There are plenty of delicious pastries to choose from, depending on if you are craving something insanely or moderately sweet. They were also considerate to not "ban" us from sitting on the two couches when having our coffee and pastries. Technically, there is a sign saying only drinks are allowed to prevent crumbs from getting stuck in the couch cushions, but my friend and I were very careful about not spilling so they let us carry on, and I appreciated that. I mean, if you are careful and considerate about not spilling crumbs everywhere, there shouldn't be any issues. Overall, had a great experience and would certainly come back again.

So many coffee shops will charge me $1-2 for this and it makes absolutely no sense. She even asked about the ice level -- above and beyond service. I'm so glad I went and I can't wait to go back. Finding it turned into a bit of a quest for me. After several failed attempts, I finally realized that when my GPS announced, "You have arrived," I had already driven right past it. Pro tip: the truck is much closer to Steck Avenue than Spicewood Springs Road. Thankfully, Cassie, the owner, provided clear directions that made locating the truck easy. As for the coffee, I ordered the iced Casita Café Latte, made with house-made spiced brown sugar and topped with cinnamon. The cinnamon tasted distinctly Mexican, adding a richer, warmer spice note that elevated the coffee. Smooth, flavorful, and refreshing, it was an excellent choice for a warm Austin day. What made the visit even more enjoyable was Cassie. She was friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful in her interactions with customers. Black Cat Coffee is in a food truck park on West Live Oak Street in Austin, TX. Interestingly, the food truck is black with the cutest logo of a cat in a cup. This coffee food truck focuses on high quality espresso drinks including specialty options like Turkish coffee and lattes. I opted for a hot Turkish delight latte with rose, which was bold, smooth and bursting with robust flavor. My barista was friendly and welcoming! While there was a steady flow of customers, the overall vibe was chill.
