As a SEA it's bizarre they only have beef pho on weekends. I know it's harder to make but it's a pho place. I hate the idea of Vegan pho as an avid meat eater but there's is good. The broth was actually too flavorful. I ain't doing chicken noodle soup at a Viet place, I have Campbell's at home bruh. They should put the veggies on the side and not inside and where's the lime wedge? And sugar and S/P shakers? They need to slice the mush worms longways. This time they had a bunch of little caps. The mushrooms are supposed to be like meat slices so long bigger ones better obvi. The spring rolls are bomb! Best spring rolls you can get around Bushwick. Spensive at $10 though. I wish they had an option to order more noodles cause the soup bowl is very big. Wait did they lol? Didn't look and first time there. Just order a pick up food there, they first said the waiting was for 15 min, let me waiting for 1hr to give me the wrong order, once I asked to do change, they asked to wait for another 1hr for a simple vegan pho order. First time trying this place I did a pick up order. Although I was super late to pick it up it was still amazing (definitely do add ons if it's bare). Second time I did delivery and I dont know if it's because they did a better job at delivering than I am at picking up but having it warm was even more scrumptious *drool*. Tried the mo pho this time and although yummy it just wasn't to my liking (too much meat for me, I guess). But there was one of the meats that melted in my mouth and I would eat a whole pot of that. For delivery I also got an order of spring rolls (not crispy and meh flavors). It probably got like that because of moisture buildup but it was also just mild in flavor and super oily. And an order of the cucumbers which sadly also lacked any pow thats typical of that side dish. May be better dinning in. The highlights of the meal were the Mo Special, bulgogi banh mi, brussel sprouts and the chicken wings! The Mo Special is at the top of my list for pho. It was flavorful yet clean. Little Mo finally reopened after months of renovations and I am so excited! I have really been in need of some pho in this cold weather. I love the new art mural on the walls, playing homage to the rustic urban vibe of New York. Along with the renovations, the menu has also been revamped. This is what I got: The Mo Special Pho is a MUSTT try. The beef soup is soo rich and flavorful, yet also tasted very clean. I was literally scraping the bowl for every last drop. The brisket was super tender, so tender that it almost disintegrated into the soup. Short Rib Banh Mi was delicious. The staff told me that the short rib was slow cooked for 9 hours. When I took that first bite, I can tell they were not lying -- the meat was soo juicy and deliciously flavorful. I recommend an upgrade to the kimchi fries. The fries are tossed in spicy mayo, so every bite is saucy I highly recommend the Mo Wangs (fried chicken wings), that soy garlic seasoning was addicting. To balance it all out, I tried their specialty drink, Ginger Yuzu Tea, which was the perfect complement to the meal. One thing I have to note is the fact that they have REAL SIRACHA on every table. Every single Vietnamese restaurant in NY has pretty much replaced siracha with a generic version, due to the shortage and now jacked up prices. This speaks VOLUMES to the establishment -- quality condiments are essential to Vietnamese cuisine. read more

This review is a takeout order from before the renovations. I was recommended Little Mo's from a friend so I was really excited to try it out. First off, the interior is nicely decorated with high ceilings and great lighting. Though the seating arrangement feels a little akward since it's all just in the middle of the restaurant. The menu itself was also a little off - for pho options, it is only beef or veggie pho during the weekends but during the week they only have chicken or veggie pho. Prices are really high for the area the location as well. I ordered just the beef pho since it is their claim to fame, a 16 hour oxtail broth. What I received was highly disappointing - only 5 thin slices of sliced beef and a broth that was so bland there was no way it was a 16 hour broth. Okay maybe it was 16 hours, but it has been diluted so much that the flavor was nonexistent. They should really focus on making a good broth over the week so that it's perfected by the end of the week, instead of just rotating broths for weekday/weekend exclusivity. A really disappointing experience with this and I hope they reconsider the menu and its prices for the reopening. read more
