Cute breakfast/brunch spot with limited indoor seating and additional outdoor seating. The outdoor area has a great vibe, but it gets extremely hot during the Las Vegas summers. Adding misters for the summer and maybe heaters for the winter would make the space much more comfortable. The service was excellent. Since it was our first visit, the cashier provided honest recommendations on what to order, which I really appreciated. The food was decent but I felt it was a bit overpriced for the quality. The drinks were good, and the acai bowl was definitely the highlight of our meal. I would come back just to try more of their drinks and enjoy another acai bowl.

Was out and about today and wound up on the Walmart plaza across from the Costco plaza . I think this plaza has had it share of quick turn over restaurants, but I sure hope this one stays as I was really impressed. Went in , several folks in the front of the place looking the laminated menu. (Truth be told) I checked out the menu on line when I parked, figured it would be easier and quicker. Anyway, went up to the counter, told the cashier what I wanted, (smash burger and waffle fries) asked and received 10% military discount, was given a little wooden block with a number... the restaurant was actually pretty busy, looked like all eat in customers. The BOH (back of the house) appeared to be organized chaos, (in a good way) lots of action back behind the counter . I counted 7 folks back there either cooking, prepping or bringing food out and bussing tables. I watched my smash burger being made, two medium size seasoned balls of beef, promptly smashed wafer thin, bot just pressed down like some places. Cheese and onion added with their sauce. Waffle fries made fresh and super crunchy and not heart attack salty. Final verdict, probably one of the simplest but best smash burger I've ever had. Total time from ordering to check out, maybe ten minutes .... Definetly going to try this place for brekkie sometime soon

I have been wanting to try this cafe for a while after seeing it on my social media feed and the opportunity finally came today. It was pretty busy but I was able to still find seating indoors. Although the outdoor patio looked really nice it would not have bothered me to dine out there also. There were a lot of good items looking to choose from on the menu but overall I went with the poke bowl and it sold me on returning. The service speed was pretty standard for a cafe in the middle of rush hour. The staff was friendly and still maintained to keep the restaurant clean which I appreciated. I am looking forward to returning!

When looking for a healthy lunch option, I stumbled upon this incredible restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is adorable with a relaxed coastal vibe that feels warm and inviting. The menu offers a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, along with a great selection of smoothies, coffees, and teas. Everything was fresh and made to order, and the service was friendly and attentive. A great spot for a fresh, healthy meal.

This place has such a vibe. The decorations as soon as you walk in the door is coastal and beachy. It felt like walking into a seaside retreat. There are cold beverages and merchandise as soon as you walk in and then you arrive at the counter. Even the kitchen is surrounded by a tiki bar. The girl taking orders was very helpful and friendly, answering my questions and offering ideas while I was deciding. There is a huge patio outside that carried on the vibe and I almost wish I would have eaten out there. My eggs and smoothie were both delicious and I am sure I will try more of the menu but there was a smell in the back of the restaurant that was a little off putting. I look forward to going back and trying something new along with a seat on the patio

Kyota Matcha with Banana Cold Foam

5 star place for sure. I'm not gonna lie, there was nasty sewer smell indoors near the bathroom. I think they had a sewer problem or something but because of that we ate outside. Aside from that, the ambience of this place was great. It has beautifully decorated coastal patio area. I ordered the Boat House Breakfast and the Kyoto Matcha with Banana Cold Foam. Both were delicious and beautifully plated. The hash brown that came with it was very crispy. I also loved how they didn't over scramble the eggs like most places. The Matcha was good. It didn't have a fishy taste. It comes unsweetened, adding the banana cold foam added some sweetness. The cold foam was really good.

Wonderful Ambiance! Such a nice spot to have some Matcha and great conversation/company. The service is FANTASTIC and the food was perfect. It is a little pricey but the quality of food is well worth it. One thing that really makes this place awesome is the outdoor seating. The patio area was so relaxing and peaceful. It was a great experience. I'll be back again and again for sure. This will probably be my go to spot for peace and Bible study. If you're searching for a place to get away that also has yummy food and matcha, look no further, give this place a try. Hope to see y'all here

Little Avalon is a very casual sort of health focused cafe that offers coffees, lattes, juices, smoothies, breakfast, toasts, many various bowls, sandwiches, salads, and fish and chips. You can sit in the community patio or inside at the counter, a table or booth. Inside are a lot of live plants to look at. We ordered and paid at the counter and sat ourselves. We've found that you get called to pick up some things like your beverage. But our meals got ran out to us. (I wonder if we sat on the patio if we would have heard them to get beverages?) SHORT STORY - Both meals - ABOVE AVERAGE but both meals missing something Longer detailed story - I got the Strawberry Mix Salad with added Salmon. The salmon was nicely grilled and cooked to a perfect medium. The salad was fresh and delicious. This salad only contains a pinch of quinoa. Just enough to get stuck in your teeth but also was missing the candied walnuts that I was looking forward to. My husband got the Philly (inspired) Cheesesteak with waffle fries. The fries were very good and can pass as freshly prepared and were nicely seasoned. The shaved rib eye was prepared very well and was also nicely caramelized. The sourdough bread was very good and maybe was a little too heavy with butter but It was all tasty and very good. The only problem here was that the amount of Cooper Sharp Cheese that was used was so scant that the sandwich was closer to being free of cheese than containing cheese. Also nobody really waits on you so nobody asks how things are. Normally I'd give three stars for two major problems. #1 - communication problem - If they were out of candied walnuts I should have been informed so I could pick something else that wasn't missing ingredients. #2 - Nobody anywhere will be happy with the Cheesesteak if they are expecting it to contain cheese. Even if the amount of cheese was doubled it still wouldn't have enough cheese on it. According to www.flattopking.com a cheesesteak should contain at least 3 slices of cheese. An actual real Philly Cheesesteak that is different and longer actually contains 2-4 ounces of cheese. Why I gave them 4 stars instead of 3 - The cook on the salmon really was great and unexpected. You only get this at a handful of places. The cook on the steak sandwich was also very good and the ingredients used were all very good. There is potential for greatness. They only need very little improving to be 5 stars. 3 3/4 Stars rounded up

How it's spelled on their menu: "Kyota Matcha"

Yelp Review 2026 #38: Little Avalon replaced Buenos Dias. My first attempt to try Little Avalon for Sunday brunch, there was a lot of people waiting outside so, we left and went somewhere else. We came in earlier on a Sunday and it worked out. You order and pay at the counter. Grab a number. And find a table and they'll deliver your food and drink at your table. There's nothing that changed with the interior. They have patio seating. I'm copying and pasting the description of from their menu... "KYOTA MATCHA $6.50 ceremonial grade matcha, milk." Maybe, they meant Kyoto. But this was not ceremonial-grade matcha at all. It was bitter, astringent and not a hint of sweetness like good quality ceremonial matcha tastes. It tastes like Costco everyday matcha. 1/5 "BANANA CREAM COLD BREW $7.50 cold brew, vanilla, banana cold foam" This was actually good. You can taste banana and coffee as described. 4/5 "BEACH BUM BURRITO $15 protein choice, eggs, cheddar cheese, smashed avocado, hashbrown patties, served with avalon sauce & salsa + house breakfast potatoes $3" A solid breakfast option. This burrito is stuffed and not all tortilla. 4/5 "STEAK & EGGS* $24 6 oz ribeye, cowboy butter, 2 eggs sunny side up, microgreens, sourdough toast, hashbrown patty" I didn't have micro greens on my plate but it's ok. I was asked how I would like my eggs cooked and I got scrambled. The steak was thin. But it was good steak and eggs. 4/5 Parking is not the best in this complex and it's always been like that which is not Little Avalon's fault. Will I come back here? Maybe, I'll try other food items but definitely skipping their matcha.

My husband's gone to the Little Avalon location in Southwest Las Vegas, and when we saw one open up near our residence, we couldn't wait to try it out! Little Avalon recently opened their 3rd location in Northwest Las Vegas, off of the 215/Decatur exit. It's in the plaza where Walmart is located. There is plenty of parking. As soon as my husband and I walked in for a lunch on Wednesday around 11:30. It was busy inside. Most of the tables were full and several tables outside were used as well. Their menu is like a coastal café. It has a mix of breakfast, bunch, lunch and light dinner options. Some of the items included the following -Breakfast Burritos -Sandwiches -Burgers -Protein Bowls -Poke Bowls -Salads and more! My husband ended up ordering the grilled chicken pesto sandwich and I had the Philly cheesesteak plain - just the steak and cheese! We found a table for two open inside the restaurant and sat down. The restaurant's interior is beautiful. There were a few other restaurants in the space before like Dickey's Barbecue Pit and the restaurant looks completely different! It was quite relaxing hanging out inside the restaurant. I didn't wait too long for my order, about 15 minutes for the Philly cheesesteak. It was pretty good. The steak was tender and juicy. There wasn't much cheese in it though. I didn't get too much flavor from the sourdough bread that was used. I'd order it again though. Unfortunately, my husband ended up waiting another 30 minutes for his order! I'm not sure what happened, but there were several other customers going up to the kitchen to let them know their order was wrong. When his order did arrive at the table, the waffle fries were hot, but the chicken sandwich was cold. I had a bite of the chicken and it was very chewy and didn't have too much flavor. The pesto was yummy though and the bun was soft. The waffle fries were decent. I'm really glad I had a chance to try out Little Avalon! It's always nice checking out a new spot that's been on my list. Not sure if I'll be back anytime soon, but I'm definitely glad I gave it a try!

Busy place for a Friday afternoon. Service was great. We sat at a booth with a wood table top, uneven, rustic. Outside seating underneath big shade trees. Possibly dog friendly. I didn't see any signs and a couple dogs in the outside seating. Steak was very very tasty. Her sandwich was good also. The sourdough bread is very good too. My steak N waffle fries were good. They were too salty. Probably from the cheese. The coffee was not good. She ordered it because the reviews were really positive just it was so bitter. This is why I did the 4 stars.

I stopped by Avalon on opening day and it was definitely busy, but everything still felt seamless. You walk up, order, and then grab a table inside or outside, which made the flow really easy even with the crowd. I got a latte to go, though plenty of people were hanging out and enjoying the space. The whole place has a really cool rustic desert vibe that makes it feel unique and inviting. Just a heads up if you have little ones, there are quite a few cacti around, especially outside, so something to keep an eye on.

Met a good friend here and was impressed with it. The blueberry latte was both beautiful and yummy . Service was great and they had a really nice outdoor seating area .

The staff were friendly and kind. The cookies were good however pretty hefty on the sweet side. My husband is diabetic so he had to limit his intake on these cookies. He loves chocolate chip but had to go with the less sweet cookie, the chewy oatmeal (which I thought was perfect!) I am not a cookie lover but my favorite one was the peanut butter and chocolate one because the salt from the peanut butter offsets the sweetness of the cookie. But my favorite item was definitely the banana bread, it was perfect!! I will definitely go back for that and perhaps a latte. If you have a sweet tooth, this place will definitely hit the spot. I would recommend trying this place out. It would be a good place for meeting a friend for coffee or even studying. Check it out for yourself and tell me your thoughts.

Today we gave it one last shot and the overall experience was a mixed bag; a bit of column A and a little from column B. The food was tasty but the service was so poor that I can't give this place more than the 2 stars. Mainly due to our server who was so disgruntled and indifferent to the point where we felt like we weren't welcomed. The place is nestled in a pretty busy shopping center so I'm sure it gets a good amount of foot traffic which boggles the mind that they'd only have 1 server for the entire place. The food was yummy...just a little slow to come out. My burger sat in their heat lamps for a while before I got at my table. So that was a bummer. The place is nice and clean, appropriately decorated in accordance to the name, good ambiance and taste of music (seems mostly 80's-ish), and plenty of seating. This particular business appears to be ran by a local family even though their is more than one establishment of the same name. Not really understanding the concept of being called a cafe when its more of a diner operation. I have not tried their other location on Craig Rd. I always try to support local businesses, of course! Staffing/service were all nice, friendly, and professional, food came quickly. No complaints there. I ordered the breakfast combo with a biscuit and gravy instead of the pancakes. Eggs over medium. This was an ok meal. Certainly not the best but it hits the spot. The gravy was good and thick with a nice peppery flavor, texture was on point. Didn't care for the biscuit, though. Crumbly and dry with the same taste and ingredients as the pancakes. These are not homemade. Bacon was rubbery and chewy. I tend to like my bacon crispy to the bite. I keep forgetting to request it that way, doh! Although, I honestly feel this is low quality bacon....just saying. All in all, I feel the service and ambiance is there but for this meal itself seems to fall short, especially, for the price. Now I know why I see mailers for this place every month since this place can get spendy! This meal cost over $21 without beverage (I got water), a bit too steep in my honest opinion considering other available options. That's including the sales tax (of course) and a tip. Apparently, they also add an upcharge percentage for using plastic...mine was $.71, bummer. Upon first impression, an ok place to go to eat and socialize with good service but expect to pay more than the average here for ok quality food. Oh, yeah, and bring cash to avoid the unexpected upcharge. 3.5 stars.
