Ate here for a late lunch. Not my favorite meal but mainly because my food was very salty. I had the tenderloin sandwich and onion rings and only ate a few onion rings and couldn't eat any more. Great homemade eating! You can tell they pour their soul into the food and restaurant. The do have grill cheese and corn dogs for kids. Family had catfish, walking taco, hamburger steak. Best food and service I had on my trip to Branson! The place is fairly large, and our server Ashley was extremely warm and welcoming. I had the chicken club with their famous chicken fried chicken and it was tasty and very tender. I was able to add chili and cheese to my fries which was nice, but definitely the type of fries that would also be delicious with some vinegar. The chicken fried chicken was juicy and the batter was light and crunchy! The fries were obviously real fresh cut potatoes. Pulling up to this establishment gives me a sense of a good southern eatery. The inside of the restaurant, the ambience is beautifully decorated. Bathroom is so clean and smells great. The fried okra was very good and so too were the hand cut fries, although it might be time to change the grease, as sandwiches and fries were very greasy. I would add pickles to the sandwich and put the mayonnaise on the side, way too much mayonnaise on the bun. One last thing; my wife asked if she could substitute fried okra for the fries since they both were the same price on the menu and they gladly did but then charged us for the one for one substitution..... seriously?
