I'm pretty frustrated with my recent experience at Line-X in Tucson. I requested a quote for the Premium bedliner and had the work done today, but when I picked up my truck, I discovered they hadn't done anything with the tailgate. I was then told it would cost an additional $150 or something like that was never communicated to me upfront. Had this been made clear from the beginning, I would have considered going to Phoenix instead, where the tailgate is included in the standard job and the overall cost would have been lower. I'm disappointed in the lack of communication and transparency, and I feel like I didn't receive the service I expected based on the original quote. I try to spend my money here in the Tucson market, but experiences like this make me question why I try so hard to keep my business local. read more

Again, completely satisfied with the bed cover, the price, the ease of scheduling and the execution of removing the old bed cover and installing the new bed cover. LINE-X of Tucson earned not 5 stars, but 10 STARS for a seamless and flawless experience. First, I conducted some research among factory spray-in bed coatings vs Rhino spray-in bed coatings and finally LINE-X coatings. It became very apparent from all of the online video channels that LINE-X stands head and shoulders above the rest. They offer standard, premium and platinum coatings and I chose their PREMIUM with UV protection as recommended since we live here...on Mars, er Tucson. Once that research was done, I had to investigate LINE-X of Tucson and decided it was worth a call and an online quote request. Online quoting process: 10 stars as it was simple & rapid after entering basic information about my vehicle. The phone call to confirm the online offer, ask more questions and potentially schedule the appointment: 10 stars again as Yasmine was polite, thorough, knowledgeable and very courteous. They were only a week out for an available time slot. More questions came to mind a few days later and this time, one of the owners (Maggie) answered the phone: ANOTHER 10 STARS! Maggie easily answered my additional questions regarding the estimated time it would take to complete the spray-in process of the short-bed in my pickup truck and other details I was concerned about. Murphy's law played a factor of course as I had a scheduling conflict of my-own-doing. When I called to reschedule, Yasmine and LINE-X of Tucson, AGAIN earned 10-stars as they were flexible AND accommodating, but this time with an attitude: YES, that's right and attitude.....A GREAT ONE! When I arrived, Yasmine did a vehicle inspection and asked if I had any other questions or areas of concern regarding my specific truck....talk about reassurance! THE STARS KEEP PILING UP. The estimated time to complete the process (less than 3 hours) was done as quoted, but slightly sooner. I rec'd a phone call when the project was finished and when I arrived to inspect the work, I was blown away. This time the other owner, (Ray) greeted me and walked me thru the finished project & the necessary curing time; 24 hours, (but said, "Hey you can take the truck thru a car wash as soon as you choose"). Ray also spent a considerable amount of time making sure I didn't have any additional questions about future care, warranty etc; Yep, RAY EARNED 10 STARS too. Now here's the meat & potatoes: QUALITY, FIT & FINISH and appearance of work? Outstanding! Overspray? NONE. CARE to my vehicle during the application? LOTS: So you know what's coming, then right? I own a 25 year old motorhome. It had extreme damage from the sun with the paint and clearcoat failing especially at the top around the entire perimeter and the front "cap". Ray and Marco at LINE-X on Fort Lowell Rd. did an amazing job to fix it and make it look fresh again! They matched the paint color beautifully and did a meticulous job of making off all of the areas that were not to be sprayed. The areas adjacent to the windows, lights, and trim look like a "factory edge" and the finish applied is uniform and robust now. I believe that between the two of them, they have about 40 years experience in their art. It shows...If you have considered repainting your RV to fix similar common issues, check out LINE-X and see what they can do for you. You will most likely find this to be a perfect solution to sun damage and typical front cap issues that most of us have on our RV's after years in the Arizona sun. I went through a dispute with this husband and wife team 12 months ago at Line-X and won the dispute. Flash forward 12 months and I get a letter from a collection agency for a different amount than was disputed. This Line-X location in Tucson cheats people out of their money. I came into their location for an estimate. I specifically took the owner outside to look at my truck because it had a trailer hitch in the bed of my truck. I wanted it out as I am a contractor and do not have a 5th-wheel. I said I wanted the hitch removed and then put a liner into the bed...and I also got a cover (that never really worked). I was quoted about a 2 hour turn-around. It took over 7 hours. I paid the bill before the truck was ready and sat in the office with no A/C. When the truck was finally released....the truck bed had 4 air pockets under the liner (so never adhered) and the hitch was still in the bed of the truck. I asked the owner what happened. He stated, "we do not do that." I said, "but I showed you and you still wrote me up.....why didn't you tell me this during the estimate?" He then stated, well you can just go and get it done somewhere else. That is when I stated that I will call my credit card company and dispute the charges. Everything went downhill from there. He gleefully stated...."I know where you live!" I then stated....now you are threatening me and my elderly Dad who lives with me. I called the local PD and they stated they cannot do anything about the situation. It took my bank 2 months for the dispute to be completed. The owners were sent a letter that they agreed to....and my money was promptly put back into my account. Flash forward 12 months.....now I get a collection letter for the same issue that was resolved 12 months prior. This affects my credit. I informed the collection agency that they are not being honest or forthright with you and that I intend on I sue them for fraudulent claims. I also told the collection agency, where are the photos and the dispute letter that was sent to these owners? They told me it is not up to them....rather up to me to prove I am correct. My bank went into their archives and found the actual letter that these idiots already agreed to. I will have the actual letter in about a week. The question is....should I even send to Line-X's collection agency or take them to court for fraudulent schemes? Do not ever use the Line-X location in Tucson. Give your hard earned money to a company who is honest. read more

They did an amazing job on my truck bed with a spray in liner. Looks perfect and will last a lifetime I'm sure.

My experience with this shop is they made me an appointment then didn't bother to tell me they didn't have the product until I showed up, so about a 75 mile round trip. Said they would take a little of my bill for the inconvenience but insisted they called me even though I showed them I had no missed calls from them at all. Couple days later I bring it in and they spray my truck. The lining was peeling from the fenders the moment they finished and they tried to brush it on, the color and texture didn't match. They refused to fix it and then further refused any discount from my day of travel they wasted. Their nice to you as long as there's no problem and their getting your money but don't expect and customer service beyond that! I wish I could add pictures to this review because their product speaks for its self and I show everyone that ask about the lining. I suggest Phoenix every time. I was able to attach photos and you can also see I asked that they prep the truck and not just paint over chips with rust or anything else and was assured they don't yet in the picture you can see the plastic on the rear corner panel painted over so my guess is they did no prep work! That's a $1000 job there for you. read more

They do bad work and then won't fix it correctly and even if you have an appointment they won't and don't get it all fixed then tell you to come back on certain day and time and then tell you they still can't get it done. Spent almost $5000.00 to get entire vehicle done and a lot of spots are bad because of bad prepping work. Yes that was five thousand dollars. read more

Everyone was friendly, and the job looked nice. It ran me almost $500 bucks last week to get it done. Tonight, I had a heavy load to pick up and it needed to be strapped down. Only after the load was put in the truck did I realize they forgot to put one of the tie down brackets back in. I couldn't drive the load without adequate strapping, so I had to unload it, and head back to the house for tools to tighten it. Also, I didn't want to have them put the plastic advertising logo in the bed of my truck. At first, they said they had to for warranty. But relented when I said I'd have to go elsewhere. They gave me the logo in an envelope which worked okay for me. read more
