Went there for a quick breakfast for dinner last night. BREAKFAST SERVED ALLLLLLL DAY!! I'm not religious, but AMEN!! I loved the diner chic decoration and inviting atmosphere. I'm on a low carb diet. Yes, yes I know. I had the steak and eggs with a garden salad. THE STEAK WAS PERFECTLY COOKED and had beautiful grill marks. I went for medium rare. My buddy had the western burger. I'm going to take a wild guess and say he lovedit , mostly because I looked over and he had torn through half of it in minutes and said damn good bbq sauce. We will be back. They have adult beverages and a separate bar area too. I went on a Saturday evening around 7pm and they had room to spare. I'm sure breakfast will be much busier. They have a great product, look, price was on point and a real working juke box. Oh and I think they really like Coke Cola. You'll see. So go and tell all your friends. read more

This was our first stop when we landed and let me tell you that the customer service is fantastic. When we walked in the ladies made us feel at home and super welcomed. I had the Chicken Fried steak and honestly the grave needs a lot more seasoning but the house potatoes it comes with is well seasoned so it balanced the plate out. Really great home made potatoes by the way. Over all the service was by far great so I definitely recommend coming here if you want good food and friendly staff! read more

Gave it a try one time so far. Went in for a late lunch, 1/2 hour before they close. Only one other table, so service was quick. I thought it was a bit pricey until the portions came out. I had the club with tots. Plenty there for 2 meals. My honey got the chef salad. It was served on a platter. Everything was tasty. Hard to leave here hungry. read more

Not a dive and not pretentious.... Just breakfast done amazingly well. The breakfast sliders are a fantastic meal that is way too large for one person, so plan on sharing. This place offers all of the great diner style breakfast. They have a few oddities for those who want something different. I wouldn't say that their going to wow you with flavor but they will wow you with portion sizes and nicely cooked food. I personally think the best thing about this place is their cleanliness, not only in the dining area but also the bathrooms. For people who normally have a hometown favorite eatery that's not normally the case. Give this a place a try for a Sunday morning breakfast. read more

Little Dipper Diner is a great new restaurant in our neighborhood! The menu is the same as the (now closed) Cafe AK, which was on Spenard across from Koot's windmill. Food and service are wonderful--pure comfort on a plate! Especially enjoy the made-from-scratch sausage gravy and hollandaise sauce. Clean, nice decor, and plenty of seating for groups. read more

Hello, my name is JoAnn and this is my third time coming here for breakfast with my husband.  Service was prompt.  Our waitress was Samantha (Mom), and she started us off with our own carafe of coffee. Ordered from a well described menu of various items.  I wish they had pictures. Oh well, can't  have everything. Ordered a scrambled egg/potato dish, and it was huge. Well worth the price, plus it came with toast. Very tasty, took half home for later. Also ordered side of bacon. Got to have my bacon. I like mine  very crispy.  Was perfect, yet not burned. I know I'll be going back again with my husband as he's didn't order his pork chop like he usually does for breakfast.  Jenifer had her baby. I came here for breakfast one day and I'd give it about an average rating. I had some pancakes and they were good. I had some hot chocolate too and it was nice and hot plus it was nicely decorated. They don't seem so busy during breakfast. There was practically no body in there except for staff. So quiet I guess. All around it was okay. read more

Just left this establishment after being screamed at by a woman claiming to be the "owner" after simply asking her if our food would be much longer. We had been waiting nearly 20 minutes while other people who came in after us had already had their food. When I asked she said "you're not the only ones in here" and I said "I know that". When she came back down she slammed the food down saying "here you go a whole 5 minutes after you ordered" and I said that that wasn't true and she said "yes you've been here for 5 minutes" -- and it was closer to 30.....we just got up and left because I don't need to be spoken to like that. IM NEVER COMING BACK HERE and I'll tell every single person at my job at the hospital not to come here. Rude rude rude and just plain nasty to a woman with a small child and an infant simply asking if the food was going to come out soon. Way to make me cry in front of my children and have to explain to them why somebody was so rude for absolutely no reason. read more

Went in for brunch. Service was seriously lacking, there was one waitress and another woman bussing tables who could very easily have helped filled drinks, deliver food, etc. There were a lot of senior citizens there and once we received our food it was clear why, good food for what it is - very basic no-frills. This place is a lot like the old Cafe AK. FOOD IS GOOD! The place is a good size, nice booths for families or couples. Servings are good sized. Service was great. My wife and I go here for breakfast once a week and it is always great. Staff are very friendly and the food is made in short order!

Coworkers and I stopped in, about 12 of us. I had the French Dip, saw a few scrambles on the table, a wrap with sweet potato fries, a soup and sandwich special. Everybody loved their meal.
