I asked to try a different option to which the manager replied how makes no sense how could you not like it, everyone else likes it so how do you like it. You'd think after everything we went through he'd have the decency to provide decent service. Rude and disgusting establishment. They forgot to bring the paneer dish we ordered but once we asked about it, they made sure to get it to us quickly and with a new basket of warm naan. The mango lassi was amazing. I absolutely loved the paneer butter masala and garlic naan. I will be coming back for those. The dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the veggie samosas had a nice crunch. Lots of families come here to eat. This is the type of restaurant I would feel comfortable dining at alone as the waiters are very attentive and kind.

While we waited for our food, I noticed the restaurant was full of Indian people and a sprinkling of other people (including me) which I think is always a good sign when I'm ordering Indian food. True to my observation...Annapurna did not disappoint. The saag aloo was perfectly spiced and flavored and I really enjoyed the meal. The Bhindi was also very good. My only complaint is that the leftovers for the Bhindi were rather sparse! So overall i think they did a good job. I was disappointed about the glutinous dosas -- i called to double check and my favorite dosa place back home does not have gluten in its dosas. So key is always ask and don't assume there's no gluten. Even though i couldn't have the dosa, i still really enjoyed my meal. I didn't dock any points for the lack of gluten free dosa batter because my food was still very good and I felt like i wasn't missing anything. The service was very good. Overall, the food options are a bit limited compared to the other locations, and it is full service (instead of open buffet style). But the food -- always vegan and vegetarian -- is absolutely delicious and holds very well. You can get a solid meal at less than $15, and feel absolutely light and full of energy immediately after (there does not appear to be a set price for takeout -- food appears to go $6.50 per pound). I especially love the lentils (lentil anything!), paneer and the samosas. The mango lassi is also pretty good, albiet a bit watery. The space, with the restaurant downstairs and the shop upstairs, also works very well. There is some outdoor seating -- but good luck with parking. There is a tiny lot right out front, but be cautious of neighborhood parking, as parking enforcement is very active in the surrounding area.
