We've worked three times with local local plumbing and both experiences were excellent. The owner Khoung is absolutely the best! He's been great to work with, very knowledgeable, respectful, honest and good at what he does. They weren't big jobs but he got them done fast and efficiently and charged what he quoted us. He replaced some water valves in the kitchen, installed a p-trap under our sink and replaced the wax ring for our toilet. We live in community with an HOA and every time we have one of our HOA plumbers come in something else would go wrong. For example the HOA plumbers used an industrial auger to unclog our pipe and in clearing the clog cracked our pipe which resulted in them replacing the pipe. They also didn't properly attach the new pipe to our sink so it was leaking. We called Khoung who came out to put the proper fixture on the sink and reattach it and he got the job done quickly. Every time I've worked with him he's flexible, on time and does great quality work. I would highly recommend local local plumbing for any upcoming plumbing projects. read more

The latest was a water leak ... in the wall. You know how you can hear when a toilet runs? We heard that sound, in the wall, in between our two back to back bathrooms. It started Sun night. Called Steve Mon, could we wait until Wed am? Sure. No water in the house. Didn't occur to me until Tues am, that I could shut off the hot water to the bathrooms, which indeed is where the problem was. Steve said the flooding under the house wasn't too bad. It's usually out of desperation and you need help now. Steve is honest, friendly and fair. Steve won't be the guy that leaves before the job is finished. Hello All, First time I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Steve was a call for help when our laundry flooded the garage not once but twice. We didn't realize the kitchen was connected to laundry, so when we washed the dishes, it flooded the garage again. Posted a request for quote via Yelp and Steve came to our rescue!! On a Sunday afternoon. He tried to snake the clogged pipes but it was no use, as they were packed solid.. see photo's He recommended the waste pipes needed to be replaced and said he'd be back in the morning. Right on time and again friendly attitude. Once he was under the house he noticed a few things.. the cast iron drain pipe from the hall bathtub was leaking and had a huge hole. Also there was a lot of pipes hanging down with the wrong materials used prior plumbers, not to mention the debris. Steve fixed it all!! My kitchen sink was backing up causing it to flood onto the floor. I used Yelp to get quotes from multiple plumbers and Khuong was the fastest to respond and came out the very next day to look at the pipes. He explained that this would be a quick job no problem, but for the cost, if I were to buy my own toilet, he'd just do this install and charge for labor, coming out to just a little more for a brand new toilet. Steve has helped me twice with plumbing issues. The first time, I needed to repair main water pipe that was being bent by an overgrown tree. He was one of the first quotes to respond back to me via text, and came almost immediately to do an estimate. His price was fair, and he was honest, so I decided to go ahead with him. He arrived early (texted me that he was on his way), quickly explained what he was going to do, and got to work, finishing efficiently and doing a nice-clean job. The cost was exactly what was quoted. He cleaned up and put everything back in its place before leaving, always being very friendly and attentive to my questions. Two days later I noticed that one of the connections had a tiny, almost not even noticeable, drip. I called Kuong, and he came out immediately to correct it. I called Steve at 4:14pm with a stuck drain, and he drove away before 6pm, leaving me with a bathtub (and kitchen sink) draining better than it ever had before. My house was built in 1947, and it is a bit funky. It took some extra work to get this done, and he did it without a complaint. Steve fiddled with the tub (and reassured me that I wasn't imagining the stuck stopper that prevented getting a snake through there) and fiddled with the kitchen drain and wound up on the roof trying to hydro-jet the drain through the vents. When that didn't work, he snaked everything from under the kitchen sink.
