Was in NYC for work and as luck would have it, they had a special that I couldn't resist! I have already missed their Ube and Black sesame flavors before which I am kind of beating myself about so I didn't want to miss my chance at their Coconut Pandan Pastéis de Natas and Soft serve! There is absolutely nothing basic about their natas or their soft serves! So many textures and flavors: most dominant were of course coconut, pandan kaya jam, fresh pineapples, and toasted coconut flakes! I also tried their Pistachio flavor but the Coconut Pandan was clearly better. My only qualm was that the natas were quite goey and runny - which hasn't been my experience with Portugese egg tarts elsewhere. As soon as I bit in one of them, it completely fell apart and the entire filling just fell out. I like them a just a little firm - enough to easily bite into while keeping the pastry structure intact, if that makes sense. Otherwise, amazing flavors all around. The mango coconut matcha drink was somehow extremely sour - unsure why and if it is supposed to be like that but I couldn't drink it at all.

I had their pasteis de nata back when Lisbonata was at Smorgasburg, before they opened their brick-and-mortar store in Crown Heights. Now they keep dropping wild seasonal flavors like mango sticky rice, dubai chocolate, and ube cheesecake. But this limited-time black sesame menu felt like it was made for me!! *Black sesame pastel de nata $5.5 The figs add a burst of sweetness, while the burnt honey brings out the roasted, nutty black sesame with a toasty caramel note. The custard is literally overflowing! *Black sesame soft serve $12 Sweet, jammy figs are such a good match for the nutty black sesame flavored soft serve. I've never seen a black sesame + fig combo before and it worked surprisingly well. *Black sesame latte $8 They even have a black sesame latte with rich black sesame paste swirled in! It's more coffee-forward but you can still taste the black sesame.

The corn detail is really artful!

This is tucked northeast of Brooklyn's Prospect Park! I ordered the Colorado out of their selection of Breakfast Burrittoes and really enjoyed the much needed protein after a run with friends. Their pastries are artful and the vibe is very appropriate for a peaceful morning. Their service is quick, and I'm told they started at the farmer's market at Prospect Park and now have their own location. Loved my experience this morning!

INSANEEE egg tarts omg, I had the weekly special flavor black sesame, and it was so good. The exterior is SO crispy, with a delicious creamy center. They have such creative flavors (and rotating weekly and monthly specials). I want to try their drinks and soft serve too! There is a bit of seating outside, but you order at a takeout window. The staff are kind.

Came to try the soft serve specials. I got passionfruit cheesecake. It was freaking fantastic. I'll def b back to try the natas!

Service: 4.4/5 Food: 4.8/5 Price: $4.50-5.50 each Definitely a fair weather activity, considering it's literally a pick-up window with a few outdoor tables + a bench. The rest of their storefront consists of large windows looking into the kitchen, letting you watch the bakers make your treats. The short line + friendly staff made ordering a breeze! Clarifying point for all the Asians! These are pasteis de natas, meaning crispy, flaky pastry crusts + runny custard fillings. + in Lisbonata's case, the crust is slightly burnt, giving a charred flavor + the custard is literally flowing out of the pastry. They're not your typical Portuguese egg tarts! Additionally, they partner with another small business to sell burritos, which I didn't try because I already ate + they were sold out. Not sure if this is just a weekend thing. What I Ordered: - original: perfectly runny, not too sweet, could consume many - yuzu: really refreshing + unexpectedly good - pistachio cream: my taste buds did not catch any pistachio, but my friend was impressed; crushed topping adds a chewy texture - salted caramel: as a standalone, good balance, but if you're eating multiple, it becomes too sweet, extra runny sauce - belgian chocolate: perfect amount of chocolate - mango sticky rice: best incorporation of this flavor i've tried. custard takes a backseat, could use more mango

    Tiramisu soft serve

Seriously disappointed with my experience here after seeing other reviews. My friends and I were excited about the soft serve. We got the tiramisu and it is very pricey for a very simple cup of average vanilla soft serve with some toppings to make it look fancy but doesnt add much in flavor. Giving them 2 stars because supposedly the pastries are great but the ice cream is a major disappointment. Nice ambiance but long wait in line

Lisbonata is a small to-go window, offering different flavors of pastis de nata, from raspberry to yuzu, salted caramel to Belgian chocolate. I tried the tart with pistachio filling. The base was flaky and layered, the filling oozing with custard. The textures were certainly accurate to the egg tarts originating in Lisbon. (And I can say that with certainty as someone who's been there myself!) The pistachio flavor came through strongly, and although that's the whole point of it, I found that the flavor wasn't for me, wishing, in the end, that I had stuck to the original instead. Nonetheless, that's more a matter of preference and doesn't speak to the quality of these well-executed tarts. I invite anyone within the area to try Lisbonata. It certainly took me back to my time in Portugal.

Love this spot! Ube cheesecake special was incredible. Also loved the yuzu flavor and passionfruit and ruby chocolate special. Original was also solid though I think Joey bats does a better one. Will be back for more special flavors!

Tried the two special egg tart flavors they had and I enjoyed them both. They were a bit too runny when I got them, so not sure if they were supposed to be like that or if it was just too hot that day but still thought the flavors were delicious. Fast service but would recommend going early because it does get busy!

Went to try the coconut Pandan soft serve and it was pretty goood not too bad ... not the best Pandan ice cream I had but pretty decent .. not overly too sweet .. will come back try other flavors

I'm rarely impressed by desserts but these were soooo good, probably the best Portuguese tarts I've had. Crust is perfectly thin and crisp. Gets a bit messy but worth it. Line looked a bit crazy on Saturday around 2:30pm but it actually moved pretty fast.

    Vivian L.

Quick service but the pasteis de nata was very underwhelming. I ordered the chai flavor and it was undercooked so the custard was falling out of the tart. It was also ice cold when I got it, and I ate it right outside the shop. There's some seating outside and a window for pickup. Not a great pasteis de nata and def not worth a trek

I asked if there was any way to fix this, and right away, the hostess brought us to another table with a much better view of that magnificent manhattan skyline and river. Then the food. Omg the food. We each ordered our main, after which they bring out an enormous tray of all these lovely nibble salads, pickles, dips, and pita. I don't eat wheat, and haven't my entire life, so I usually don't say anything about it if it seems to me the place doesn't cater to that sort of restriction. The server noticed however, and offered sliced cucumbers for the dips. Such a lovely detail, brava. Did I mention how deeeeeeeelicious everything was? Hubby had the steak shishlika which was perfectly tender and charred at once. I had the chicken shishlika which was good, but not the wow of the steak. Each and every salad, dip, pickle etc was perfectly spiced, cooked, presented. The nuances were just right. Nothing too precious or sideways. Just honest, well built yummy food. And the fries. You MUST get the fries. We ordered the tahini ranch along with the tahini catsup. In my opinion, that wasn't necessary. But if you're a ranch lover, go for it. Then the dessert! Soft serve with a cherry reduction and some kind of flourless chocolate brownie... I don't need to say more. The service was excellent. The food delicious.
