I can't lie, based on the reviews this place had I was excited to try it. The food was not cheap, but I was willing to give it a try. Unfortunately my sesame chicken is some of the worst I've ever had. The chicken is extremely chewy, stringy, and not very flavorful. I've had lots of sesame chicken. The egg roles taste... old? Idk they aren't good. The rice is also bland and it all just feels like it's been sitting somewhere for a while before it was served even though the menu says it's cooked to order. The staff was fine. They seemed exhausted and not very happy to be there but they were nice enough. I got my order to go so I can't speak much for the vibes of the restaurant but it's nothing to write home about. Maybe this place used to be great, idk, the reviews definitely made it seem like it would be much better than it was. I'd recommend going elsewhere. read more

This is my pick for New England style Chinese food in East Boston. Great on the classics of NE style e.g. crab rangoon, boneless spare ribs, lobster sauce etc. They also do a great Singapore noodle, salt and pepper wings. One negative is that they don't use Chinese veggies, it's just basic bell peppers, cabbage and onions. Delivery around Eastie has been faster than expected. They usually say 45min but deliver in 30min. The restaurant is fine, focus is on people at the bar playing Keno and gambling. Great place to hang if you're single and want to watch a sports game and chat with townies. This place is an East Boston staple. I've been eating here since 1997. Really pleasantly surprised with this place. It was a busy Friday night, but we were seated immediately. There is a bar inside, so the atmosphere is a little loud, but we were seated toward the back of the restaurant and were unbothered. The atmosphere is lacking in decor and pretty casual, so it's great for an easy dinner and I imagine it would be good for lunch as well. Upon being seated, we were brought waters and hot tea without having to ask. The menu is extensive and everyone is bound to find something they like! They have appetizers, drinks, chicken, beef, seafood, and vegetarian options. My boyfriend and I both ordered General Gau dishes (chicken for him and tofu for me). The tofu was crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside, which is really hard to do! The broccoli portion was small, but the protein portions were huge and we both ended up with leftovers. Huge bang for your buck, as our bill was under $30 for both of us. Service was fine; we never had trouble tracking down someone, and we felt like we were in & out in a timely matter. Parking is a challenge, but it's easily accessible by foot if you take the T to Orient Heights. They also deliver! Overall, good food at a good price with huge portions. We've supported even before Covid and couldn't be happier given their quick delivery. The mai Tais are delish. They will customize orders except for the combination platters. We order both Chinese food and sushi and the 1 less star is due to "fishy" tuna. And many of the dishes are often oilier than need to be. While there wonton soup was wonderful and the Beef w/green peppers and onions was delicious, I hate to say the last two times we got Sesame Chicken it was awful, huge chunks of chicken, tough, rubbery and hard to chew. Sad because the sauce is very good, to bad the chicken wasn't. read more

Not from East Boston I was looking for some Chinese food and from a local told me little Asia was pretty good so a party of three of us went in and had a great dinner. The food was very good and the service was excellent. One more thing the restaurant sits right next to the subway tracks so every few minutes a train comes by train and I actually thought at first it was a trimmer, but I must say it's just added to the ambience of the place. My wife picked me up at Logan and we did not get to the restaurant till almost 10:30PM. Both bar and dining room were still busy. Waitress was working a lot of tables alone but she was a pro and had us set up with Mai Tais (awesome) and ice waters in no time. The food was piping HOT, all obviously freshly prepared. Everything was delicious and the service was superb. I had experienced a long and tiring day, could not have ended better then the great food and dining experience we experienced at Little Asia. Very good sushi , they're a bit pricey but the portions are slightly larger than most places ... I love their spicy tuna roll and California roll... Staff was ok , I mean they don't interact as much and they aren't social ... It seems like lots of locals come here for the bar and they tend to stare if you're a new face ...
