Stopped in this Thursday morning shortly after opening and were seated immediately on the patio. Beautiful sunshine and Gulf Blvd views. As midwesterners we loved dining al fresco on the patio in October. Our server Eddie took great care of us. Prompt, friendly service. I came here by recommendation of a friend while visiting the area for a few days. I ordered myself an uber from Bilmar on my first morning for breakfast right at 9:00am, I wasn't even sure if they were officially open when I poked my head inside, confirming with the hostess that they were open and she got me set up with a table. The hostess, also my server was pleasant with a bubbly upbeat personality. As a first timer, I attentively listened as she provided an overview of the restaurant and menu. I was surprised by the cinder block walls being painted black, but they had family photos hanging and the tables/chairs were not flashy. The overall atmosphere I would describe as casual. Starting off my vacation, I knew I wanted to treat myself with an alcoholic beverage and decided on the mango bellini, which was pretty good, my meal however was pure perfection!!! I ordered the Irish Benedict and it was out of this world!!! English muffin, corned beef hash, eggs, smothered in hollandes sauce-OMG!!! This meal was exceptional. It was so hard for me not to give 5 stars and the only reason I didn't was because I thought things were a bit overpriced. My food alone was $24 and frankly I think that is waaaaayyyyyy too much. The Eggs Benedict with Crab Cakes was a decadent treat, and the Biscuits and Gravy, especially paired with their unforgettable Corned Beef Hash, was equally satisfying. Seriously, that Corned Beef Hash was so good I had to order a second helping! The Crab Cakes were also top-notch. The only slight snag in an otherwise perfect meal was the unexpected $5 charge for a side of hollandaise sauce I requested because the cooks wouldn't put it on the food for me. Overall, Lisa's is a fantastic spot in Madeira Beach for incredibly fresh and delicious breakfast, and the friendly service (especially from Lisa!) truly adds to the charm. We arrived earlier than our hotel allowed for check in and we desperately needed some food after an early flight. As we drove down the beach, we noticed Lisa's and stopped in. My daughter had opted to catch some zzz's in the car while me and a friend went in to eat. Everything looked good. The menu stated nothing could be modified. As someone with allergies, this always makes me nervous but I was able to find a dish (eggs any way you want). It was good paired with a lemonade basil vodka. A neighboring table convinced us to try. My friend had the biscuits and gravy and really enjoyed it. You can't get to go orders (was hoping for my daughter) but you can order a meal that they will box up for you. Felt it was slightly strange especially since I was eating in, but ok. It all worked out. The reason for 3 stars is because the service was really poor. I noticed this isn't abnormal which is such a shame. When I return, I'll probably opt for other choices in the area that provide better service. read more

Our food was amazing. However, the elderly foursome next to us sat down outside and the sun was too hot. They moved to the next table and the hostess tore into them and said they had to leave or sit at the first table. The lady explained she had lupus and could not take the sun. The foursome tried to explain but the hostess would t have it. It was painful to watch kind people being treated that way. Then later they tried to give her feedback and she still was firm on her decision. Wasn't understanding that this should have been an exception. She continued to say it cost too much money to resanatize a table. It took more time for her to make sure she was heard than for her to be kind, understanding and just move them and re sanitize the table. Lisa was so rude and unaccommodating to us that I can't honestly tell you how the food is. After being told we could not move our table from the chilly shade into the sun when so many tables were available, set us back a bit. However, we decided to stay and didn't leave until my wife ordered her Eggs.Benedict and they refused to put the sauce on the side. We had just been delivered coffee to our table and had not tasted it at all when our server almost in tears apologized for the way, this restaurant is run.. I offered to pay for the coffee as we left beause it certainly wasn't the server's fault. She said we shouldn't worry payingforthecoffeewe didn't drink. Lo and behold a few minutes later, as we were backing out of the parking lot, Lisa came running out demanding almost $10 for these two cups of coffee, then refusing to put them in carry out cups. It was almost like we were on Candid Camera It was so ludicrous. This woman was so rude and obnoxious that I would tell people not only to not go there but to tell others to not go there as well. It was not a surprise that the restaurant was less than 25% occupied when all of this happened. Kudos to the server for keeping her composure, even during this unbelievable experience. read more

Distinct margarine/oil taste on the muffin and the ham (not Canadian bacon but the like the squared off packet ham from Piggly Wiggly). The eggs themselves tasted ok (I did eat one) but more like a seven minute boiled egg than poached. Hollandaise sauce - possibly/probably courtesy of a Knorr packet. Ok now you know I am obsessed with Eggs Benedict. The hash brown potatoes I sampled tasted good but cooked yesterday. Not much fresh in this place. My husband enjoyed his meal except overcooked bacon. The visit ended with a loud, snide 'have a nice day' comment from the owner. Meant to embarrass me. We did enjoy the initial ambiance with the lit torches and black interior paint - we thought we had made it to the final of Survivor :) I do want to give credit to our Server, he was very good and he deserves credit for his work and great attitude. read more

So good! The sausage had a nice kick to it and the biscuit was so fluffy. I had the western omelette. So fresh. The green peppers and onions popped with freshness. I also had a side of the corned beef hash. So flavorful. My toast was a little over done but that was ok. Deb had a crab cake. Lots of great flavors there too. A very enjoyable spot for brunch. "From Scratch" Being greeted immediately as we sat, we were informed that their kitchen is from scratch, no bags, no cans, no freezer! Only fresh food and they proved it. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, lightest fluffiest biscuit I've ever eaten, and if it's on the menu, I will order it at every restaurant I go to. Delicious homemade gravy season to perfection. Also ordered the Irish eggs, Benedict, with the corn beef, hash, and home fries, which again tasted delicious and was prepared with skill and talent.
