, plus I just wanted to go home and sleep. Imagine to my surprise when I came out Monday morning and finally saw the damage. The fact that when I came out at lunch time and one of my colleagues commented "I thought you said your car was repaired?" should give you an idea of how badly damaged the paint was. Every part, even the sunroof and the wind deflector for the sunroof had swirls on it. I was furious, I wanted to call Lindsay and complain but I was at work so the only think I could do was write a review on Yelp to let other know. With that being said, within an hour of posting my initial review I got a call from Lindsay. They offered to completely re-detail the car and put me in a rental for the day. There are not many places that will do that just to make things right. While some of the damage cannot be repaired, such as the sunroof, windshields and windows, at least the most visible part, the paint, will be. While I am still frustrated that I had to go through this whole ordeal, the fact that they went out of their way to make it right has restored most of my confidence in Lindsay. Of course, I haven't picked up my car yet. Does anyone know how to check for water or sugar in the gas tank? (I'm kidding of course... I hope) read more

I have used lindsay collision center in springfield twice. The first time I used them, the customer service was excellent. This last time, their meeting the deadline they set is terrible! My car has been there since early September for damages that they said were not that serious. On two seperate occasions they told me my car would be ready for me to pick up. I have yet to be able to pick up my car, in order for me to get information on the progress I had to go up there and speak to someone because they were not answering the phone. Needless to say, I will not be going back once I get my car and will not be reccommending there services to ANYONE!! read more

Car was in to have windshield replaced due to a hwy incident. Windshield was fixed fine and they washed the car. But their clean up of the broken class inside of my car left a lot to be desired. I mentioned this when picking up my car today and they supposedly vaccumed again but i'm still finding broken glass on the inside of my car. They also threw away my state inspection sticker which means i will have to pay to get it inspected again. just had it done in october. And the Enterprise rep wasn't at all helpful and was rude and uncooperative. Had to take the rental to where I actually rented the vehicle tho I was told it could be dropped off at Lindsay. Enterprise found problems with the car that were not true. Returned to where I rented it from no problem. Will never use Lindsay again if I can help it. read more

A few months ago, a deer hit my new car and caused quite a bit of damage. Never needing to have any bodywork done on any of my cars, I had no idea where to take it for repairs. I went to several body shops for estimates but was not totally convinced of the quality of their work. Talking to one of my friends, she recommended Lindsey Collisions. After I checked them out online, I took my car in. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Rachel checked the car over and listened to my concerns. She handled everything with my insurance company. While repairs were in progress she also kept me informed step by step, which I really appreciated. But what really impressed me was the mechanic Sam. He was very professional, patient and knowledgeable about his work. Talking with him, he explained exactly what needed to be done and how it would be handled. His explanations were clear and simple enough for me to understand. After talking to him, I had no doubts that my car was in good hands. When my car was done, 2 days earlier than scheduled, I went to pick it up and I was totally amazed. Sam explained to me all the work that had been done. My car locked brand new! The bodywork was perfect and the paint matched exactly. Even my coworkers thought that I had bought a new car! Hopefully I would never have to use Lindsey Collisions again, but if I or my friends have to, we know to come to Sam and we will be in the best hands. Took my Acura TL in to have the fender replaced. The estimate was 2 days to replace the fender. It took 9 days and instead of replacing the fender they repaired it. They took 9 days to repair the fender when they could have replace the fender like the estimate from the insurance company had. I wasn't called or text letting me know they were repairing the fender not replacing which would have probably took on 2 or 3 days to complete. I had to take the car back because of over spay paint on my door. You can't tell that the fender was damaged but I would have rather had the fender replaced rather than repaired. It cost the same as the insurance estimate for a new fender plus I wasn't paying for the repairs the insurance company was. I wasn't given the choice. I will be really pissed if the insurance company doesn't cover the 7 day I had the rental car. I probably wouldn't use Lindsay again. read more

Lindsay were great a couple of years before, but I don't recommend this business anymore due to my recent experience with them. First, they charged more than double from first assessment, without my permission. I was a bit surprised when I received final bill but signed on it because I heard that adjuster from my insurance agreed on the amount and my deductable was the same. From initially $1,400, it shot up to $3,700. Paint and other repair job was prime as I expected. However, repair time was unexpectedly long and after finishing job, while returning home, I found that my car was very different in breaking. It look like they did not test drive after all the job done. I felt really dangerous to drive my car to my home. Because it was end of the day, right before closing time, I had my daughter to drive my car to the Lindsay the next day and have them to test drive again. First time, Lindsay refused to fix it becuase it may not related to the original claim. But how could it not related after finishing $3,700 amount of job done on collision? How could they refuse to fix the brake issue if the brake condition is not the same as before accident? Because we changed front brake pad/rotor and replaced brake fluid about three months before, I insisted that the brake issue must be fixed because the car is not deemed as safe. After all, they provided a renter car again and have my car repaired for the break issue and several days later, my car's brake condition became normal. However, beware and have them know that you would not pay for the repair that you did not agree on. I'm concerning how much insurance premium would go up due to this incident. $3,700 is more than half of my car's residual value. read more

Had a great experience at Lindsay Collision Center (at least as good as one can have after being rear-ended necessitating auto body repair). Staff professional and operation efficient from beginning to end. Drove up and parked my car and an employee immediately greeted me at the door. Inside, Lindsay is very clean and looks more like an auto dealership than a repair shop. My car was brought into the garage, and damage was assessed and repairs discussed with me. Then I met with an auto insurance "middleman" who went over paperwork, gave me an estimated time frame for repairs, and explained that I should expect periodic updates. I rented a car through Enterprise which is located inside Lindsay. Enterprise staff was also professional and accommodating, and everything went smoothly. I was in and out of Lindsay is good time. Every 2-3 days I received a phone call with an update about the repair status. Originally, I was given a repair time frame of one week. However at one week I was informed that they were waiting for a part and it would be another couple days. They automatically extended the car rental. The car was then ready 2 days later as predicted and the car looked great!. I would highly recommend Lindsay for an efficient, professional repair process. read more

This is probably the best place I've ever taken my car...and I don't even have a luxury car from Lindsay Lexus or Cadillac! I have gone here multiple times in the past 4 years on a friend's recommendation to have repairs done to my car (mostly exterior damage repair, one major rust issue). I've been impressed with the quality of work, especially the paint work. The last time I took my car in they even fixed an alert light in my electrical panel (which I did not ask to have done!) and I did not get charged. It is the small touches from the staff, combined with the high quality and price, that make me recommend the Collision center. This kind of service is rare in the service industry . I brought my car in this summer the day before a massive storm that hit the NoVa area, leaving so many homes and businesses without power for days, and of course, damaged cars which made the body shop even busier. Although my repair issue was not urgent like some of the cars damaged in the storm, my car was done earlier than the estimated date. The woman who handled my claim (Kara?) was professional and I appreciated her multiple status update calls, even during the 4th of July weekend! I hope to not have to return with a damaged car, but if I need a repair I will certainly be back! read more
