Still love it here!! BF and I got a basic breakfast, and it was delicious. The table next to us was interesting...like demanding, I guess, about menu items and had no social awareness, but the server was attentive and bit their tongue. Be kind y'all. The wait may be a little long, but this is one of the spots that truly has American breakfast food that you're used with large American portions haha. The bathrooms are clean, and all the way in the back. It can feel a little packed, but you are not rushed to finish your food.

Small little brunch place with diner-like breakfast and speedy service! It is a small restaurant so there can be a wait time on busy weekends like ours.

Two eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns & sourdough toast/jam

Visited during car week on a Sunday morning around 9:00 AM. Not too crowded as we were seated promptly. My husband and I had a craving for Eggs Benedict. When the waiter came over to take our order we were informed they did not have hollandaise sauce. What?! On a busy Sunday morning shortly after opening, to not have hollandaise sauce was a big disappointment. We ordered an omelette with onions, feta, tomatoes, and olives with a fruit cup and whole wheat toast. The other order was 2 eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon, with sourdough toast. The jam was quite good. Service was ok considering how busy it was. Seating is close together, however if you opt to dine outside it isn't too bad.

Okay some may say my mistake was ordering a Mexican dish in a Swiss cafe.. but my goodness were they sooo off the mark in every way. See picture for reference of the "huevos rancheros". Not only was the presentation laughable but it also tasted like canned refried beans and store bought side salsa and guacamole. It was honestly the worst breakfast I've ever had. The waitress did try to warn me. She mentioned that everything was served on the side and "some people don't like that." She was SO right! We also ordered their Cheese Blintzes and they forgot to give us the side of fresh strawberry jam on 3 of our orders! The restaurant itself is cute inside but tightly packed. Honestly the 2 stars are for the kind and lovely waitress who tried to warn me about my order and because she so kindly provided books to my 10 month old. She deserves 5 stars. The food deserves one at most.

A cute place to have a reasonably priced breakfast in Carmel. The wait was not long at all.

This is such a cute little cafe. Old world ambiance, furniture, wall hangings and limited seating. It's not a large place. I haven't been for years. I remembered having the best split pea soup here. We came on a Friday morning and we were lucky to be seated minutes later. The group before us went for a walk and came back after we were seated and ordered drinks. Do not go far, the host went outside to look for them before seating us. Strudel is good! Great side item. Pancakes - these are usually super thin and crisp, great with syrup. Ours seemed to be regular pancakes and not as good as I remember. Blintz are thin and some of the best I've had. Crispy hash browns! Ribeye - these are fatty and not super thin but kind of the ribeyes that you ate with ketchup as a kid. I was thinking this and then I saw the waitress bring two cruets of ketchup to two guys that ordered the ribeyes at another table. Coffee and orange juice is good. Friendly and fast moving waiters and waitresses. Not fancy, just a very homey place to have breakfast or lunch.

Yee olde sweet breakfast corned beef Hash, eggs, pancakes

Very popular breakfast spot only open until 2p. Long lines to get in as it is small but worth it. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food comes out accurately and quickly. Great menu options and decent prices for the amount of food you get. The corned beef Hash was perfectly crispy in the outside, eggs were nicely scrambled for me and over medium for the hubs. Loved the super thin almost crepe like pancakes. Freshly squeezed OJ was expensive but good! Def stop here for bfast or lunch if you're in CBTS

Nice little breakfast place which gets very busy on weekends. We waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. Cute interior which resembles a wooden alpine house. We started with ordering coffee and some orange juice. We got the ye olde breakfast with bacon and also ordered some cheese blintzes. The cheeee blintzes were good. Really liked the texture and the creamy filling. The ye old breakfast was ok, bacon was a bit overdone for my taste. Would be nice if they put a tiny bit more effort into presentation. Overall still a good breakfast and staff were great. Very attentive and friendly.

Service is great, cosy beautiful place but too small, food is bad. Everything we ordered was fatty, eggs Benedict with weird fatty sauce. Same food as Denny's, but overpriced.

Such a cute little breakfast spot! It gives you everything you hope for in a traditional breakfast spot- with their own twists! From the fun artwork on the walls to the warm welcome from the staff- we truly had an enjoyable time! We had the Cheeze Blintzes, French Toast and Ham Eggs Benedict! All were so delicious!

Great breakfast! I had the Ye Old Breakfast -Savory with chicken sausage, my husband ordered the eggs benedict, and we shared the cheese blintzes. Everything was really tasty! My favorite were the cheese blintzes and my husband really liked his eggs benedict he said it was really great with an especially lemony flavor but he loves lemon! I think the service could have been a little friendlier though.

Entering the Little Swiss Cafe felt like I had traveled to Europe. We were greeted with a smile and seated in a cozy booth. Coffee was soon to follow. Our server was very friendly and clearly committed to making our visit a happy one. I had the cheese blintzes - yum! My friend had pancakes, bacon, and eggs - she said they were delicious. I will definitely return to this charming restaurant.

The vinaigrette was fantastic, the bread was soft inside and crispy outside with the perfect bread to butter ratio (we had extra butter left over). My husband got the lobster roll which was good (not the best) but the brioche roll was great and very filled. I got the King Ora salmon which had complex flavor with miso, pepper and the cabbage was fantastic. For dessert we shared the basque cheesecake which was amazing. It was more creamy and went well with the blackberry. Service could be better but was still pretty good and we would come back again to get brunch!

For a specialty menu, I was hoping for more in-house flavors rather than standard syrups. I also tried the "Dubai" croissant, which sounded amazing, and even their IG photos looked good but didn't quite meet the expectations. It appeared to be a basic croissant (similar to something you might find at Costco), then they take Nutella and spread it on top themselves, then finished with kataifi and pistachios. I was expecting something more elevated-, like a house-made croissant, possibly filled with pistachio cream and topped with a richer chocolate and pistachio spread. The concept is great, but I think the execution could better match the expectations set by the menu.

This is my first 1 star review to ever write. This gets interesting, so if interested read on…read more We attempted to book a birthday celebration for my wife and what should have been an exciting experience turned into one of the worst interactions I've ever had with a restaurant and management.  We were planning a party for 10 adults and 10 children and were shocked when the event coordinator quoted us an outrageous $30,000. Putting aside the price itself, the far bigger issue was how incredibly rude and dismissive she was toward my wife during the conversation. After we expressed concerns, we were referred to the General Manager. I emailed the GM and heard absolutely nothing for over a week despite leaving multiple voicemails. After trying a third time, I finally received a return phone call. I was told my email was never received. We explained how poorly the event coordinator treated us and that we had specifically been directed to management. Initially, the GM seemed understanding. She spoke about how small the kitchen is and how larger parties can impact other guests' experiences. She said she'd try to help, recommend alternative venues if needed, and asked me to email details again. I thought we were finally making progress. Then things somehow got worse. After sending the email, I received what was obviously an accidental phone call. During the call, the GM appeared to be speaking with a colleague and was talking negatively about me for absolutely no reason. I heard comments about how she receives lots of emails and assumes many are spam until someone sends a second email, and that she handles voicemails similarly. Hearing that level of disregard for guests regardless of how serious or beneficial the inquiry might be for the business was honestly shocking. At that point, any chance of earning our business disappeared. Even if I receive an apology, I will never spend a dollar at this establishment. The ownership seriously needs to evaluate the management team because I've never felt so disrespected by a restaurant in my life. Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. Unfortunately can't say anything about the food and never will.
