A bit fussy farm to table restaurant trying to win the Guinness record for the number of ingredients in each dish. I had the Duck Breast which was very tender but lacked the distinctive gamey duck flavor. While I am sure it was duck, if I were blindfolded it could have been mistaken for pork. My diner date had the Braised beef which was so rich, bordering on greasy, to the point where neither one of us could manage more than two bites. The restaurant was nicely done and gets an "A". Our waitress was a dinner whisperer. To this day I have no idea what she had asked us. Very pleasant however. Least but not last the price of a Manhattan. Minuit got a better deal per acre than I did for a Manhattan using Woodford Bourbon at Local 11 Ten. All that fram freshness comes with a high price. So don't say you weren't warned. read more

My wife and I are Savannah locals, and with so many good restaurants in town, we sometimes forget to circle back to good restaurants. We circled back to Local 11ten last Friday night for an unforgettable meal. We went with the known and unknown. The garganelli bolognese pasta was perfect, as expected. However, the star of show was the coconut curry grouper. Sweet heat embracing delectable pieces of grouper. Wow! The wine list is more than adequate and yielded a beautiful Rhone blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Le Vieux Donjon 2018. Local 11ten is a GREAT restaurant and it won't be a year before we return! I really wanted to love this place, but I just didn't. We got there at 8:40 for our 8:45 reservation and weren't seated until 9. There's nowhere to sit and wait, so I expect to be seated on time. Or that it's offered that we can go sit at the bar. Not left standing in the door for 20 minutes. The server was lovely, and very quick- she was the high point of the evening. Oysters Rockafeller dip was very, very salty. I ordered my steak medium rare, it came almost black and blue and had huge chunks of pallid yellow fat running through it that should have been trimmed. Very nice comfortable but quiet restaurant. We arrived early from r our reservation so had some cocktails in the seriously cool roof bar. Back in the restaurant my scallops were excellent as was my companion's pork with octopus. Sounds strange but was a pretty good and imaginative combination. We stopped here on our first night in Savannah for a formal dinner on a Wednesday. The restaurant was nearly empty. We walked, but it did seem like there was ample street parking. Our waiter was great, and very attentive. They had a fantastic wine selection, and I settled on the Market Fish special, my boyfriend got the filet mignon, we paired it with a Moscato that we shared (the whole bottle was only 2 glasses- it was a small bottle). I was slightly disappointed as the waiter told us there was a condensed menu (there weren't too many choices and unfortunately I forgot to get a pic of the menu) my meal tasted slightly fishy, but the fingerling potatoes were very good. My boyfriends steak was amazing, he thought it was just okay. They asked if we were celebrating anything, and we told him it was our first anniversary. They brought out a complimentary chocolate cake which was very rich, but very good. The restaurant and ambiance was really nice, the service was great, but for what we paid we thought it was overpriced we thought it was a little bit overpriced- hence only 4 stars. Just a quick walk along Forsyth Park, and a few blocks from our hotel, we were excited to try Local 11 Ten. We managed to get a fairly early reservation time of 7, the next available happened to be 9:15 pm. The restaurant is located in an older brick building, rather unassuming from the outside. The interior has rather high ceilings, the light fixtures are fairly simple with a large gold bird cage style. Our table was in the bar area next to a window and fairly private. We were greeted right away by our awesome server. He was helpful and attentive through out our meal. We started with beverages. He helped BJ select a ale. I was unsure of which cocktail to try. He recommended the Pimm's Cup, which I loved. It was Pimm's, Hendrick's gin, fresh lemon, fresh lime, fresh oj, fresh cucumber, and ginger ale. For our meals, I wanted to stick with something light. I got a salad of farm greens, apples, spiced pecans, dried cranberries, Camembert cheese and maple-balsamic vinaigrette. It was so good, so fresh and delicious. BJ got a Caesar salad with pecorino romano, olives, Benton's bacon bits and croutons. It was also very good. For our meals, I opted for soup of the day, which was beef and cream. BJ got the scallops with brussels sprouts & smoked sausage. So good. For dessert, we shared a pumpkin brulee. While it was good, it wasn't really anything all the special. I am not a religious person in any way, shape or form but the kitchen in this place has been graced by the hand of God, or they're hoarding Angels in the pantry who sprinkle heaven on each plate that leaves. I'm not even exaggerating, I promise. We've moved to Savannah from all corners of the globe and eaten all over the world, all across America at the best places to go, (we're not snobs by any means, we just like to eat) and this my friends, is one of our favourite places. We've been in town for a month and eaten here over 5 times already. Everything is good. Everything. From the chic decor, which pays tasteful homage to its humble beginnings as a bank, with its inviting bar and charming bartenders who whip up mouthwatering concoctions, to the food. Oh my stars, the food. We've eaten the old menu and the new menu and both are exquisite. Like I'd trade my first born child to eat there everyday. In fact I might see if they're into that kinda thing. The desserts are amazing. The dessert cocktails are amazing. This place is amazing. An excellent, upscale neighborhood restaurant, with a separate, but affiliated rooftop bar. With a limited menu, be sure that there is something for everyone in your party before you go. I strongly recommend making reservations, but cannot recommend the grilled steak strip. Ambient noise can get loud but at least you can't hear the conversation from neighboring tables. This was my favorite restaurant while visiting Savannah. It made for the perfect date night. From the ambience to the food, everything was amazing. The service was wonderful as well. Sparkling water for the table followed by our favourite cocktail...Kir Royale, bread real butter and to begin an amuse bouche. Our first course was seared sea scallop with a fried yuca cake, pickled peaches and a smoked peach gastrique. Our next dish was a smoked bison brisket served with a jimmy red corn polenta. This was followed by a fried squash blossom stuffed with pulled pork (my favourite) and lastly dessert. If tasting menus are your style ask for wine pairings. Ask to be seated in Kiara's section. I came in just for some drinks to their rooftop bar called the Perch. Every drink on the menu looked good and they have the drinks divided by the type of alcohol on the menu. If you like vodka and grapefruit, I would definitely recommend the "Crowd Pleaser" ($9). It's refreshing but is not too strong. If you like whiskey, try the "Blood Orange Old Fashion." ($12) It's good but taste really strong. The ambiance is romantic, perfect place for a date night. It's a little expensive but is worth it. read more

We had an awful dining experience here. We showed up a bit early for our reservation, so we went up to the roof to listen to live music. We had a glass of wine and cocktail on the roof deck. Our server was very nice, but kept coughing and removing his mask to speak to us. The beverages were good. We ordered the scallops and were immediately swarmed with flies when they arrived. The scallops smelled gross and were undercooked. We ate them anyway to try to keep the flies away. We later went downstairs for dinner to avoid the flies and were seated inside. We ordered the braised beef sliders for an appetizer. They tasted like they were filled with basic crockpot beef. The buns were huge and way out of proportion to the filling. Our entrees, the market fish (grouper) and the filet minion were both disgusting- the fish was raw in the center and the filet minion smelled/tasted very strange, like it was cooked in a microwave. The accoutrements for each dish were awful as well. There were small burned hunks of vegetables with the steak, which were intended to be Brussel sprouts. The fish was described as being served "blackened with blackened rice", but the neither the fish nor the rice were seasoned at all. The filet also came with roasted potatoes, which were fine. The service was fine. The food was absolutely terrible. read more

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Local 1110 in late November. We were running late and a bit rushed and had no reservations anywhere. We had dined at Local numerous times in the past and hoped there might be something available. To our delight we hurried in and found two seats at the bar. We were warmly greeted by two skilled cocktail masters who were both knowledgeable and engaging. They each made a few recommendations on the wine and the menu possibilities which we considered. We felt no pressure to order quickly or to move along. We knew we were in the right place. My bride enjoyed her vegetarian blue barley bowl while I had the roasted squash with pomegranate side dish with the small plate of house made garganelli with bolognese sauce. These were recommended by the bartenders. I had only one regret: that I had ordered the small plate of garganelli. I could easily have enjoyed a full plate. The bolognese was not over cooked, or overblown with tomato flavor. It was balanced, enhancing the perfectly cooked pasta. The squash was amazing. I'd never tasted such a combination before that evening. I paired the meal with an Italian blend. The bar servers knew well both the menu and the wine list. Tess, the General Manager has engaged a skilled and informed team at Local 1110. It is a pleasure to go to a restaurant where we can enjoy not only well prepared entrees but to have them served by professional staff. I would also add that it is a pleasure, increasingly rare, to be able to delight in both the meal and the service in an environment where we could have a conversation. The ambience was engaging yet wonderfully serene: music was not blaring, the lighting was quiet, and the noise level, well, was non-existent. Came here with my girlfriend on my first night of my MLK weekend vacation to Savannah. Restaurant space is very refined, clean, modern yet classy. Staff was very educated and professional. Quality of food is unprecedented and the taste is incredible. It is expensive, and portions are not large, but compared to other similar restaurants, the portions were "enough". I was charged $12 for water due to some miscommunication between the waitress and I, be sure to specify you want ice tap water, not sure how big of an issue this is. I notified restaurant management and they swiftly issued a refund, very professional. A must try in Savannah, in addition to Olde Pink house. I would come again. read more

I wish there were two scores one for food the other for service.. Food was a 10 service was a 0-1..... Food was superb!! I've been all over the world and I LOVE to eat...however there's only been two times I felt the need to tell everyone how delicious the food was and this is one of those times!!!!! We ate in Savannah the 2nd night in Savannah at The Pink House... And by far the food was better here! However the service was not. At local 11 ten we felt they could have cared less if we were there or not.. Our server was treading on the rude side. They knew it was our anniversary but they said nothing... Which is fine... But I thought at least the server wouldn't act like we were bothering him by sitting in his table.. With that being said we would go back... The food was amazing.. However just watch the servers prior to sitting to see who is nicer. read more

Local 11 ten was very delicious, the service was great, but the atmosphere was dreary. The lighting was too dark which could be appropriate if they were playing romantic music but they were not. Additionally, the music was loud and it was difficult to hear my girlfriend who was 3ft away. The food was delicious, I think it may be a bit on the pricy side given the lack of uniqueness. There was not much to set it(main course) aside from other 4 star restaurants that would make the food unique. However, the pate(starter) was very worth it. That is one item on their menu that is very unique to the restaurant and they could charge more for. Overall the food was delicious but still not much to set it apart. The drinks were over poured. At $10 a drink I expected much more. Aside from those few issue everything else was great! I would recommend local 11 ten to anyone who is looking for a modern dining experience and is willing to splurge a bit. read more

I recently discovered this place on a business trip to Savannah. If you only go to ONE restaurant in Savannah, go here. The rooftop bar was cozy, and the gin mule was well made. The ambience was lovely and quiet (I'm anti-loud restaurants where you have to scream to each other). The food was amazing and the best meal I had in Savannah. The castelvetrano olives are DOPE. MUST get. The charcuterie plate was good (but needs more mustard). As for the entree, I got the duck (duck a l'orange, cured and seared duck breast, pulled confit leg, puffed farro cake, salsify, orange reduction, bigarade sauce). The dessert was meh. I didn't love the PB&J but the sorbet was delicious. Overall, an amazing experience. Thank you, Local 11 Ten! (I want to steal the chef and bring him back to the Twin Cities. We visited on May 30. We had a reservation and were seated right away at a table that was definitely more than 6' distanced from neighboring tables, so that was already a plus. This was our first indoor dining experience at a restaurant since the pandemic hit. The staff did such a good job being cautious I never felt even the tiniest bit uncomfortable. The rosemary lemon martini I had to start was delicious and my husband had high praise for his last word cocktail. I also had a glass of the Prisoner red blend later on and loved that they offer this wine by the glass. It's always been one of my favorites and is usually only available to purchase by the bottle if a restaurant even has it. The food was sooo good!! My husband ordered the warm olives to start. I have tried many different types of olives over the years and never been a fan. I tried these and really, truly enjoyed them. Who knew I could like an olive! These olives are special for sure~ I highly recommend this appetizer!! We both had salads and the mushroom risotto for our main course. The risotto was exceptional~ the mushroom element was present but subtle which I appreciated because at times I find restaurants can overload a dish w/ mushrooms. The grilled vegetables on the side were drizzled w/ a bit of balsamic, which clashed w/ my risotto once or twice but it wasn't the end of the world. Our server did a wonderful job of being available and attentive but not overly so, which I think is an especially challenging balance to strike in these pandemic times. Incredibly open, elegant & friendly venue and atmosphere. (LOVED the Perch rooftop bar.) Enjoyed a variety of unique, fun, and refreshing dinner cocktails and mocktails. Jalapeño Lime Spritzer, Gin & Blackberry and the Blood-Orange Mojito were all delicious, we'd highly recommend them and happily order them again. All of the food seemed perfectly prepared and politely proportional. The amuse-bouche we were served as we prepared for our meal gave our dinner an elevated, extra fancy feel. A very impressive gesture for sure. From the fresh bread, to the mussels, all the way back around to the Mac & cheese, you can't go wrong. The Caesar salad was a huge hit (especially topped with crispy duck). Brussel sprouts ended up being a staple at our dinner table, and agreeably delicious. Do yourself a favor and order the charred corn chowder soup de jour, it was amazing. The roast chicken & truffle vinaigrette was super tasty. (We could truthfully go on and on about the food, it was so good.) Our waitress was fabulously fantastic. Friendly, informative & efficient. She handled our large table like an expert, it's always such a nice feeling when you receive exceptional service. We're confident in recommending this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a fine dining and delicious experience. Their prices are not hidden, they're shown on their website as well as on the menu, which is wonderful. You can go into the dinner with the expectations to splurge for a date night, as it's not inexpensive, and not worry because it's definitely worth it. The service has that great balance of not-too-intrusive and not-too-inattentive. The music tops it off with a great ambiance. This makes it a great date spot, small group spot, or place to entertain for business. And speaking of business, you'll want to come here on an expense account. The prices are a little high. Not distractingly high given the quality of the experience, just "I'd come here more often if they were a little lower" high. My friend had the pulled smoked suckling pig, vince baker mustard greens, toasted almonds, romesco. Wife had the Cesear salad without the anchoives which they charge an extra $2 for....wo'd pay extra for fish bait ? Entrees were Crabcakes & Grouper which were both very good. The crab came with a really pink and creamy gazpacho, brioche (think fried Challah) and roma tomatoes. For once I skipped dessert because we went to The Chocolate Bar (the best dessert place in City) Liked the vibe, liked the food, and especially the fact that it doesn't take a robbery to afford eating here. read more

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! You can't top the food or the service at this place. The waitress was extremely friendly and professional. She handled herself like a pro and came across as articulate and intelligent. It made it easy for us to trust her suggestions. I had the socca and my boyfriend had the duck confit. On top of both dishes being incredibly tasty, I consider both dishes to be relatively rare offerings. I have only seen socca being offered in the south of France and honestly the socca I had last night was better than what I've had in France. We split the rum cake. The cake was good and its best feature was the home made frosting. I recommend it. Oh and before I forget-the rooftop bar was awesome. Great cocktails and great atmosphere.
