A hidden oasis that offers the perfect escape--plenty of shade, cooling fans, and great music set the vibe just right. It's a charming, cozy spot with a laid-back atmosphere. Adrian, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. As for the drinks--absolutely phenomenal! The shaken espresso struck a perfect balance of sweetness, enhancing the smooth, rich espresso without overpowering it. The hibiscus drink was light, refreshing, and delightfully subtle in sweetness. A must-visit gem!

Got the trinity! It was amazing. Not too sweet. Got a coffee and checked out the vintage place next door.

The sandwich I was planning to order contained pesto with nuts so I just felt like that would be my best bet. I typically avoid this, but it sounded so good that I couldn't resist. The employee that took my order over the phone was wonderful. So friendly and made it super easy. My order was ready when I went in! There is a small seating area inside, but lots of benches and picnic tables outside, and it was the perfect day to enjoy an outside lunch! I ended up doing the 1/2 chicken & eggplant sandwich with a side of the brisket chili. All of it was absolutely fantastic. The ingredients on the sandwich tasted super fresh and went together really well. The brisket chili was delicious with a little bit of spice as well. Highly recommend if you haven't checked out this spot!

First off, our salmon for the salad was requested as medium and well-done, but they both came out about halfway raw. I have a particularly sensitive stomach so this was a concern. I didn't feel comfortable eating it but decided to bring it home and cook it some more to avoid wasting food. Secondly, the chai latte was sickeningly sweet- which we did bring to their attention, and they did their best to adjust it. This is my friend's favorite place and she said the salmon has never come out raw before so I might give it another try, but am definitely a bit wary on the lack of consistency in food standards.

This place operates on a tab-based system, so no need to wait for a check, since the tab is opened for you before you're seated. This worked very smoothly! This would be a great place for a date or anything requiring an aesthetically pleasing ambiance, the wood lining and ceiling along with the blackboard menu give this place a great vibe.

Everything is counter service so you'll order your entire meal at the counter along with drinks, the cashier will give you a number and the service staff will bring your items to your table. My friend and I ordered several different items on the menu to try out, we got the etouffee, red beans and rice, and a mushroom salad. My favorite out of those items was the mushroom salad with vinagarette dressing, who doesn't love mushrooms and some greens! The etouffee was rich and savory with what i believe was their rotating protein of the week. Can't really go wrong with red beans and rice, these are like an upgraded popeyes version. To end the meal we tried their beignets which weren't stellar but reminded me more of a fried donut with some powdered sugar sprinkled on top. I'd come back but maybe not get so much food since we both definitely left stuffed!

I've had their steak breakfast -- notably disappointing and grisly and flavorless. But they are known primarily for their lunch, which features a rotating menu, based on the day of the week, and the week of the month. They close for dinner. Enchiladas Thursdays can be a hit (or a miss); and more so depending on how meticulous their preparation of food was: stay hairs or stray plastic pieces in your food? Not too cool. They also offer some pre-prepared foods--salads, yogurt granola, sandwiches, some sweet baked goods like cookies or brownies. At the entrance will be examples of what is on the menu for the day. The grill line and non-grill line share the same space, but are separate. For non-grill, say whether or not you want it for here or to go, whether you want the vegetarian option or not, and then pick your sides. When paying, the staff have a dual POS setup to help with the flow. Seating can be crowded, but there is also seating in the courtyard and near the entrance O's, but if I grab something from here, it's usually to-go.

Was super happy to hear about them expanding to Austin. Syrian shawarma is defined by the simple ingredients but bold flavors. My favorite staple being the chicken shawarma, 3 ingredients: Richly seasoned chicken, garlic sauce, and pickles. Simple but delicious. Their shawarmas are huge and reasonably priced. And i prefer the more authentic arabic bread they use compared to places like Abu Omar that use tortillas, which tasted off to me. The crew there is very friendly and seems passionate. And they chatted with me about their expansion plans to North Austin. They also specialize in kebabs, beef shawarma and other late night goodies. Would recommend the shish taouk and the beef shawarma as well!

I think we both preferred the chicken though surprisingly. Both arabis had great flavor and the ingredients tasted very fresh. I loved their garlic sauce and orange sauce. Only complaint about the food was that our fries were not warm but I could tell they would be good when fresh. The service was a little chaotic and slow but the workers were so nice so I won't be docking any points there since I know they just opened recently and are probably still figuring some things out. Once they get their groove I think this will be one of the better Mediterranean trucks in Austin!
