I love how we can go and pick something on the floor and they can look it up to see if it's in stock. If it is, I can usually get it delivered in 24 hours. UPDATE: I co texted the social media team after they responded to this review. They asked me to upload the pictures to a link, but I was unable to upload the pics because the link kept crashing. I emailed them back explaining the difficulty and sent the pictures attached to the email instead, but never heard back. In the meantime, a chance meeting with a friend who happens to work for LS resulted in LS replacing our mattress set with a new one. They even picked up the infested set that we had wrapped and taped. So I give them credit for that. However, if it hadn't been for my friend, the replacement probably wouldn't have happened. That's right 11:30pm and no bed to sleep on. Thanks Living Spaces for making my life HELL! Lies, lies, and more lies! Not sure if I'll ever get the rest of my furniture. Purchased a mattress, box spring, bed frame, dresser, mirror, chest, night stand, custom chair, custom ottoman, and tv stand. The tv stand and dresser were in stock, the mattress and box spring were a floor model and the earliest delivery window was 4 Days. Not tonight like the commercials promise. Wednesday morning we get a call, tv stand only is on the way. Tv stand comes, it's not like the same color wood as in the showroom but okay it's still here. He says the rest is on a different truck. I call them to make sure, Debbie reassured me it's on a truck even though it's pass my delivery window of 8:30-11:30. Call at 3:30 and find out that they put my available items on a truck only to take them off because the other items aren't ready yet (duh!). They give our dresser to someone else. The manager says they will have the mattress and box springs delivered between 6-Midnight. We call at 11:20 to make sure everything is okay and the lady informs us that the delivery was never sent out. So, here we are at 11:30 and we have no bed to sleep on tonight. Thanks Living Spaces! I'll be raising HELL with you in the morning. Update: this experience happened several years ago but I'm still astounded at what a horrible experience it all was I decided to still post it anyway. They are terrific, no hard sell, they don't follow you around like Vultures like a competitor Mathias Brothers. We were greeted by warm welcoming sales people when we walked in, all they asked is what we were looking for, then told us the location. During our hour at this store they answered our questions when asked and basically let us look on our own. Sandra was our salesperson who was EXTREMLEY helpful and very knowledgeable. She was attentive and went overboard helping us find entertainment center. My daughter bought here first couch at living spacing. Within 3 months the fabric will pilling and the cushions were losing their shape. She paid extra for the warranty. She put in a claim and they said it was normal wear and treat and to use a fabric shaver on it. The guy just opened up the cushions and reshaped the pillows. She then took the actual cushion to the store. The product has a 1 year warranty but the fabric only had a 3 month warranty ( I guess she did not read that in the fine print ) really 3 months. People own couches for years. Needless to say they did nothing. She wrote a letter to corporate, they did nothing. Last week she put in another claim through warranty the claim came back that the fabric is defective but yet Living spaces says it is not under warranty. This has gone on for almost 3 years. It is not only exhausting but very disappointing that Living Spaces does not stand behind their product. Clearly the material used was not vetted for long term use . No couch fabric should fail within 3 months. The construction of the frame is not the problem. They sold a fabric that does not have the stability to hold shape or wear and tear. Their friends bought a couch at Costco and it still looks like it did the day they brought it home. Very disappointed that they have done nothing but tell her it is not under warranty. While the salesperson I worked with was professional and helpful, the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing. I purchased a recliner and made sure to follow the 48-hour pickup policy. I even rented a U-Haul at my own expense (nearly $60) to ensure I could meet their deadline. When I arrived, I was told to check in at the front, which I did. From there, I was directed to the back for pickup. What followed was an hour and a half of waiting with no communication or assistance. Multiple staff members exited nearby through a break room door, saw us waiting, and told us someone would be out shortly yet no one came. Another customer waiting with me had the same issue. Eventually, I checked in with the manager , only to be told there was no one available to assist with pickups at all. Not a single greeting, update, or apology during the entire wait. After wasting over an hour of my time and money I canceled my order on the spot, and so did the other customer. This kind of customer service is completely unacceptable. I hope management takes a serious look at how the pickup process is being handled. read more

Just got a follow up email from Living Spaces regarding my issue. Their latest excuse is that the chair can no longer be returned because it's been two weeks. I went into the store the very next day. Living Spaces delayed this action, not me. I suspect this is just one not of their duplicitous strategies. One more piece of information, if your furniture is defective they charge you about $100 to send a technician out to inspect it. And more often than not, they deny the claim and say the furniture is fine. They also hire third parties for those inspections and deliveries and they blame those companies for any violations of company policies. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. read more

On New Year's Day, we were casually strolling around the store looking for our future couch to replace our uncomfortable couch. We told ourselves that we're just LOOKING. Then, we found this cloud couch (Zone couch) and it was super comfortable and we were amazed by it. We fell in love with it and attempted to buy it. I forgot the salesperson's name, but she was very helpful and caring. She recommended opening up with Synchrony with them, and of course, we did. She mentioned that it won't get delivered towards the end of the month which is fine. Now, here is the reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. We ordered 4 pieces, including the ottoman, and I asked if the ottoman had storage. We wanted an ottoman storage where we could store blankets and pillows in case our guest(s) slept over. Mind you, they didn't have the ottoman in their showing along with the cloud couch since it's included. After I asked, she had to think if there was a storage for a moment and said there was a storage, so we got even more excited. A week later, we found out that our ottoman didn't have storage, which was kind of disappointing after she said yes. We went back to the store to find an alternative. They had some ottoman storages in the store, but we couldn't find anything that matched the color and fabric of our new couch. My advice to any salesperson in the store is to please ask your team to make sure before you give the customer a definite answer. Delivery day - I got a call from Living Spaces 2 days and a day prior to the delivery date to confirm our home address and provided us with a 3-hour window. The delivery went smooth and simple. After putting the pieces together, we loved our new cloud couch so much and it made our living room look aesthetic and welcoming. We had compliments from our friends and family and they were wow about it. They've heard of cloud couches before and thought we spent more than $1k lol. We corrected them that it's a dupe and it's affordable, so we recommended them to get a cloud couch from Living Spaces. read more

My wife and I go couch shopping one day. We are told the couch we want will be delivered March 1st. We buy it. They take our money. The delivery window is 8am-5pm. Ridiculous. But whatever. They call me at 11:30am on March 1st to say, "sorry but not only are we not delivering today, you're not getting your couch until maybe the end of March." So we have an empty family room with no couch now for a month. No recourse. No discount. No nothing except "our bad." Why not call me earlier like say maybe the day before the delivery. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM LIVING SPACES!!! I purchased an expensive couch with Bluetooth speakers, heater and massager. Couch delivered and assembled with the Bluetooth NOT being connected. We had to connect the Bluetooth ourselves and it has NEVER worked right. It disconnects/reconnects randomly. The speakers are crackly or completely silent. The level of volume makes no difference. Called customer service and they sent out the delivery company to look at it. They literally looked at the couch and left stating they could do nothing. Called customer service again, and was told they would have a technician call to schedule a visit. Received a call from customer service to be told no technician will be sent out that I needed to review the manual to connect the Bluetooth. Advised I had already connected but didn't work properly. She referred me back to the manual. What? Called the store, no they can't help either - call corporate. Advised I already did. They said they can't help, call corporate. Called corporate back, they referred me to Furniture Solutions. Furniture Solutions has NO options to speak to someone. Recording gives options and no matter which one you choose, it states to contact a technician directly and then disconnects. No referral number provided. I paid a lot of money for defective product and no one wants to help fix. I've had the couch 4 days. All numbers they provide lead to people who won't help, say they'll have someone call you (and never do) or to call another number to nowhere. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Received an auto response to my review stating "Please call or email us!" but no number provided. The number they have listed for the store, is their call center. The number they have listed on their paperwork, is their call center. Me & my boyfriend went to this Living Spaces twice on 7/14/24. We just moved & started looking for couches. We weren't really looking to buy, but honestly after the first initial visit, we decided to come back because of the couch they had on display. It was pretty much everything we were looking for, & unfortunately other furniture stores we saw after just didn't have any quality worth the price. I think the couch we ended up getting was worth the price plus the Care Free Cleaning Plan. It was really good service! Initially Melissa, the store manager, greeted everyone who entered. The couch we ended up buying was actually not in stock, but I the person who helped me was named Keegan & told me & my partner that we could order the couch on back order! I am very disappointed I recently purchased a livingroom set from living spaces in Torrance Ca. I was told that my furniture would arrive on June 20. The furniture came on June 9 wrapped up I couldn't see what color my livingroom set was. once the furniture was brought into my home. It was a total different color. It was faded it looked like it's been sitting in the sun for months. I sent over pictures to the warranty department on the same day once i received these items. I show them proof that this furniture is not the furniture I paid for the ware department agreed. The fabric was supposed to be one solid color. They don't give you a good window of time; they give you the entire day as the window and not enough notice when they are about to deliver. When we finally advised one lady we would let them know if we need anything, she commented to her associate about how rude we were for dismissing her and how sad it was that we have kids who will probably grow up to be "like us." Very rude. We wish the associates would allow us to look, think, and picture how the furniture in our home without constantly coming up to us. We inquired if the associates are paid on commission because they are so aggressive and they replied that they in fact are not, they are paid salary, which tells me they are trained to work like this. We immediately called (less than 24 hours later) to make the change and were told that the changes could not be made and that our purchase was final immediately following the transaction, as it happened after the 8:00 PM deadline. We were never told of this 8:00 PM deadline while we were making the purchase. We were surprised when Sylvia, the manager, told us that there was nothing she could do to help remedy the situation despite acknowledging that her salesperson omitted the more affordable option. She offered to return the couch for a 25% restocking fee which would end up costing us nearly the same amount as the money we would have saved with the less expensive option. She was comfortable letting us walk away knowing that her salesperson's mistake cost us nearly $1,000. We asked to have the matter escalated and were provided a phone number to their customer service or complaint dept. We promptly called and were told someone would reach out. Customer service basically said (in-writing) exactly what the store manager said - "...we're sorry that our salesperson didn't tell you about the cheaper option...but you're only option is still to cancel and lose nearly $1,000...or keep the couch we forced you into overpaying for...". I'm paraphrasing, but that's basically their response. BOTTOM LINE: If a company or anyone within a company makes a mistake (or worse), that company should find a reasonable accommodation for their customer IF they were interested in taking care of their customer. Living Spaces Furniture is NOT interested in taking care of their customers. The voice and feedback of nearly 1,500 reviews providing less-than-50% satisfaction rating is all you need to know. I recently purchased a couch from Living Spaces. The model that I liked came in 2 styles and 2 different brands which looked almost identical, but they're not, so I'm posting my opinion next to each photo so you can see the difference. I ended up picking Chanel and it's been a treat since. Shipment took 3 long weeks but if you pay for delivery and installation they'll set up the entire piece right in your living room. Expect to pay an additional $120 (or $99 for midweek) for delivery and installation. All modular pieces came out of the truck protected with what looked like double shrink wrap, both guys wore masks, and they put on new black booties before they walked inside my home, which I loved. That meant a lot to me since I'm immunocompromised and older. They'll offer LS's 5-year Warranty. This will cost you approximately another $200.00 but if any mechanical problem occurs, repair is covered for 5 years. I forgot to ask them what happens after 5 years. Can you purchase another 5 more years? Anyway, this piece has 2 double motor recliners so you don't want to take any chances. We'll see how that works. If you don't use it in 5 years, you get it back as store credit. The material is soft and since I have very sensitive skin, it passed the sensitivity test with flying colors. Speaking of colors, the only thing I would say is, I wish they had this model in Ivory/Cream/Beige. Since the couch only comes in this soft grey color, I picked out linen and thick sheepskin rugs in ivory. I was stoked when I found Rachel Zoe's super soft microfiber type decorative pillows the other day for back support, and a couple of gorgeous, textured blanket throws with white tassels. Add an exotic Dragonfly Tiffany lamp, a Queen Anne's Victorian lamp, a stunning linen and industrial architecture coffee table with nail-heads and brown leather handles, a few select silk plants, and you've got a really cozy, homey and functional living room. read more

Bought a reclining chair from Living Spaces for my husband on Dec 7. He needs a recliner to sleep as he has heart issues. After a hospital stay we set up the chair. We realized on 12/20 that It does not stay reclined. We asked if they would exchange the chair. They will not because they have a 7 day return policy. We offered to pay a restocking fee and purchase another chair. We ended up purchasing an other recliner from them. Now I need to try to sell or give this chair away. I'm disappointed in their customer service. I will never buy anything from Living Spaces again. Costco has a great return policy. Living Spaces should aspire to be like Costco! This results in an abusive customer service model where they call you and you can never reach them Then should you pick up Small print on the receipt says you must inspect everything before you leave Imagine unwrapping a huge mrror foam wrapped and not safe to unbundle for transport. Just an example of the baloney these folks pull Customer service on the phone is as polite and willing to make customers happy as an irs agent. Their goal is to repeat "those are the rules " vs actually solving issues fairly and with integrity In short You take your chances with this company Yelp reviewers are pretty consistent in their views. Do not buy anything from living spaces. They are a nightmare to deal with. There is no customer service and if there is they will take days to respond to you. Even repairs takes about 2 to 3 weeks for anyone to come out. Bought a $3000 couch but when it arrived damaged. The technician lied and said I could have someone come out to repair the defect and if I'm not satisfied with the repair I can exchange/return it. They lie on purpose so you don't take back the damaged item and accept delivery. Such a shady business tactic. I would stay away from this company. read more

My mom and I were in this store location looking for couches which was the main thing, dining tables and basically just looking for new items when we move. We immediately fell in love with the first couch we saw and sat on. We roamed the store and people were friendly. However as we were leaving we looked back at the couch we are seriously looking to buy. A wonderful young lady her name is Stephanie was so helpful from the moment we stepped into the store and helped us figure things out. She was just as friendly as when we were leaving. Shockingly the furniture was quite reasonable in price. However Stephanie she be recognized for being so friendly, informative and pleasant to talk to and learn from. More employees she follow how she handles customers with kindness and information. It was as if we were talking to a friend instead of talking to a salesperson. If there were more stars to give for all kindness we received I would give twenty just for how kind Stephanie was. Thank you Living Spaces in Irvine for hiring a wonderful person and made us want to come back and look some more. read more

BE AWARE THIS COMPANY IS A HUGE SCAM!!!! They deliver a server cabinet yesterday to my house and the item was damaged in few areas so I refused it and they deliver again today and guess what... WORSE THAN YESTERDAY!!!! I wasted my entire weekend waiting for this ignorant company to deliver the stupid items and nothing!!! Called customer service to germ my money back and they won't refund the delivery fee even though it was not our fault and the item was damaged twice!!! Too bad I can't give 0 stars but PLEASE BE CAREFUL do not buy from this company it's the worse company you have deal with!!!! Someone needs to do something about this company they are ripping ppl off and try to take your money even though you didn't accept the item! I wish the authorities can do something against this company cuz it's not for fair for the customers. HUGE RIP OFF BE CAREFUL!!!!!!! read more
