Although it looks like a cake, I don't really know what it is. Next is some shrimp or prawns & I don't know what the other two are

It was really amazing. Beautifully decorated very helpful where the staff. The salmon was out of this world. I also had some of the bake seafood casserole. That was very delicious. I had some of the mushrooms and the fried shrimp that was very good. one of the ladies got some kind of chicken or something and she said it was really spicy but she ate it. She said it tasted so good. We really enjoyed ourselves. The ice cream machine was broke. All you could get was chocolate that it was delicious. I also got a cream puff. I don't know if anyone else in the group got dessert.

Food was good like usual today, but the service was sorely lacking. Half way through my meal before I got my soda and never got a refill. Hoping this was a one off, not a new standard!

Food

Our family made a special trip out to Lin's Grand Buffet on a Wednesday night, and while the restaurant was busy, there was plenty of seating available. The menu offers a wide variety of Chinese dishes and some seafood, though the sushi was fairly basic and the dessert station consisted mostly of thawed frozen items and canned fruits. They do have a Mongolian grill and a steak station, but since both were manned by a single chef, the wait for a made-to-order steak was quite long and ultimately not worth the delay. While the pricing is fair for an "all you can eat" experience, the restrooms were in need of a deep cleaning and a serious upgrade. Overall, it's a decent, basic Chinese buffet if you are already in the neighborhood, but I wouldn't recommend driving out of your way for it when compared to other AYCE options.

Me, I do not have a photo of this restaurant in my phone.

The food is great, service is quick, and ambiance is nice. I have only done takeout! Please search this restaurant and if ever near by know dining in or taking out, I personally like the food.

So cool at night!

So Janna and I came here for the first time at 7pm on a Friday night, they were so busy. I couldn't believe how long the line was, we were a party of 2 and the hostess to us to stay close by, we waited maybe 3 mins to be seated. The Choices, wow just wow, they had so many choices. I made the mistake of filling up my plate as I went. My plate was pretty full before I made it half way through their selections. I didn't even see the back row that had a sushi bar, steak bar, and a Mongolian Grill Bar before we were leaving. This place was craziness, the waitress/waiters that we had were exceptional, they must have had 20 tables and they stayed in top of everything. This place is great, the service was good and the food was good. The organization they have to have to pull this off is amazing! We'll be back!

The food was Mediocre. Some of the food was very good, and some was not so good. For the price, it's not bad. The restaurant was pretty large, and had decent ambiance. We had fast service, but after about 30 minutes of eating here, it felt like we were being rushed to leave. I would eat here again to give it another chance, but I would rather drive a little farther to the harbor seafood super buffet in phoenix.

The only place that I like for crab fish because it boil with jalapeño and not oily!

Ask the Community - Lin's Grand Buffet

What are your current prices for dinner?

About $16-17. Weekday lunch is the best deal at $13 and change! Read my review. Call them for exact prices!

Is it still buffet?

Yes it is still a buffet! From providing hand-sanitizing stations to supplying you with disposable plates and flatware, we’ve taken every possible precaution to welcome you back to our buffet safely.

Do they have early bird pricing?

No.

Do they always have steak as an option to eat?

Yes at the dinner time, everyday

What is the price for a single adult?

I believe we pay $14-15 a person on the weekend. Lunch on weekdays is cheaper. $2.50 more for a drink.

Whats the price to eat here? Are drinks included?

Drinks are not included, couple dollars extra with free refills. The price goes up on weekends & evenings. I believe we pay $14 a person usually, and totally worth it for the selection. There is a lower kids price too as I recall.

It's probably the fanciest Chinese restaurant I've been to in AZ. The lunch menu is excellent and quite impressive! There are 8 entrees to choose along with a side for only $20. What's crazy is that a full size seafood and wagyu beef belly jjampong is a side! They're regularly $24 so it's a crazy deal to get an additional entree!! We ordered seafood jjampong and wagyu beef jjampong as sides and genghis khan beef and chili garlic fried chicken as mains. The jjampong had that great umami taste without the oiliness that's unavoidable at other restaurants. The ingredients felt very premium and fresh. Ghengis khan beef pieces were very generous and tender with a savory sauce. Chili garlic chicken was a tad salty for me but had great crisp. Service was impeccable and one you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes from the lunch menu. I also want to try their happy hour that's available everyday from 4-7PM. All the food items are only $7 and variety looks amazing.

They come with your entree, soup, chow mein, rice, a crab ragoon, and an egg roll. I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp and it was delicious. It had a slight kick, bit it wasn't too spicy. To be clear, I am a New Yorker and know good fast Chinese food. The ambiance was promising. It looked like I was finally going to find what I've been looking for in Phoenix for years. For whatever reason, Chinese restaurants in Arizona serve egg hockey pucks and cover it with various items and call it egg foo young. I even asked about it before I ordered it. Alas when I got home and saw what I had, I was disappointed. It's faster to make it this way but the egg hockey puck had no taste - zero. They could have at least added oyster sauce, a little soy sauce, maybe nam plah, and perhaps sesame oil. It was tasteless. A complete miss. I also ordered something simple, shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious! I inhaled them and will order them again. I'd go again just for the spring rolls. Maybe they have other dishes that are good and I may not entirely give up but the egg foo young is a no go.

Gotta support local when you can I say! The menu is pretty basic and has all your typical options for Americanized Chinese food. Wanting to get something that had noodles in it, I opted for the combination #1 which has chow mein crispy noodles, pork fried rice, and two tempura shrimp. Quite a lot of food and for a very reasonable price! I think the combo was around $10. If you are a fan of bean sprouts, this is your place. The chow mein had a massive pile of beansprouts on top. The noodles were indeed crispy but they was such a meager portion compared to the beansprouts. The fried rice was pretty basic but also a generous portion and the two tempura shrimp had a nice crispy batter. I tried some of the eggroll too which is one of the most unique versions I've had since the super crispy outer layer was either a different preparation or different wrap material than I'm used to. The interior was made primarily of beansprouts too. Service was good. Our food was prepared fairly quickly.

It's a small plate type of restaurant and we tried 5 different ones: 1-egg noodles with pork belly...delicious!!! I would love to have a bag of these and just eat them like chips while watching TV...LOL! 3-stir-fry bok choy with tofu in a garlicky sauce...one of our biggest surprises of the evening! What a wonderful way to eat your greens, along with the most flavorful tofu I've ever had. (We actually ordered it twice.) 4-scallop crudo with garlic and lemon sauce...refreshing! I'm not a big scallop person, but these were so fresh and so good! 5-fried chicken with a sweet/savory dipping sauce...very good! The chicken came like wings, very crispy and juicy. Everything we had was incredible! Unfortunately, I'm allergic to curry and mango, so our choices were somewhat limited. I'm just glad we were able to find these dishes that were so awesome. The only downside is the parking. It's street parking, but there are a bunch of apartments all around, so the spots were very limited. There are some pay parking lots, but they're pretty far from the restaurant. Hubby drove around and did find a spot about a block and a half down a side street. But, to be honest, it was a nice little walk back to the car after eating. What a fun time and a delectable experience!!
