Stopped by Liquid Bean after a hike at Torrey Pines for some caffeine and a refreshing açaí bowl! I ordered an iced oat chai latte and a crunchy açaí bowl with no coconut. The woman working there was very friendly and had our order our in no time. There are some small tables with seats around, as well as the outdoor greenery area you can sit at. The chai was okay; I prefer something stronger in spice generally. The açaí bowl was delicious though and hit the spot! It is located in an office plaza (?), so location isn't ideal, but if you're around, this is a great spot for a quick bite or drink! read more

Liquid Bean Cafe is the best coffee shop in Del Mar and likely North County. It's hidden in a quaint garden at a business park and the coffee, açaí bowls, and other food/drinks are delicious. The setting is perfect for reading, journaling, or just meeting friends. I've even seen yoga classes here and sometimes live music to continue to build a community. I love this place and stop by as much as I can. read more

This hidden gem is ultra cute. Nestled within a business park just beyond the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Liquid Bean pours great caffeinated sips and yummy acai bowls. When I found this spot online, I wasn't expecting a cart outdoor however the girls and I had a relaxing weekend lounging in their zen inducing garden while enjoying our peanut butter acai bowls. Overall it was nice and I would definitely return if I'm already in the area. read more

I took my kiddos here a few months ago while we were visiting. What a little gem tucked away between office buildings. The stand it's self is in a great spot with large trees for shade. The gal working the stand was very pleasant and the coffee was delish! My kiddos got açaí bowls and were very happy with them. They are a sorbet açaí, I prefer blended but that's just a personal preference. This spot is worth a stop! read more

come to this cute little coffee shack!! the workers are so friendly, talkative, and really care about making sure you get the drink you want. i ordered an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and it was flavorful and perfect!! the bakery items looked great too, especially the muffins! the larger size iced latte was $6.50 which i don't think is too outrageous for a small business in socal! quick walk to the beach, cute seating, great workers, and delicious drinks! read more

The only reason I'm giving them a 4 is because the burrito was smaller than I'm used to. I'm Mexican, so I was thinking BuRRito(roll the R) My wife got the açaí bowl with peanut butter and loved it. I got the sausage burrito. No complaints in flavor, it was delicious. 4/5. You need to be too 5 to get a 5 from me lol Customer service: The lady was very welcoming and kind. 10/10 visit this place if you're a coffee person visiting. I love to try coffee when I go to new places and decided to try them while waiting for an appointment in the area. The coffee was the perfect coffee flavor, not burnt tasting and not fruity. And I was given the option to get coffee ice cubes rather than normal ones, I've never seen this done before, but I love it! Coffee ice cubes don't dissolve as quickly as normal cubes. SD staple, happened to run into this quaint cafe as we were headed home to LA. This was the perfect spot to have a delicious breakfast burrito and some coffees and a matcha latte. The cart is set up in its own little world. A must try for any traveler or SD native. read more

Great lil spot by my gym in Del Mar. It's a coffee stand but they choose the very best of brands and then keep an assortment of things to choose from like, VG's donuts, Kombucha drinks, Kind bars, tuna sandos on pumpernickel, breakfast burritos and lunch burritos. Two words... COFFEE CUBES!! ugh they make the coffee delicious, you can ask for coffee cubes instead of ice cubes and it makes such a big difference. Instead of your coffee getting watery as you drink it with regular ice, it actually gets stronger and it taste so good! I get an Iced coconut/vanilla latte with oat milk and coffee cubes, it's simply the best. Love this place so much I actually drive down from Oceanside to get it. This place is soooo adorable! It is a hidden gem definitely worth going to! I had the matcha latte and the veggie breakfast burrito and both couldn't have been better! I can't give it 5 stars because it wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting a cafe and it is a stand. The açaí bowl was good but it was a little chilly that day so I couldn't enjoy it as much because we we're sitting outside and I was cold. I would recommend on the basis that the bowl was good but if you are expecting a sit in cafe that it is not. read more

This place is amazing! I got a turkey club wrap and OMG!!!!! It tasted so fresh and healthy. For my drink I got a lavender matcha with oat milk and I would totally recommend. The the mix of lavender and matcha is perfect. My friend got an iced vanilla latte with ESPRESSO CUBES like always it was amazing. Nothing too strong or too sweet. Definitely will be coming back!!! This place is really charming! The menu was pretty large for the tiny "kitchen" the staff works in. Coffees, smoothies, and quick breakfast/brunch foods - everything was very delicious! The outside garden area is also quaint. I was really impressed! When I'm in the area next, I will definitely be stopping by for some breakfast. I highly recommend! Great coffee. Such a beautiful setting in Del Mar. Little garden area with tables spread out. Dog friendly. No ocean view but you get the train passing by. Açaí bowls were delicious. I go here everyday. I work nearby and have tried most things. Everything is super yummy. The espresso drinks are superb but my favorite is the cold brew with coffee cubes. Very cute spot. I got one of the acai bowls & it was super yummy. Only downside is it's pretty pricey for the portion - is a little small, i.e not enough base & granola. I would still come back though to try the other bowls & their coffee! read more

I am new to the area and went exploring for some good coffee. Not only did I find some GREAT coffee (or in this case, Iced Dirty Chai), I also discovered this hidden gem in Del Mar worth driving, walking, cycling, or meandering to! Lisi creates a perfect blend of an open air casual setting with a cool vibe and menu! Great touches on both the drink menu and food menu and even great music in the background! They open around 10 AM on Saturdays (and typically around 8 AM on weekdays), and even right at opening there were already a lot of people waiting. My friend and I were still able to get in and out pretty quickly around 10. I ended up getting their mango passion base along with açaí. For toppings, I loaded it up strawberries, bananas, apples, blackberries, blueberries they truly have so many options. I also love their variety of nuts, seeds, and different types of nut butters. They really don't skimp on choices. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by. I was SO full after, and honestly, you could even split a bowl with a friend because they pack it generously. It's about $12 for a normal medium-sized bowl, which I think is worth it for the portion and quality. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. I guess it's a "cleaner" option than traditional ice cream but I would not consider this to be healthy. It was a refreshing treat, however.
