It was my first time at this location and I had a great experience! Our server, Zach, really took care of us well. So attentive, friendly, and welcoming. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt welcomed from the host, to the servers, to all staff. The food is good as always, with such generous portions. We went there around brunch hours, surprisingly, it wasn't packed. So it was a nice, easygoing environment. They didn't have the Brussels sprouts as a side option on the menu, but Zach made it happen.

"Worth the Wait: Good Vibes and Amazing Plates" 02-01-2026 Local Table is a chic, hip, and cool spot that serves a variety of delicious dishes with great customer service. It's kind of the perfect mix of fancy and casual, depending on your mood, you can come in dressed up or keep it comfy and still fit right in. I've visited several times and my experiences are always pleasant, but this was my first time coming on a Sunday afternoon. I came with my husband, my daughter, and her male friend, and whew... the place was ridiculously packed. When I checked in, the host told us the wait would be about 30-45 minutes. We were fine with that, and we ended up getting seated right at the 30-minute mark, which honestly isn't bad at all for a Sunday crowd. Customer service was great as always. I can't remember our server's name, but he was friendly and welcoming. He fell a little short on attentiveness at times, but overall we still had a great time. What really surprised me was how clean and well-kept the restaurant was, even with how packed it was. So shout-out to the team for staying on top of things and keeping everything organized. Now let's talk ambiance; the vibe was lively, upbeat, and full of energy. From the moment we walked in, there was laughter, nonstop chatter, and servers moving quickly, just good vibes all around. It feels neighborhood-friendly and warm like a local hangout, but it still gives upscale and chic vibes too. The food is always amazing: full of flavor and served piping hot. The only complaint came from my daughter with the beef on her kabob plate. It wasn't well done and was still pink inside when she cut into it. She didn't send it back; she just took it home and popped it in the oven for a few minutes to finish cooking it. She loved it and said that it was very flavorsome and mouthwatering and that the vegetables and rice tasted astoundingly delectable. Honestly, I do think servers should ask customers how they want their beef cooked, because not everyone likes medium-rare meat. Some people (like my daughter) prefer it well done. Overall, Local Table is the spot for a Sunday afternoon if you're looking for high energy, a vibrant atmosphere, and delicious food. They also have healthy, vegan-friendly options, which I love. I highly recommend it. Just a heads-up: parking can be limited in the front, but there's plenty of parking behind the building. Great spot if you're in the Cypress area. Parking was a pain, as it always is in these "town center" type places. So plan on dropping off your crew and taking a little stroll to get back. Loved the outdoor patio! It's dog-friendly, and I'm all about that as my pup travels with me everywhere (more flight miles than most people). It was super busy, full-packed when I went on a weeknight, but even so, our service was good. They brought water for the pup as well. Drinks were great. Very refreshing and not overly sweet. We had the Briar Patch Sour [Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Blackberry Puree, lime juice, Angostura Orange Bitters, lemon mint foam] and the Spicy Pineapple Margarita [Pineapple jalapeno infused Lunazul Blanco Tequila, pineapple juice, triple sec, house-made sour mix, agave nectar]. Could have easily drank more than one ;) We shared the Green Chile Shrimp Ceviche [Guacamole, cucumbers, homestyle tortilla chips, cilantro] to start. It was decent. Pull your chips out quick as they get soggy if not, and no one likes soggy chips! For dinner, I opted for the Honey Ginger-Glazed Salmon [Sustainable salmon, basmati lentil rice, turmeric roasted, seasonal vegetables, garlic toast], and it was also good. So yeah - I like this spot! And if I found myself in the area - I'd probably go again.

I should have written a review for this place a long time ago because I'm definitely a regular! Especially on a pretty day -- sitting outside is such a vibe. Let me start with the food and the menu -- always on point. It's simple, yet somehow so satisfying every single time. The drinks are great, with a really good variety at the bar. And I have yet to encounter a rude member of the waitstaff there. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, which is hard to find. I'm a regular and will continue to be as long as they keep running things the way they do. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants good food, good service, and decent prices.

Came in with my friend on a Monday around mid-day. They were pretty busy, so we decided to sit by the bar. The bartender was super friendly and attentive the entire time despite how busy she was. My friend and I both ordered the strawberry spritz and it was very refreshing, not overly sweet at all. As an entree I ordered the lemon pasta with shrimp, it was good the flavor of the pasta was nice and the shrimp was cooked well. I'm not a fan of capers, so I should've asked for them to be removed but other than that the pasta was very good. My friend ordered the gyro with fries and she enjoyed her food as well. Overall, I'd say this is a good casual lunch spot.

I found this place on a whim while looking for a place to stop and grab a bite on the way back to Austin. I'm so happy I found it because everything was great! We tried the Ahi Tuna Tostadas (special menu), Ahi Tuna Tartare, soup of the day (Tortilla Soup), Lemon Pasta with shrimp and the Asian Chicken Salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the pasta and my brother said the Asian Chicken Salad was the best he's ever had. Portion sizes were on the smaller side of the scale. Our server was very nice and patient with us (2 of the 3 of us have severe food allergies). There were a few TVs, so if you're a sport watcher, that's an option for you. I really appreciated the openness and brightness of the space. Hopefully they'll venture out into central Texas!

Might have to park around back as there is limited parking up front. Place is clean, staff are friendly. We ordered the kebab plate and spinach dip, and lemon pasta. First of all the pasta was unexpectedly spicy, wasn't a fan. The bf had the kebab plate which he said was just ok as the food was lacking flavor/seasoning. The spinach dip was good and they gave extra chips. I would give this place another try and check out other things on the menu.

Totally loved the experience ! The food tasted so good! The staff was kind and smiling. The ambiance was easy and comfortable. Yay for an overall great time! This was about mid afternoon. They placed the two of us on a two seater booth. So cushy! Promptly served with water and menus. We started the southerquesadillas: they are a great appetizer to share ! Crispy skin but not crumbling, with a scoop of avocado. Yum! Next, we chose the Mediterranean fusion bowl. So well balanced with a bit of basmati rice, a bit of brown rice, brussels sprouts, squash, guacamole, beans, topped with aioli sauce ! Really really feels good, tasty and fulfilling. Also, picked the shrimp tacos with a side of black beans. And their side of fries... Just order it. Yes, just because. Crispyyyy, almost like double fried ? Great portion to share or not. Delicious. Really satisfying. They have TV's above their bars to watch the games if you wish. It's super family friendly, group friendly, date or solo. Accommodating for all! And because it was our first time, we were given a quick presentation of the business. Local Bar across the street is theirs too! How cool. Hope they'll open a location in town! Otherwise, I'll be back.

In short Local Table and Local Bar (across the street) are absolute wins for Cypress. If you're coming from North Cypress, know both are located in Bridgeland, so plan for the drive, but there's plenty to do once you're in the area, Bridgeland being the beauty that it is. Anyways, I'd taken a break from Local Table, after moving further away, but thought it'd be a quieter option to watch the Texans game last night. It delivered on providing a quieter, less crowded atmosphere compared to the bar. Plus, their bar on this night was spacious and relatively empty. Yes, there were more children and couples, but it's hard to beat a peaceful game experience sitting at the open air bar. The food and drink were solid overall. While I think the cucumber basil gimlet needs a bit more work, the beer is cold, my grilled chicken pesto sandwich was delicious (when I got the perfect bite of red pepper, savory cheese, pesto, and grilled chicken slathered in olive oil (or maybe that was the pesto)), and I'm glad I did not skip the chocolate lava cake. It's as nostalgic as the Chili's version, but all grown up. I never thought I'd say this but I'd definitely consider them for another peaceful game night experience this season!

I did not think I was going to love this place as much as I did. I ordered the pedal club cocktail and the honey glazed salmon and all I gotta say is wowowowow. The drink is was phenomenal; perfectly made. The salmon though? mouthwatering. Also, the service was exceptional. I forgot our servers name (maybe Adrian or Carlos) but he was great. Loved him! I would 100% recommend coming here. Can't wait to come back!

I loved this place! There were so many options on the menu, so I am excited to come back many more times. I had the chicken and waffles and thought it was delicious! The waffle was nice and soft, not hard like many other waffles I have tried. The chicken tenders were slightly small in my opinion. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere. This is a solid four star restaurant where you can't go wrong with anything you order. But nothing is so spectacular that you wanna rave about it. We met some friends for brunch today to celebrate the holiday season. I had the mimosa flight. My daughter had Briar Patch Dour and and all the drinks were delicious. My son ordered an espresso which came in a normal size coffee mug. I asked the waiter, and he said they were all out of espresso cups. Oh well! A small hick up. Overall, the service was really good and Andrew was attentive. We ordered crab cakes Benedict, chicken and biscuits Benedict, prosciutto Benedict from the brunch menu. Salmon and Gyro from the main menu. Everything was delicious but still none of the dishes were to crave or keep coming back for. That's just our opinion. The ambience at local table is always great and family friendly. Overall, a great place to hang out with friends and have a few cocktails.

The order was wrong and the drinks were disgusting and they still charged me for the drinks. The manager didn't bother to make my food or drinks right. We went to say hi to our friend Jose who is now the Manager of the bar and the new local bar next door to Local Table. When we sat down we were served by Savanna and Cory. They were really nice and great bartenders! We saw firsthand how amazing Cory the bartender can whip up a bunch of cocktails for the waiter. He was moving soo fast and both my husband and I we're in Awe!! He is amazing! Love that this place employs both genders as bartenders and does not have the women wait staff wearing skimpy outfits that show too much. This place also serves really good food! We had the meatloaf and chicken fried chicken plate and it was amazing! We saw the fruit and pepper infused vodka and gave it a try. It was great! This place was so good! Vegans of cypress you must come here. You will not be let down. The vegan options available are few but very delicious! I had the Mediterranean bowl and my partner had seitan "steak". Both of these dishes were flavorful and filling, AND all vegan. I'm so glad to have a place that offers these options in the area. As for the ambiance, it was busy but very enjoyable and comfortable. Make reservations, it will be worth it when it comes to getting a seat without too much waiting. Staff was very pleasant as well. The only suggestion I would make is that the cocktail menu be more specific as far as which drinks are martini's and which drinks are actual cocktails. Other than that, awesome place! read more

Just tried this spot today and it did not disappoint. First off our server (Micheal) was great, was super attentive to us and was even playing and joking around with our little 7 year old and even gave her a treat when we were closing out. Second the food was just wow my girlfriend and I got the spicy shrimp tacos and southern chicken fried chicken while our daughter got the penne pasta with meatballs and we all absolutely loved it very delicious, our daughter almost finished all of it (which trust me is a big deal). Overall the service was great and the food was better. We already have plans to go back again soon trust me when I say this, this place is great. read more

This place is amazing! The customer service is on point and the food was fresh and hot and also delicious. The waitress was friendly and the good thing is that we didn't have to wait so long for our food. And our order was correct all the way. I appreciate the managers Dave and Bruce! Being a resident in Bridgeland I must say we LOVE having this treasure so close to home! We've been more times than we can count and have never once had a bad experience. Amazing food and even better service (seriously it makes a huge difference when you have smiling servers everywhere). Our favorites on the menu are the gyros, the chicken fried chicken and the Chipotle Cheddar Burger. I have not tried the pizzas yet...but will be soon. If you haven't been, you must go. read more

This vegetarian loves this place! Great service every time. My faves: brussel sprouts, black bean soup!!, cauliflower crust pizza (the goat cheese with brussel sprouts is sooo good...I resisted at first bc sounds weird but delicious!!), the tostada salad, the veggie burger!!. Cute place in Towne Lake. Had the crab cakes, didferent flavor than your usual but still good. Had the beef tenderloin sandwich, which was amazing and tender, definitely would try again. This place is AMAZING! I'm so thrilled cypress has a place with locally sourced ingredients and absolutely delicious food. The service was outstanding as well. My only complaint is that they didn't inform us that there's an up-charge for poached egg which I think should be revealed at time of order. This wasn't a big deal, I just think other people may be displeased with the extra charge on the bill. Regardless, service and brunch were incredible! Looking forward to trying more of their brunch offerings. read more

The only restaurant I have been to that does not allow a small stroller next to a table for an infant. The manager just presented this as a problem but offered no solutions. If you are in bridgeland with an infant, come strapped with a carrier instead or go to a restaurant closer to the city that has no problems with a stroller. Somehow their high chairs are not considered tripping hazards, but a strollerr is? If you are coming out here from the memorial area it's basically a Hungary's cafe. If you want my opinion go to the Hungary's on memorial for better staff or just go to any of the hundreds of fantastic local Htown restaurants that are infant friendly. read more

I was reluctant to try Local Table but finally gave it a shot. I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer and the steak tacos. A friend of mine ordered the regular burger and my other friend ordered the hummus and veggie sticks appetizer and the chicken and beef kabob plate. All the food was good. Specifically I loved the fresh flavors of my tacos and loved the black beans that came with them. What I disliked was the fact that there's only one strip of meat on each taco. I was offered to have my bites prepared right away and cookies remade and told they would be ready for pick up ASAP. When asked which bites I would like I kindly reminded the gentleman I ordered Brownie AND Banana bites. I was asked several times whether or not I wanted the banana bites. After clarifying multiple times I indeed wanted BOTH the brownie bites AND banana bites, I was informed they no longer make the banana bites. I was so dumbfounded at having heard this. I wondered "What service is this??!! Am I being punked??" At this point I wanted NOTHING to do with this store or it's products! In fact, why would I even consider picking up the order? I UBERed for a reason!! I asked how I could get my money back (mind you I've NEVER been in this predicament with an UBER order). The gentleman explained he would refund me and I should see the money in my account in 2-3 business days. I have visited this restaurant multiple times in the past and consistently had positive experiences. However, during my most recent visit, it became evident that there may be new management in place, as the quality of both the food and service has noticeably declined. I went for brunch, and despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were seated right next to the kitchen, where the entire staff seemed to stand and watch us, making the experience uncomfortable. When we asked to move, our request was denied due to their table assignment policy, which prioritizes specific servers. During our meal, a glass was accidentally broken behind us, and we were struck by glass and water. Shockingly, the drinks that were being carried at the time were still served to us, raising concerns about safety as they could have contained glass shards. When the manager came over to address the situation, it was clear that he was frustrated and disinterested in resolving the issue, offering minimal acknowledgment of the restaurant's shortcomings. Given the significant decline in food quality and customer service, I will not be returning to this establishment, which is unfortunate as it was once a place I frequented and enjoyed. read more

Can't say enough great things about this place. The staff and the owner are always great to see and talk with. They always go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with everything. Even with all that is going on in the world today, they still treat you as if nothing has happened. Today I went in with my family and I enjoyed every moment in there the restaurant was clean and family friendly. The server I got was named Juan Z and he was outstanding I enjoyed his presence and helped when being undecisive with food, he was super friendly and respectful. Amazing food and cleanliness for the cost. Looks and tastes like a higher class restaurant than what the price says. Wonderful staff with amazing customer service and managerial staff. They can deliver, cater, do takeout, or dine in. Michael Lopez and Michael Miller have been extra hospitable whenever I am here. New to the area, looking for a quick brunch spot and this place didn't disappoint. Food portions were ample- hummus and pita app was enough to feed two. The hummus was fresh and delicious, the kabob plate with beef tenderloin was the perfect amount of food and again, very very good. Sat at the bar today wonderful service by the bartender's Warren and Alan. The drinks were outstanding best bartenders in Cypress Texas and the food was fantastic must try the new Short Rib Street Tacos 10/10. This is the kind of restaurant you try one time and you keep repeating. The service is amazing, starting with hostess which greats you with a big smile. But honestly, how can you go wrong with fried food? The fries were good too, and we enjoyed the wine and espresso. My entrée was the pecan-crusted trout, and this is where things went downhill. I know trout is naturally a thinner fish, so I wasn't expecting a thick filet. The problem was there was way too much seasoning for such a thin piece of fish. It was topped with pecans, cinnamon, and what tasted like sugar or pumpkin pie spice. All I could taste was cinnamon and sweetness. I even tried squeezing lemon over it to balance it out, but there was no saving it. The seasoning completely overpowered the trout. The maple-glazed carrots weren't much better. Several were still too hard to eat, and the ones I could eat tasted like plain carrots with sauce poured over the top rather than actually being cooked in the glaze. I think I managed to eat three. My husband ordered his steak medium rare. One side had beautiful charred grill marks -- conveniently the side facing up -- but the other side barely looked like it had touched the grill. Once he cut into it, it was absolutely not medium rare. In the words of Gordon Ramsay: bloody blue. Service was mediocre. Not terrible, but definitely nothing that made up for the food. Overall, there were a few good things -- the appetizer, fries, wine, and espresso -- but for the price and the reputation, we expected much better. Unfortunately, this one was a miss for us.
