Response to Relaxx: I have no issue with how the buttons on my jacket were damaged - whether it was you or the manufacturer makes no difference to me. Those things happen, you buy new buttons and move on. What troubles me is that you did not call notify me, as you claim, that there was an issue with my jacket -- I called you quite some time later when I discovered it missing and called to see if you knew where it was. Since my jacket is well-documented in your system, you will know that it was many months before I received my jacket back from you. I would've preferred to just go buy the buttons myself and move on. As for the bar code tabs, the point is that your customers' garments do not belong to you. You do not have the authority to HOT GLUE anything into other people's property, no matter how small you think it is or whether or not you deem it in a discreet location. Those garments are not yours to make those decision. The appropriate action would've been to notify your customers in advance. When I discovered them in my clothing, I called to ask what they were for. I spoke with Jason. You did not reach out to me on this as you claim -- I called you. The only time I spoke with Kelly was when she called me back to assist with canceling my account. As for the "Hang & Bang" descriptor, that didn't come from me. I researched your claim about why you use these hot glued bar codes to see if it was true with other dry cleaners. The answer was a resounding NO. This location does not deserve even a one star! I am beyond furious with this place. When I originally signed up to get my items picked up, i had two different drives call me and confuse me on the days they were going to pick up the few items. Both even bothered to show up at my house asking for my items. Once the items were taken in and brought back. I was surprised to see my dirty items still being dirty and simply hanged on a hanger. I attempted to speak to a lady named Vicki, who was absolutely rude and snobby! She told me she would have her manager call me back to see what they can do one some of these items. She also told me how they are earth cleaning service and if any perfume or odor is on they don't do cleaning. In other words, if you'd like to waste your money for someone to take your items in and hang them on a cheap hanger, feel free. My best advice, STAY AWAY FROM this place! Warn everyone you know who's planning to use their service. Oh and the best part I've spent a week attempting to call their different departments varies times of the day and no one knows how to pick up the phone. They pick up and deliver to my downtown office, without any disruption to my day, and they bill seamlessly on my credit card each month. I've never had a crushed shirt button (which seems inevitable with other cleaners), they do a consistently good job, and I like their attention to environmentally friendly practices. I'm new to the area and looking for a dry cleaners that is prompt and reliable. This was not it. I dropped my clothes off on Thursday ( pair of slacks and dress shirt) to be cleaned. The pants were to be have the zipper repaired and a spot on my shirt cleaned. I picked them up 4 days later on Monday... should've checked their work. I work up in Sorrento Valley and there is not a more convenient and reliable service than Relaxx. Every Tuesday and Friday like clockwork they pick up and deliver my clothes and with the hours I work, this saves me soooo much time. Always very friendly as well, when they pick up and deliver. The prices are very reasonable and they have a great referral service where you get a $10 credit when you refer someone to their service. He called to let me know he had delivered an over-the-door hook for me to install so they could hang up my clean clothes when they were finished. I started using Relaxx about six months ago when I started a new job in Mira Mesa. I have had a great experience thus far. They offer pick-up service at my office twice a week and never miss a beat. It's difficult for my boyfriend and I to always find time to visit the cleaners, so that has been lifesaver for both of us! My dry cleaning is picked-up and dropped off right at my door and they offer auto payment, which has worked out great. Relaxx makes it very easy and convenient. Relaxx Dry Cleaners is the worst! I left one shirt and one pair of pants off on Sunday and they wanted to charge me to get them on Tues. so I said I would pick them up on Wed. (no extra charge). I came in the afternoon to pick them up and they still were not ready so I had to make another trip back just before 4 pm to get them and they still were not ready. I put up a fuss and they quickly finished. When I went to pay, they charge an extra .70 for "environmental" costs. They already charge way more than other dry cleaners and I wouldn't mind because they are a green dry cleaners but really!!! They are not worth the money. It ended up costing me just under $10 for one white mens dress shirt and one pair of mens black dress pants. Nothing special about the fabric of either garment. Wow!!! If you have to name your business "Relaxx" then I guess I should have known that they mess things up and charge an exorbitant price so their customers need to relaxx and pay up. So I am going to relaxx and not go there anymore. Be sure you have tons of money if you use Relaxx and lots of time to wait for your clothes or pay the extra cost. read more

I recently decided to start using Relaxx or my dry cleaning. I want to say that my only regret is that I didn't start using them years ago. I have never enjoyed driving out of my way after work to drop off my clothes at some hole in the wall place, having to make another trip back a week later, only be told that my clothes were not ready yet. Relaxx comes right to my office. I don't even have to think about it. I just throw my dirty dry cleaning in a bag, jump on their website and in a few clicks, they know to stop by and grab my stuff. In a few days my clothes are delivered right to me. It's perfect. I have some expensive dress work shirts that I like them to be lightly starched, and they come back just the way I like them, every time! I wish more things in my life were this easy. read more

This dry cleaners is terrible. I brought in an expensive linen dress that had a small spot on the top. The girl that took it did not mark the spot, which I thought was strange, and when I came to pick up the dress it looks like they had not even touched it. She said that she would send it back to be spot cleaned. When I came back, there was a huge chemical stain in the middle of the dress, not even close to the original spot. The manager said that he would try again, and I said that I was nervous, as there were new stains that were not there originally. In the end I let him take the dress back and try. No luck, the large stain the=at they created was still there. I was then told by the General Manager that there was nothing that they could do and I do not understand the dry cleaning business and that my expectations were too high! He told me that it is normal for chemicals to stain lined dresses and that I should have known that when I came in! He offered to refund my 6.00 for the original cleaning, but will do nothing about the pink linen dress from Nordstrom that is now ruined! And he was a jerk to boot - telling me that it was my fault because my expectations were that the dress would be better when they were done than when they started. DON'T USE THEM!!!! read more

Terrible service and terrible attitude! I should have reviewed the reviews prior to using this company. They not only separated my clothing, but delivered half the order to my house (rather than the address they picked up from) and hung the garments on my front door in 103 degree weather. My garments smell and need to be re-cleaned. Got the run around from the front desk when I called about the other half of my order. What makes this type of situation worse is there was no apology from the company and only rude, terrible customer service reps who don't a thing about courtesy. Extremely poor customer service. Personalized by the lady in charge of complaints who is both non-responsive and who does not seem to care about the reputation of the company. In August 2017 I handed in my two white shirts for an express cleaning. When I collected them they were instead rather pink. I accepted that they could try and bleach the shirts instead of seeking reimbursement of the actual costs. After 3 attempts (requiring me to visit the store 4 times in total) the shirts still had a shade of pink. After intense arguing the lady in charge of complaints finally admitted they couldn't do anymore and accepted my request for reimbursement, however, only in case I could find receipts of 180 USD (the humble reimbursement amount I asked for). I retrieved information from my European bank account (30-40mins searching on computer) and sent her the info. A couple of days later, I received a voice mail from the lady telling me that she was no longer able to reimburse me the actual costs as she now thought the shirts were OK. In the meantime I had bought a new white shirt, as I had told her that I needed a white shirt for business meetings. At this time, she had had the shirts for more than a month and the shirts were still not in the same condition as I left them in in the first place (100% white). In a cooperative attempt to finish the dispute, I requested to at least have the new shirt reimbursed. This request was also blankly denied by the lady after "consulting with her supervisors". Instead, I was offered reimbursement for the cleaning costs (around $10)... Worst (and first) customer service of this kind that I have experienced in San Diego. read more

i took my dry cleaning there because i felt bad for the guy with the sign on morena blvd and decided to give them a try.. i had a sweater that had a alcohol stain that i asked them twice if they would be able to get out or else if they didnt think they would i would take it somewhere else.. the guy said he would take extra care of it.. and when i went to pick up my sweater he charged my card and i asked him were u able to take out the stain and he said oh ya we can get blood out of things.. sadly to say i checked in front of him and the stain was still there.. he then said do u want me to try it again and i said no thanks like i said i wanted the stain out if u didnt get it right the first time i will just take it somewhere else instead he should have offered to credit me back my money but he didnt,. i then took my sweater to tops cleaners on napa and they were able to get the stain out and told me that i shouldn't have to pay twice even if they didn't dry clean it the first time and they even credited me money to come back to them.. now that is customer service!!! i have used tops cleaners in the past and have always been very happy with them.. i will never try another dry cleaner again.. so try tops!! very good customer service read more
