I brought my daughter here for breakfast one morning. We sat at the bar, our waitress was absolutely fabulous. (An older Hispanic lady, I didn't catch her name) She was great with my kid and conversation. They had cereal on the menu so my kid was excited. I ordered the soup of the day, the gyro plate and the cabbage rolls. The soup was ok, 3/5. There was something too gritty in it for me. The gyro plate was a little underwhelming, the meat itself wasn't terrible tasting it just tasted packaged. And I was really sad it came with store bought pita. The cabbage rolls were actually good. Not what I was expecting, but good, would've asked for less cheese or no cheese at all. Price point for all our food was a tad high for what you got. But service was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is quaint and seems to have regulars.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I ordered hot apple cider.i got cold apple juice I think 499 is. But steep for what I did not Oder

Is it just me or is hot apple cider supposed to be hot ? And for 4.99 I would expect more

The staff were so warm and friendly and they loved talking about their kids. They were enlightening and a breath of fresh air. It's a good place to have a coffee at the bar and chat it up with the folks there. On the downside, the food lacked personality. The Pancakes were dry and the Omelet dish was bland. Too bad the food didn't have personality like the staff.

Visiting here was a happy accident! Foiled at our first attempt at a late breakfast on the way back from Love Field, I had this place on my radar for a couple days. Because of their hours, they always seem to be closed or closing when I drive by. This time they were open. The coffee is strong and readily & happily refilled. It seems like a real locals, hole-in-the-wall, hidden gem. We ordered the gyros and eggs plus the super scramble. It was near-perfect! Okay, I like my potato's with a touch more crispy brown on them, but they were completely cooked - not even a touch of underdone. One of the owners was our server. She introduced herself, was extremely welcoming, and even asked our names. We promised to return, so I guess we have to now!

Awesome breakfast cafe. Good southern cooking. Nothing to write home about but feels like home cooking when you're there.

One of my favorite places to grab breakfast from in the DFW…read more I've been to one that's located near Carrollton/Addison area a few times. This was my first time at the Plano location. The decor is so cute; I love the natural lighting and how the colors bounce off each other. Plenty of outside seating, and the inside seating has a great space as well. I started off with the green juice smoothie which was pretty tasty! I ended up getting the honey berry french toast combo with eggs, ham and turkey sausage, with a side of grits. I didn't care too much for the grits or the taste of the turkey sausage but everything else tasted amazing! The Signature Honey Berry French Toast stole the show. It wasn't overly sweet and the fruits added a perfect touch. Madison was our server. She had great customer service skills! She was very sweet! If I'm closer to this area I'll be back here for breakfast.

Checking in in advance on Yelp is a must, but we still waited 15-20 min past our expected wait time to be seated. Now I'd say normally for this experience, I would give 2-3 stars. Our food took about 50 minutes to come out, and the pancakes I got were basically iHop quality IMO. My bf liked his corn beef hash skillet well enough. I was willing to overlook all of this, because I've worked a busy restaurant opening before and I know how insane it can be. But the staff really surprised us when the wait time started drifting into unreasonable. Not only was our ordered comp'd without any prompting, but some of our order was brought out as duplicates for us to take home. That earned them back enough stars to be brought to 4 in my eyes. Definitely willing to give them another try at a less busy time. Thankful for the great service we received!"

Things didn't go as smoothly as I hoped for her first visit, but management apologized and tried to make up for it. I appreciated the effort on their part and opportunity to give my feedback. I'm thinking it was an off day as the shrimp pasta was extremely salty on this visit. Food: My Reuben egg rolls were a delightful and delectable bite. One of my favorite appetizers. The Russian/Thousand Island dressing is so good. (4 STARS for the appetizer only) Pasta the presentation was great. However, today someone in the kitchen was heavy handed on the seasoning and it was super salty. The taste was not good. Seeing that I have had it multiple times I won't criticize it as much and chalk it up as a one off. Drinks: The Frosé is so refreshing. It's a cold slushie perfect for a warm summer day. The sample flight is also cool and a great way to taste all the drinks. The presentation is cute and it's a fun experience. (5 STARS) Ambiance: It's a cozy and comfortable vibe. I always feel relaxed and enjoy myself. (4 STARS) Service: The staff is always pleasant and friendly. I want to thank the manager for my concerns on the pasta. The way she handled it was professional. (4 STARS) So overall I had a good visit. Everything was a hit minus the pasta it was a miss this visit. I will definitely be back as this is one of my favorites.
