Skillet....if it comes out in a skillet..guess what..it's hot‍ Lamb was excellent and paired perfect with Everything on the plate. Boiled, lol show me how you can charred something from boiling. This place is amazing From appetizers, Caesar salad like no other and soon the rack of lamb...stay tuned....ok wow, the lamb was cooked perfect but the charred roasted vegetables and tomatoes in a skillet with I think cheese and something else was to die for. Service here saved the day, truly, I'm lactose intolerant and every restaurant is a problem because there's always some surprise dairy hidden in a meal with no indication and almost no restaurants actually indicate this. I was considering a couple things here but wasn't sure which one would be safe to eat. When I asked our server saved the day. She pulled out a *hand written menu* with every conceivable piece of information relevant to People's food restrictions. Local 11 Ten was our first restaurant for a long weekend and we were really excited to dine here. It's a solid 4 star-spot. Dinner was delicious, the tomatoes and corn were a stand-out dish that we shared. The mussels were great, too. Service was *fine.* Friendly and *fine.* Like we had no problems but nothing that made me think oh my gosh this server is amazing or anything. I've seen mention of the aesthetic in here, and y'all it's an opposite mullet... like party in the front and business out back - we were seated in the back room which had lovely windows, but felt like we were in a cold conference room or something. Like no jazz - banquet seating that seemed kind of close together, not Paris close, but like, we aren't in Paris, we're in Savannah. My takeaway would be to put this on your list for a progressive type of evening, snag drinks and appetizers here, preferably at the bar, and then head out. read more

We made reservations for an 8pm dinner the Friday of Labor Day weekend to meet some friends. We arrived just north of our reservation time, and were invited to either be seated at our table or to take some time to enjoy a drink on the rooftop. We opted to wait for our friends on the rooftop and were so glad we took some time to enjoy the light breezes and delicious wine up there. The trees gently curve over the front edge of the rooftop and the up-lighting and city buildings in the background just set a great (and different) scene in which to enjoy your favorite cocktail. Once our friend arrived, we were seated in "the vault" which was a great table! Our server was absolutely wonderful, professional and patient as we took forever to decide what to enjoy for starters and entrees. Equally as hospitable was the GM, Tess, who showed us exemplary service as she did her table touches around the restaurant. My husband had the scallops, a long-time favorite of his, and I had the catch of the day. His scallops were cooked perfectly, and I could not get enough of my dinner. It was beautifully prepared and perfectly cooked, and the flavor combinations were complex and perfectly balanced. Out of the dessert specials offered to us, we decided to split 'the apple", which was actually a white chocolate confection filled with this amazing apple-tart-meets-chutney filling that was absolutely amazing. Few places in Savannah could come close to topping the presentation and favor profile of this dish! It made my autumn-loving heart so happy. I was the only new comer to Local 11 Ten in our group, and I can confidently say that as a local, I will be back. That rooftop bar could easy become a favorite spot! read more

The waitress was lovely and the space great. The food was just okay. Overall, the service was slow and disconnected. The bar service was dreadful -- 20 minutes to get a second drink (not kidding, had to as twice). The food came out inconsistently and was pretty mediocre. At check out they didn't provide a break down of the items we ordered for dinner with the check. And it was expensive. But rather than create a fuss, we paid and left. The waitress was nice. I will not come back here or recommend it. A poor experience in an amazing town. They may be short of staff, they may wish to re-think their staffing policy if that's the case. Some bus people and extra waiters/bar staff would go a long way. There is a community they can pull from. read more

Have to say, I was not very impressed with Local 11 Ten and was expecting more. First off, wonderful decor and great choices on the menu. Came with a bachelorette party for a fancy dinner before an evening out on the town. We had a party of 6, and service was very slow. Took us a total of 2 hours to dine. We started off with salads and complimentary bread which was delicious. With entrees, most at the table ordered the steak, cooked perfectly for each however they were cold. At that point and to our slow service we didn't say anything about this because we felt it would take longer and we had plans after dinner. Not impressed by the Mac and cheese, it was just like macaroni and butter (not worth ordering). Our waiter brought us complementary dessert to split over the table for our special occasion which was a great touch! Overall, our experience didn't match the high reviews we had. Nice people and friendly service but the food was meh, The men who had steak said it was over cooked but tasty. Most of us had the mahi mahi or the curry with mahi- mahi . It is with much sadness write this as was looking forward to this meal as liked multiple dishes on the summer menu. It started out well with good cocktail. First sign of not good was out of pork Shoulder. Did not get told this until 5 minutes after ordered. Had already ordered app so stuck having my two courses not compliment. The app came out and scallops overcooked and mushroom And vegetable did not go well with it. I did like the mushroom but left the veg. Then ordered a beer which they also did not have and closest thing was a lighter beer. My halibut which was fish of day was overcooked and cheese overpowered it. The duck was both over and undercooked as past medium rare without getting that crispy skin that duck needs. On final note and though it did not affect meal does reflect on restaurant is server claimed sparkling water was Swedish when it is British. My guy hasn't stopped raving about this meal we had here a couple weeks ago! He said it was the best meal he's had in a long time, maybe years. Says a lot coming from a person who eats out in Charleston regularly. In addition! The space was so relaxed and easy going I almost forgot we weren't in our own intimate space. We had reservations early (6pm) and were considerately seated in the front right corner of the restaurant where the skeleton of the former bank is clearly visible. We shared the mussels which blew our minds. They were not only large and clean, but prepared to perfection and allowed themselves to be vessels for the scrumptious chorizo broth. Fresh home-made focaccia was another great vehicle for the flavors. Thoroughly enjoyed sharing the Grouper with saffron spaghetti squash and Prime Steak entrees. Phenomenal and as mentioned, still talking about the dishes. Will replicate but likely will be back to enjoy once again! Also don't pass up on the deserts-- the chocolate mouse with cream and crumbles was divine. After all this and sparkling water we did not feel bloated or over indulged, with a take away box to spare for later snacking. Yes. What a nice restaurant...large yet intimate space with lots of contemporary design in a charming Savannah flair. The acoustics were good and conversation was easy. The service was attentive and top notch, professional. I was with a group and we shared several appetizers including a cheese board and the spicy mussels. The mussels stood out as exceptional and well worth trying. For my entree I had rabbit, albeit a bit dry, the overall taste and texture was good. What really stood out was the bed of field peas. Wonderful! I rarely have dessert as you might detect from my reviews but I tried the rice pudding and was quite pleased. As opposed to being in a bowl or cup it was straight up in a block on a plate with a egg of ice cream and a cracker on top. Delicious. The wine list is broad enough although the mark up appears high. Quiet, super romantic restaurant with amazing food. It is on the pricey side but worth it for its detail. The small plate appetizers are said to be for one person but the portion was large. I ordered the duck confit and I only finished my scallop entree out of pure gluttony. Everything was delicious. The service was outstanding. The waitress knew every item on the menu and how it was prepared. I was actually impressed as she went around my table of 10 people and answered every question. She also told us that the menu changes every couple of weeks so I will go back to see what else they come up with. read more

My starter salad was bigger than my pricey entree. Almost $40 for scallops and there were only 3 on the plate with a few random peppers and that was it. I was still hungry after. One of the best restaurants in Savannah, hands down. Martinis are superb. Absolutely loved the watermelon martini and the rosemary martini. We came as a group of 10 which they accommodated well. We had a combination of vegans, vegetarians, and non veg people and they had something for everyone on the menu. Although limited on the vegan options they made a broccoli dish which I can only describe as a broccoli steak which several people ordered and everyone tried and I don't how broccoli could be so good. I can't really understand the high reviews for this restaurant. I was completely underwhelmed by every single dish we had. And we tried a lot as we came in a big group. Rating from 1-5 Family friendly = 3 Food = 2.5 Atmosphere = 4 Service = 5 What we ordered Duck app = 1 this was likely the worse. For a fine dinning establishment the 3 little pieces of duck we received smelled awful. Had I never had duck before, I'd certainly never want to try it again. Lucky for me this wasn't the case. I truly had a hard time just getting it down. Tuna app = 3 this was likely the best part of the meal aside the wine. To be fair it's hard to mess up seared tuna. Although the slices were too thick and not delicate enough for a tuna app. Cheese board and charcuterie board = 2 standard and unimaginative. Lamb rack = 2 I was shocked at how tough the lamb was. I think I'm going to stop ordering lamb in general because it really does appear most restaurants no matter what the claim, very few can do a good lamb chop. It was also served with a sweet sauce which resembled syrup, not a good companion for lamb. The side of carrots were also truly out of place since it wasn't caramelized but more hard boiled. Even more strange was the Clear lack of platting strategy for this dish. The two giant lamb racks is served on a plate, crisscross over a miniature cast iron pan to containing some sort of mush. I burned my fingers to to remove the pan, since there was no way I cut my giant lamb chops with this thing in the middle. Note to chef, when dish includes burning hot cast iron pan, perhaps try to serve it separately from the main dish. Grits = 1 I tried a bit of the grits which was made with some orange cheese, this was nothing like southern grits I've had in the past. I must say, I preferred the low country $2 grits compared to this mushy mess. The chef should truly rethink his approach to this menu. I'm sure there are some who really do like it, but it lacks the refinement you find at similar restaurants in larger cities. Had it not been for the wonderful company we were blessed with, this dinner would be 1 star. read more

4 of us went there for dinner last night. The service was a 2.5 and the food was a 3, but as I can't give partial stars I am being generous with 3. We were seated right away, however when our server was taking our order, he was more interested in looking at who was entering the restaurant and out the window than giving his attention to us. 2 of us ordered the ribeye and 1 had the filet. The ribeye was supposed to be medium, however, it was over cooked and a bit dry. The filet was supposed to be medium/well, but was delivered rare. We sent it back, but when it returned, it was still pretty rare. Our server said the cook told him when he cooked it, it was medium. You can decide for yourself, I have posted a picture. We ordered a peach dessert and when we were ready to settle up, they comp'd The dessert to make up for the incorrect meat temperature. Probably not a place I would return to. read more

Came here for our last dinner in Savannah. The restaurant has a really cool vibe and was clean. Our waitress was very friendly. I had Caesar salad to start and the hanger steak as my entree. The salad was good, but nothing special (which was what I was expecting)- a simple Caesar with the addition of green olives and bacon. The bacon was very smoky, which added great flavor to the salad. The hangar steak was very tender and flavorful. It was cooked to perfection. There was blueberry and mushroom, potatoes and a cheese sauce on the side. All the components tasted great separately and together. My husband had the squid and pork belly appetizer with corn bread. It was so tasty! He ordered the scallops for his entree. They were seared well and cooked perfectly. The flavor of the entree was excellent. We did not order dessert because we were too full; however, their menu did look like it had a great selection! Good selection of wine and cocktails as well. I would definitely recommend this place to someone looking for a nice dinner spot. $100 for two entrees, excluding drinks...we were early so we had drinks on the rooftop and it was super hot so we got slushee cocktails. It's a very weak drink...I was hoping it would be stronger. Then we went downstairs to have dinner...ordered butcher's selection which I believe it was a ribeye (boyfriend's meal, not mine) and I had the scallops and brussels sprouts. I requested the garlic butter sauce and that tasted like just plain unsalted butter, so no flavor. The ribeye and the scallops were well-cooked aka not overcooked but it's just lacking the flavor crystals which would end the meal with a big bang and they can get 5 stars...maybe if the waiter does well. Speaking of the waitress, she was very dull...didn't bring excitement to the dining experience at all. Before we were sat down and knew she was our waitress, she almost ran into me with forks and knives. Oh...this was my anniversary dinner as I mentioned when I booked RSVP. Did they even get the memo? I didn't even get a celebratory mention or anything. In addition, they don't use A/C here because it's almost 100 degrees outside and we're sweating inside while trying to eat so we had to leave early with our food before we passed out. Missed the mark. Started out very well. Great table bread with adequately tasting butter, nothing special. The spicy muscles were excellent. The main courses, however were awful. The presentation alone literally looked like someone vomited on a plate and threw a chunk of fish in the middle. The scallops had a very unpleasant odor. For a very limited menus restaurant, every dish on there better be a superlative. Obviously, wasn't! The ambiance was fair and the service was fairly nice. But for all the hype, highly underwhelming, anticlimactic, and disappointing with a capital D! Please look at the date of the review. This restaurant may have been something a year or two ago, but it certainly "ain't that no mo!" Maybe another victim of the pandemic, I don't know. The mussels were delicious! Fish stew was pretty good but a little hard to eat with large pieces of veggies. The lamb skewer was also very good and cooked properly (I find often lam skewers are overcooked). Service was excellent and I appreciated that our waitress wore a mask. Nice ambiance. read more
