    Spicy Pork Jerky
    Lily L.

Always a must visit spot on my list if I make it to Chinatown in the city early enough! I have been going to this place for their jerky for as long as I can remember. If use to be a lot easier because I use to go to the city a lot but I haven't had the chance to visit as much so I always make sure to pick up 1/4lb to 1/2lb each time (if not more). They have a variety of jerky's but no matter how many I try, I can't seem to get over the pork jerky's. They have both spicy and non spicy jerky's. The staff is always super sweet and quick with preparing your order and even though it is a small store, there usually isn't a lot of foot traffic so you don't usually have to squeeze inside in order to order. I definitely recommend for jerky lovers who are in this area since they make their jerky themselves!

I'd seen different posts with this place for quite some time and I just happened to be walking by and stopped in for snack. Spac.\nE itself is pretty small, like more than 3 people inside at a time would be a crowd. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. I'm glad I asked questions because every jerky they sell has pork in it except for the regular beef jerky. Yes, that means the chicken and the shrimp also contained pork. I tasted this delicious jerky and Wow! It was completely different than what I had from other cultures. It was so savory, sweet, tender, and almost little juicy.I'm not sure how they do it , but I must make this into a sandwich.

Wow - never new jerky could be so different and DELICIOUS!! Amazingly flavorful and chewy texture, and never would expect this. Try now!

They only sell jerky and it's pretty good. It's different from american jerky. Worth a try, but if you don't try it, you'll survive.

NYC Chinatown local store selling authentic Malaysian meat jerky. They sell all kinds! Spicy/Non-Spicy Pork Jerky, Spicy/Non-Spicy Beef Jerky, Shrimp Jerky, and Curry Beef Jerky! Seeing that now is Chinese New Year, they are also selling New Year Sticky cake n all sorts New Year cookies!

No matter which city I'm exploring, jerky has always been on my list to find. This tiny shop in Chinatown offers fresh, grilled jerky. This isn't your typical jerky which is normally dehydrated and dry. This shop offers juicy and tender grilled slabs of meat with a hint of sweetness and smokiness. For roughly $25 per pound. I'm glad I was able to haul back 4+ pounds for my family and friends back home. Worth every penny. A must visit in Chinatown, Manhattan.

If I lived in NYC I would hesitate to write a review as I would want all the jerky to myself. Yes, I don't want to share or have to wait for them to make more. Everyday they are making fresh jerky and sometimes they run out. One guy ordered 20 lbs, that's right 20 lbs and pretty much wiped them out of what they had. Hey we bought around 8 lbs ourselves and we are hauling them back to Hawaii. You may ask what's so special about this jerky??? This is Malaysian style jerky, it is not the hard tough jerky that most American's are used to that take a long time to chew and then you find the fat that doesn't ever break down and you either have to swallow or spit it out. This is tender, very soft and very flavorful jerky. You can get pork, beef, chicken, curry beef, or shrimp jerky. I don't know about the others (as they didn't have any when we went) but the pork and beef, you can get it either in regular or spicy. Don't worry the spicy isn't that spicy at all. It was kind of mild if you ask me. If you are traveling and taking the jerky with you like we are, they can vacuum seal it for you. It may not be the cheapest jerky, but it surely is one of the best that I have tried. You pay for what you get I say. BTW IT IS CASH ONLY, so bring your hard cold green backs or go to a ATM and withdraw your life savings and get some today!

Ask the Community - Ling Kee Beef Jerky

    Do they accept credit cards?

We do not accept credit cards. We accept cash and Venmo.

If vacuum sealed can it be stored at room temp?

The store employee told me that it must be stored in the fridge, since it's technically just grilled marinated meat and not cured meat.

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

"How 'bout there?" he responded pointing to Excellent Dumpling House. It was directly across the street. I pulled up Yelp, saw good reviews and readily agreed. At 3:30, the restaurant was empty. There were a few takeout orders, but we were the only people sitting down for late lunch. And y'know ... it was pretty good. Wonton soup is what I'd expect in Chinatown. Wonton wrappers were thin -- my preference -- the stuffing delicious and the broth flavorful. They were generous with the beef in our chow fun. Good, but the noodles needed a jolt. So I asked for soy sauce which was sort of a solution. Shrimp with vegetables was great. A lot of shrimp, too. There are lunchtime specials on weekdays, reasonable prices, and nice people work there. Next time it makes sense to try dumplings since it is, after all a dumpling house.

Located within the historic Chelsea Market building--a former Nabisco factory where Oreo cookies were first produced--the restaurant feels theatrical in the best possible way. The soaring ceilings, dramatic lighting, and energetic atmosphere create a sense of occasion from the moment you walk in. It feels less like simply going out to dinner and more like stepping into a beautifully staged production. I started with a Botanist Gin Martini with a twist, which paired wonderfully with the meal. The surprise star of the evening was the new Cucumber Tiger Salad. The balance of flavors was exceptional: bright acidity, a pleasant touch of heat, and just enough mint to make each bite feel fresh and exciting. Every so often the mint would come through and suddenly all the flavors would click together in a way that made me immediately want another bite. This is a dish I would happily order again. Next came the Edamame Dumplings. They were delicate and comforting, especially when enjoyed with the accompanying broth. The broth adds depth and richness that elevates the entire dish. My only suggestion would be the slightest touch more salt, perhaps even a finishing sprinkle of black volcanic salt for both flavor and presentation. I also found myself wishing there were a bit more of that delicious broth because it contributes so much to the overall experience. For my entrée, I ordered the Glazed Alaskan Black Cod, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The fish was rich, buttery, and perfectly prepared. What impressed me most was how thoughtfully the accompaniments were composed. The pickled cucumbers brought brightness, acidity, and crunch, while the black bean and eggplant relish delivered deep savory notes and unexpected complexity. I'm generally not an eggplant fan, but this relish was outstanding. The cucumbers and relish sit at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum, yet both somehow make the cod even better. Looking back, I think a glass of Sauvignon Blanc alongside the cod would have been the perfect pairing. I finished with the Miso Caramel Milk Bar, which was spectacular. Decadent, sweet, salty, and touched with just enough umami to keep every bite interesting. The chocolate crumble underneath added a wonderful crunch that contrasted beautifully with the creamy ice cream and luscious caramel sauce. Every component worked together perfectly, creating a dessert that was both indulgent and sophisticated. From start to finish, the meal felt polished, thoughtful, and memorable. Thank you!
