Little D's is an excellent place to take you car if you need high quality exhaust work done. Yesterday I took my BMW M2 over to this cool exhaust shop for the very first time. I was quickly greeted by the owner (I believe his name is David) & he helped me get my car up on the rack. Upon further inspection it was determined that the heat shield above the muffler which joins the lower valance of the rear bumper didn't need to be replaced after all. I just needed to drive the 4 bolts in with more pressure until they grabbed the metal. Not only did he save me tons of time & money, he also helped restore my faith in good honest hard working shop owners. I was impressed at how nice he was & at the same time how honest he was. In today's world finding an awesome shop you can trust to look out for your best interest is becoming more & more rare. Looking forward to bring more of my cars here soon. Cat converter was installed for less than 3 months. Went bad and was told "oh well not my Problem". This was after the shop was closed for 3 weeks with no response to any phone calls or voicemails. Awesome guys, got a resonator delete on my GTI over a year ago that sounded so good. When I looked under the car to inspect the welds, it looked completely stock. Thats how you know quality work was done. I came back recently not for any exhaust work, but because I was DIYing an oil change and my oil filter was torque on by the previous owner with the force of a thousand suns. I came here desperate because they were the only shop I knew of close enough and would help me without charging for an entire oil change (I was wanted the filter loosened enough for me to do the rest at home). I went there and what did they do? They loosened it for me, they gave me advice on some maintenance I should do, and they sent me home with my car in 10 minutes. I LOVE THESE GUYS. Not the happiest. Got my catalytic converter replaced here, which should last from what I was told, for about 10 years and this is what it looked like after just about 3 years. Had to pay another few hundred bucks to replace it once again but this time with additional muffler problems now. One star because they tried but they could've done better,especially for the price I paid. read more

If I could give Little Ds no stars I would. I took my 57 cadillac awhile to get an all new exhaust system put in. I was quoted $1000 for the whole process and was told to bring cash because he doesn't deal with cards. When I first picked the car up the lift was lowered so I couldn't look at all the work her did. Then when I finally crawled underneath the car myself I saw the shittiest job I have ever seen. He left the original rusty pipe from the exhaust manifold that came down about 2-3 feet and welded the new system right to it. He said it would be an extra 400 to redo that section of pipe which is ridiculous. All the welds on the system are terrible, the is carbon that leaks from the pipes because he didn't weld all the way around the pipes, and half of the exhaust Hangers broke off because the weld didn't penetrate the metal at all. I strongly recommend against going here and taking your car to Babes Muffler instead to actually get good quality work done to your car. The owner is a piece of shit and cheated me out of my money while doing. Hopefully I can save others from wasting their time and money on this sorry excuse for a business! read more

While getting a quote, the owner walked away to make a phone call. While I waited, I looked at the car he was working on. The welds were rough and the bends were crushed. The guy yelled for me not look then got back on the phone. When I started to walk away, after getting tired of waiting, dealing with his rudeness, and see the poop quality, he yelled for me to stop and come back. Little D's muffler shop was the worst and terrible experience I've ever had he quoted me 80-120 to get a tip installed and just a little bit of piping and I drop the car and tell him exactly how I want it done and I come back one hour later car is back on the ground didn't even see the work and he charged me 220 and I didn't have all the money so he had told me to take my car and go get the rest of his cash so what I did was left the shop and went straight to a different muffler shop and had the whole job redone and took his shitty work off and got it all done within 40 mins for 120 dollars little d's is the worst shop by far In the Bay Area do not and I mean do not go to him on top of that will criticize you and your car and tell you how much more knowledge he has when he clearly doessnt know shit and his shop is in a trash ass area read more

This place is the absolute best for muffler service!! I had replaced my o2 sensors but I wasn't able to tighten the vband clamp on the turbo side. I walked in and pet the sweet russian blue cat. D had me get my car on the lift and he quickly tightened it down. No more exhaust leak!! I will always recommend this place to anybody that needs exhaust or muffler work. I got a muffler delete on my 2007 bmw 328i and had a great experience with this place. the job was done quickly and very well even with an anti-rust paint sprayed on the added pipe. The car now sounds amazing and looks great. I had my muff (that was pretty tough) repaired here. Make a long story short, they didn't fix it right the 1st time, and said due to the aftermarket parts I had, needed a flex manifold. He wanted to charge me the labor AFTER they tired to fix it the 1st time.. I said hells no, but I would pay for the part (that I am sure was up charged to com the labor cost). I like his logo, no muff to tough, but I think they charge too much. read more

Little D's did great work. I ordered and received a mid pipe late Saturday and called him to see if he could install it the same day. They were very accommodating and invited me to come in. Took a look and said they could do it. Given this was at 4:30pm on a Saturday. They took their time and I hung out staying out of his way. I couldn't be more please. First thing I knew the owner was yelling at me about how many years he had been in business and that I do not know what I am talking about. I recommend these folks based on their honesty. I called about replacing the catalytic converter on a Hyundai Sonata. I had gotten quotes other places and was not getting consistent responses. Dave is a straight shooter. He was very knowledgeable. The Hyundai has three converters on it. And only one supplier is CA approved. Only these guys knew that the others didn't. He said if you go to a lower priced guy he is assuming he can use an after market converter. Expect a bad call after he starts. He Gave me an accurate price. Be careful and do your research, little d's Mark up on parts is over 100%. I was charged $1100 for 2 catalytic converters for a 2000 chevy camaro. That's $550 each for universal fit cats. Not including install. On top of that he will try and talk u out of what u want done. Then he uses knock of mufflers that he says are flowmasters but there not. The guy does good clean work. Just charges a lot of money, and u don't really end up with what u want. read more
