They had the best sweet tea with black berry. It was sooo delicious! We enjoyed all the food. Love the diner or home cooked meals! It had a homey feeling. The peanut butter pie was wonderful! The service was just average, the waitress just seemed annoyed.

We came here today for dinner. We called for reservations and when got there got seated right away. Place was crowded and there was a live singer. I got fish plate- everything was tasty except the hash puppies. Husband got the carnivore burger and said it was very flavorful, but was not fan of the fries. Kid 1 got grilled cheese and said it was good. k Kid 2 got cheeseburger, but let's be honest, she just wanted the fries and enjoyed those very much. Our server was lovely and very helpful.

Amazing spot right in the heart of Branson and one this celiac gal was super excited to try! I found this spot through my find me gluten free app. They had a dedicated fryer for the fried gluten free items.... Say what!! We all enjoyed our meal and will make this a normal stop for our Branson adventures! Oh.... And they have live music in the evenings. Starting at 5 I do believe! It has the feel of a "country farmhouse" that feels more like a home than a typical tourist restaurant. It's cozy and bustling, featuring live music that provides a lively backdrop to the meal. Because it's a favorite for both locals and visitors, there was a wait, but the friendly service makes it worth it.

Breaded pork tenderloins have always been my favorite sandwich. I've had them in many places over 70 years but none better than this one. If you too are a lover of the tenderloin or have never had one in your life. Put a pin in the map for Local Flavor Branson, MO. Best ever, you won't regret it. Everything on the menu is excellent.

We loved 'Local Flavor' and are so glad we stumbled across it! We ate at a nearby restaurant the day prior and struggled to eat the meal. We're worried this would be another tourist trap with frozen food. Completely the opposite! We immediately loved the vibe by just looking at their outdoor/indoor signs. They definitely have a sense of humor with a side of sarcasm and we loved it! The atmosphere was nice - very homey. The owner was working the host stand and all over the walls and napkin holders are family pictures and drawings from (presumed grandkids). You immediately feel like you're being welcoming into someone's home in the best way. Service was great and the food was even better! We got 3 chicken fried steaks and they were hand breaded with lots of flavor. The cream corn was delicious! We ended with the cheesecake which was similar to how I would imagine a cheesecake pie. It was SO GOOD! We are big cheesecake fans and while this was different than expected, we loved it! Only thing that could have made this dinner better....adding Mac and cheese to the menu :P Great dinner and will definitely be back!

Did not know where to go for a home cooked meal. Found this small place among busy places and hunny had salad and I had the salmon dinner. Just the right servings. Not bad prices compared to other restaurants that were known by name. We would come again! Staff was kind and friendly

Just finished dining at Local Flavor and it was extremely good. All the servers were so pleasant and seemed to enjoy being there! We had the jelly fried Brussel sprouts and tenderloin diner with mashed potatoes and gravy which were perfect. On top of all that the atmosphere of this place was so well done and gives you an "at home" feeling! Lastly we called over Michelle, the owner, to let her know how pleasant everything was and now we know why her employees, food and atmosphere were so good because they resemble her. Great job!!! We will stop here again even before we leave the area.

Wasn't impressed, with all the good reviews expected better. Wife got a meal that the menu said it came with green beans. When she didn't receive we asked and were told it didn't come with the meal. Another table of three left most of their food on the plate untouched. The gentleman was using napkins to remove grease from his meat. read more

You will not be disappointed in whatever you order. For starters we tried the fried pickles. I'm not into that but wowzer they are delicious. The Chicken fried chicken sandwich is awesome and I got onion rings to go with it. We loved this place so much we went back the next day. I got the Cherry Cheese cake for dessert. We loved it! Great atmosphere, polite staff. We had pepper jack bites and fried green tomatoes for the appetizer. Both were excellent. The we had the hamburger steak and chicken fried steak. Yum! We'll be back again to try some of the delicious looking desserts. No room today, I'm full and my wife is taking home enough for another meal. Enjoy! read more

Very good lunch and nice staff. They were a bit short-staffed so had to wait a bit to be seated. Food was thoughtfully made. Had chicken salad sandwich and the chicken club. Both were good and very large servings. We opted for a side salad instead of fries. Salad was good. There was an up charge for the salad. Would recommend as a good solid choice when visiting the strip in Branson. read more

They were very accommodating to our softball team (total of 50 with parents/players/coaches). They had an area for us when we arrived. The service outstanding!!! They were so patient and very nice. Food came out in timely manner, it was hot, and correct. The fried green tomatoes were awesome! The mashed potatoes were homemade and very tasty. Everyone left full and happy. read more

Came in at 230 into afternoon, lots of waitresses and maybe half of the tables were filled. Waited a long time to take our drink order and again a long wait to take our order. Ordered a salad with chicken and my husband had a burger. Food took about 20 minutes to come out, waitress never came to refill drinks and didn't seem to be busy with other tables. Didn't even see her to ask for refills. For over 15.00 my salad was small, large plate with 2 handfuls of lettuce, cheese and croutons. Chicken was fried nuggets and they were underseasoned and barely warm. My husband's burger was also room temperature. We were hungry and ate it. Waitress came back a long while after our plates were empty. Put our check on the table. We said we were hoping to order desert and ask what pies were available. Named off 3 and said there was more but they change daily and she couldn't remember the others. Seriously! Asked to look at menu and she rudly said deserts aren't on the menu, they change daily! Opted for cheesecake. She snatched our check back and brought us a piece of cheesecake in a Togo box with one set of silverware and our check! Again Seriously! Asked for 2 metal forks to eat our desert. The cheesecake was amazing but not good enough to make up for cold food and a terrible waitress. So many better options in Branson read more

The farm burger was very good and my wife enjoyed to jalapeño burger. My pickiest child said it was the best grilled cheese he ever had! Also kids chicken strips were good. Nice owners working the restaurant made it feel like home. Owner also have my son a slice of pie for his birthday. read more

First, I feel like I am being quite generous with the three star rating. My wife and I decided to go here as we prefer non-chain restaurants while vacationing. When we arrived, it was not busy and we were promptly seated. The waitress seemed a bit harried and took our order. She never actually greeted us or provided her name. I ordered a Frito pie and my wife ordered the grown up grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup. She was informed that they did not have the soup and asked if she would like fries instead. The food was brought to the table and the waitress brought broccoli cheese soup instead of the fries. My wife told her that she would rather have the fries. The fries were later brought but were brown leaning towards black and tasted burned. The grilled cheese and Frito pie were both very good. An adjustment was made to the bill for the fries and I paid and left a tip. I later regretted leaving the tip as the waitress just turned and walked briskly away without so much as a "good bye", "have a nice evening", or an apology for the problem. I don't think we will be back anytime soon. As a side note, there was a 'one-man band' playing (not very good) who made conversation quite difficult. read more

Huge shoutout to John, Hillary, and Pope--they're a big reason this place feels so welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care and it shows in every interaction. Ozark Mountain Pizza came up as an option not far from where we were staying so I decided to try it. I ordered online the first time (yes we ordered multiple times). It took no time for our order to be ready and it was waiting when I picked it up. I couldn't wait to get home to try the garlic knots so I popped one in my mouth in the car. Divine! It was garlicky, pillowy, and delicious! When I got back to the resort (less a couple garlic knots), we popped open the pizza box and the salad. When I say that I have never seen such fresh lettuce in my life, I am not kidding. It was green and not full of big old chunks of lettuce ribs. It was PERFECT! The pizza was also perfect. Crust pillowy like the garlic knots. Perfect amount of greasy deliciousness. The SECOND time was a few days later when we called and ordered delivery. Same order as before with different toppings on the pizza. Our order taker was very pleasant despite us debating back and forth amongst ourselves the 10:30pm delivery time (it was 9:00pm at the time) and figuring out toppings. It is a true testament that we ordered despite the late arrival time. The delivery driver was super nice and had no problems finding us in our complex. The food result was the same as before - delicious! I can't recommend them enough!

Local Flavor in Branson is a true gem, serving up the most incredible chicken fried chicken and some of the best fried pickles I've ever tasted. Even during a busy evening, the staff was incredibly accommodating, seating us upstairs and checking in often to make sure we had everything we needed. The service was warm, welcoming, and full of that Southern hospitality that makes you feel right at home. We also loved the live music, which added the perfect touch to an already great atmosphere. This place is a great place to eat right in the heart of Branson! Went there after a long day a Silver Dollar City and was not disappointed. The hamburger steak was delicious and the salads we had were fresh and light. The owner was there too and she was awesome, our baby boy needed some milk and even though it wasn't listed on the menu, she had some brought out to us. Will not go here - owners can't take constructive criticism - they almost cuss out reviewers instead of taking a step back and looking for ways to improve It doesn't take much to appease a reviewer most times - try an I'm sorry you had a not so great experience, usually we are better than that won't you try again - maybe the cook or waitress had an off night read more

We were in Branson last month (first time ever) and for a Veteran reunion. We met friends there for dinner. Loved the restaurant!!! The food was great, as well as the service. They have local people (very talented) that play there. And, this restaurant could not have a better name, as the local flavor was a 10 out of 10. read more

Where to start? Owners and staff were super friendly and attentive, the restaurant was busy but staff successfully kept things moving so the wait for us was short as well as two large groups that walked in at about the same time.
