Service was 10/10!! Portions 11/10!! Can't recommend enough. Will be my go to AYCE sushi spot. Still recovering from food coma.

After arriving I waited for about 20 minutes to be seated even though there were 3 cleared tables. After being seated the table next to me told me they had been there for an hour and had only been helped once for the all you can eat. They were currently waiting for 20 minutes for their second order. I promptly left. They look like they need to hire about 3 more servers to handle the place. read more

I don't understand why they offer reservations when they don't even acknowledge them. The ambiance was terrible. Everyone at the tables looked upset since no one was getting served. It was very hectic and not my cup of tea. I can't speak on the food yet. But to be frank, I don't have high expectations for an AYCE sushi spot. I do see a lot of people to just sitting around waiting then just leaving since it took long. I watched a table get seated and wait 10 minutes before a menu was dropped off.. It was so good we ate it before we could get any pictures. Some of the best rolls we have gotten at an all you can eat Restaurant. Comparable to some of our regular sushi spots, and at the price, this will be a new regular spot for us. Everyone was so nice to our 3 month old baby. We definitely didn't leave hungry. read more

I've been waiting to try this all you can eat place for a while!! The upside is that they don't have a tier system, so you can order sashimi and other premium products without paying high tier. We were able to order oysters and blue fin o toro which becomes worth the AYCE price as it is. The staff was very friendly, however there were several times where they took our order and it was never put in or they forgot to make it. So a lot of waiting in between checking on us. There was a big party there taking up most of the attention so I can be understanding, but not a lot of other people were even dining in there (we arrived around 3:30 pm). So to be honest it kind of felt like we were forgotten about most of the time we were dining. Didn't seem to have a ton of waiting staff, and the sushi chefs were working their tails off but something felt a little unorganized since our orders kept getting forgotten. Don't really know what that was about, but they did make one of our forgotten rolls to go which was nice. I might change my rating once I try it again if we receive service a little more timely next time. Food quality was really good for AYCE tho. I love this all you can eat restaurant!! There's a wide selection of chinese & japanese food. All of the staff are friendly, attentive and work with a sense of urgency. The restaurant is very clean and organized. Theres a flat screen tv over the sushi bar and colorful banners. Our server was very kind and made sure we had everything we need. I wasn't expecting much from yet another AYCE sushi restaurant in Roseville. The competition is really heating up for the sushi enthusiasts. This restaurant lacks in variety as compared to others in the area. The nigiri selection pales to the others, but what impressed me the most was the freshness and portions of the nigiris. The slices would be more in line with non-AYCE sushi bars. I was expecting smaller cuts of fish, like the competition, but quickly noticed that I over ordered. The waitress warned me the nigiris are larger here, because she works at another AYCE sushi restaurant that I also patronize. The only nigiri that tasted frozen was the mackerel. The kitchen items were ok. The stuffed jalapeno is worth mentioning, while the fried fish tasted like Gorton's frozen fish from the grocery store. The vegetable tempura is mediocre at best, but the takoyaki balls were good. I tried 2 baked rolls that they were nice enough to make it in half rolls. The Lion King and Bay Island are exactly the same except for one has salmon the other has scallops for the topping. It was way too much sauce for me to enjoy, but will try other rolls next time I'm here. I contemplated on ordering the dinner menu for lunch, but the nigiris were the same for lunch. Service was fast and there was enough help where you didn't wait long for anything. I probably wouldn't eat here for dinner because there's no salmon roe, quail egg, sweet shrimp, salmon belly offered for dinner nigiris. Most of their competitors do offer it, so there are option. Come here if you want sushi bar quality nigiris, otherwise everything else on the menu is just average. read more

Found this gem near my hotel during my Sacramento visit - what a discovery! Lin's Garden has completely elevated the all-you-can-eat sushi experience. Yes, it's pricier than those Chinese buffets with mediocre sushi on the side, but the quality here is superb. Everything is made to order - no food sitting under heat lamps. Waiters constantly circulate with tablets to take orders, and the food arrives quickly and fresh. The menu variety is excellent: salads, soups, appetizers, chow mein, sushi, rolls, plus ice cream for dessert. The sushi pieces are quite large, and they offer half-size rolls which lets you sample multiple varieties without overdoing it. Unique touch: several rolls feature lemon and mango that create a distinctive, delicious flavor. Don't miss the Tsunami Roll and House Roll - both outstanding! The restaurant is extremely clean, and service is exceptional. Attentive without being intrusive. Is this the best sushi in America? No. But for the combination of price, quality, and service, it absolutely deserves 5 stars. This is all-you-can-eat done right. Really hope they succeed - they've nailed the concept! read more

We stopped in after painting some pottery next door and saw that they were having their grand opening. We waited a few minutes to be seated and eventually were given menus. The food was good - about what you'd expect at an all you can eat sushi place. The portions were good as they give you a full roll. They are definitely a little disorganized as far as service. We ordered three rolls to start and when they brought them out they tried to give them to the table next to us. I asked if they were ours and she said no but then that table said they didn't order them so she turned around and gave them to us. We waited for a while for the baked roll I ordered in the beginning. I saw them come out with three baked rolls and again went to the table next to us and gave all of them to that table. I asked again if one was ours because I ordered the same one. And I could hear the table saying they didn't order that many and were confused. The server came over after a few minutes and said that she knew why I brought it up and she gave them our roll. I'd be able to look over that but it happened for all of our rolls where I had to ask for them. At that point I was frustrated enough and turned down their offer to make another one as I didn't want to wait for another 20+ minutes when we were already finished. They get the second star for being kind and giving my niece a free marble drink before all that happened. I don't live in the area so I won't be back anyway. But they definitely need to work on their organization and service. read more

I wish I took more photos but my toddler hijacked it half my dinner time -.- anywho, I want to start off by saying I came here on a Thursday night, pouring rain. When we first arrived, we were greeted and immediately sat down. The restaurant is very clean and the place is spacious. Thank goodness! It sucks eating and constantly bumping into people. I know there have been alot of complaints regarding service and such , but I have also noticed it's during The Weekends when they post about their experience. Our service tonight was great. Our Waitress, Kim, was very helpful, upbeat, friendly, attentive, kind, and checked on us several times. I was also informed that the restaurant is fairly new so they are still getting the hang of things (may also be why the service is slower during weekends). The food was delicious. The variety was extraordinary. The quality was impeccable. Ayce raw oysters? Are you kidding me? Someone please tell me which restaurant in Sacramento does ayce oysters or Otoro sashimi?!?! I was mind blown because not only can you do ayce sashimi and oysters BUT it's $36.99/person. That price point is insane. (Kids under 4 eat free). I'm just wowed by this establishment. They also offer Chinese food, however I solely came tonight for their sushi and I was not disappointed. Overall, I consider myself an avid sushi lover and I wholeheartedly rate this place a 10/10. This place is awesome! I seen it on TikTok and my sister's birthday was coming up so we decided to go there for the all you can eat and it was a 10/10!! The service was outstanding the food delicious food presentation 20/10! The only thing that was lacking was the dessert they have ice cream 3 flavors C,V,S but it's in plastic little containers with the little wooden spoons and with how everything else was so beautifully presented this just fell short I wish they had fried sesame seed balls. Overall I HIGHLY recommend Lin's Garden 10/10 and we'll definitely be back again!! read more

All you can eat was offered but they want to limit what you order, my husband and I went the other day, we ordered total of 6 dishes, 2 main dishes and 4 appetizers but the waitress stopped me when I ordered sushi, she said I can order more later. When I ordered sushi(it was just 2 sushi rolls) we literally waited for 45 minutes. She should have let me ordered from the start if they would take that long to prepare the sushi.
