Lets keep yelp real!!! Unique and Decent pizza but won't be in my regular rotation. I was really hyped about this place but it does require you to be in a certain mood. We ordered the pep'd up. Plus side, we really enjoyed the flavor of the pepperonis. Unfortunately the dense crust overwhelmed the sauce and cheese components of the pie. What a lovely surprise. Wonderful crust, enough cheese, the ranch seasoning complements everything. We added the jalepeno on top and we really enjoyed it! I had princess street pizza earlier this week and this was better. Pazzooki is freaking awesome crispy with goey center. We will definitely be back. read more

Solid pizza, it's artisan detorit style and they really give you what you ask for. Ordered when they were bootleg in a truck and now they got this little shop in mar vista. Not a lot of parking but easy to find some near by. More of a take out pizza place, pizza is heavy! So plan accordingly because you will get food drunk after two slices. Salty, and very flavorful pizza but not something I could eat more than once a month. Nice specialty pizza spot Forsure. read more

Awww man. We used to walk to this place when it was Bootleg Pizza on Pico. Now it's deep westside Little Dynamite. We tried it once and it was disappointing, but gave it another try yesterday hoping it was a fluke-it wasn't. We were big fans of the pepperoni pizza. Those yummy little cup pepperoni! The pie seems smaller, but might not be. It definitely has 40-50% less pepperoni than it did, but the price went up. I know, everything is going up. With so much less pepperoni, the taste has changed. But not for the better. Also, no fresh basil. Just not gonna pay almost $30 for this. read more

The day before trying out this place, I did a take-out order of another Detroit style pizza spot in Santa Monica, Emmy Squared. You can see my review separately. When taking my first bite of Little Dynamite (ordered: 1 Cheese Square and 1 Pepperoni) I was immediately impressed. This is definitely better than Emmy for sure! The sauce on those squares is killer! I wish they would add just a little more. Both squares were very good, but if I had one minor critique it's the dough, which I found to be a little too dense. I thought I read somewhere that they use sourdough, which could be the reason for the density. Either way this is some damn tasty pizza! The woman taking the order was super nice and friendly, which added to the pleasant experience. I will be back! read more

Pros: The pizza is great! It doesn't seem like a lot of food but it's actually super filling Cons: My first time ordering from here, they DO NOT have a store phone number or online ordering system! They only offer pickup/delivery through door dash or pick-up in person. Door dash charges an extra 15% in service fees even for pick-up, which is insane,. I was about to get charged $90 to order online for 2 pizzas. I ended up going to order in person and had to wait to avoid the extra fees. I ordered about $10 worth of extra toppings which were NOT put on the pizza. Didn't realize this until we got home. Had NO way of calling them to follow-up on this since they don't have a phone number. So this was extremely frustrating. Their prices are steep ($6 for extra meat toppings, $3 for extra vegetable toppings, $3 for a super small size of ranch dressing). Would I go back? Maybe! But for the price/extra charges by only facilitating door dash and or in person-pick up, there's a lot of other great pizza places out there with less of a hassle. I was really looking forward to an easy local pizza place, but overall I think their execution of services needs a lot of improvement. read more

Ordered a 'Dad' which was enough for two people and not much more. It's thick and bready, but suffers from too little sauce to offset that density. The small form factor of their pizzas also means that four of the six slices are corners which have even less space for toppings / sauce. Overall, it was fine, but not great. Perhaps it'll hit the spot for those who prefer this style of pizza, but I don't think I'll crave it in a few weeks. Solid 3.5 stars from this pizza critic. read more

Not sure what the hype is about but maybe that's just me. Ordered the dad, which was italian sausage, green peppers, red onions, cheese, sauce. It wasn't bad overall but just a little too doughy for my liking, to the point that it was chewy at points. The toppings were good, but there could have been more. The pizza wasn't very big either. By itself, It's not really enough for two so at $30 this just didn't do it for me value-wise. I could probably get a bigger, tastier pizza elsewhere, for this price or cheaper. The price was quite high for a small portion and quality. Appalonia's is better quality and Prince street pizza is a better options (can be tastier depending on what you like), and price. Wow . Has anyone else struggled to find good pizza in LA? My friend has been urging me to come here for at least 6 months. Why didn't I listen sooner??? We did pepperoni, sausage and jalapeño. The manager also gave us some of his wife's homemade ranch which was also wow. Toppings high quality and loaded up, crust was crispy and soft, and sauce was perfect. This has to be one of the best deep Fish pizzas I've had in LA. Perfect balance of flavors and the roasted garlic added a unique touch. We had the Death Breath pizza and it was ready 20 minutes after ordering. The only thing that could be improved is the quantity or size. The pizza is on the expensive side and it is smaller than most pizzas. Granted the ingredients were incredibly fresh and of high quality, but I would recommend more than one pizza for a family of 3-4 people. read more

I've lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years, I'm one of those curmudgeons who hates new things or when anything changes. I had grown accustomed to Lenzini's mediocre at best offerings and wanted to hold a grudge against little dynamite. Try as I might, it was impossible. This place is incredible, the classic deep dishes are a work of art before you get to any of the toppings, extremely premium ingredients, a very complex and refined dough recipe that is super involved, and a major pain in the ass. There are probably a hundred different ways they could cut corners and costs, making their lives easier and more money, and they never choose to do that. Also, they are culinary geniuses, every offering is the best in the city, Garlic knots crush C&O and I say that as a very proud Venetian! Finally, the monthly special is not to be missed, I judge how busy my life is by what day I finally get to try it, if I get into the double digits I'm too busy and start dropping obligations. I've never had one that I didn't like, they are always amazing and they range from guilty pleasures like chili cheese and fritos to chef-driven ingredient-forward experiences like arugula bacon, some kind of fancy Italian cheese and balsamic. But wait there is more! Every single person who works there is nice, and cool as hell. They are all extremely interesting, I very much enjoy trying to coax a little conversation out of them as they juggle pizzas in front of a scorching oven. And, the tables and seating are just right, it's not the most luxurious sit-down experience of your life. But when I sit at the tables outside, I feel like the guys from The Sopranos sitting outside of the deli holding court, keeping an eye on the neighborhood. All in all, its a wonderful experience and I cannot recommend it enough. Some will balk at the prices, the slices are extremely heavy, I'm a big eater, I've never come close to finishing a pizza in one sitting. So when you factor that in, its really a very high value! read more

Best square slices in LA! I've eaten a lot of pizza all over LA and have pretty high standards when it comes to good pizza. The pizza here is amazing - I could eat it everyday. The dough is perfectly crispy on the outside and light & fluffy on the inside. Not heavy at all. The people working here are also super kind and friendly! There are a few tables outside and a few seats inside for seating. Just a head's up - they only serve individual slices until 3PM. Love this place! read more

We walk by this place all the time with our dogs so we decided to try it. Being from the Midwest wouldn't call this Detroit style but more of a really flavorful, robust pizza from Sicily! Ordered pizza on line for 7 people. When you see the picture on line it looks pretty big so we got 2 pizzas. When the Pizzas arrived we thought it was a mistake because the pizza was maybe 8 inches. It turns out that it was not a mistake and that was the regular size for their pizza. The pizza was really doughy and sort of filling. No one should have to pay that much for a pizza of that small of a size, at least have a warning on the website saying the size of the pizza. read more
