So very sad to say this because I love Local Tables food but, this was the WORST dining experience I have had in a very long time. For starters we made a reservation to celebrate a friend's birthday and when we arrived it was clear that a table was not available for us after a bit of a wait we were sat at a table in the back corner of the restaurant. Little did we know that the table was already occupied by a swarm of fruit flies!! As are food and drinks arrived the problem only got worse. We brought this to the attention of our very sweet server and she said that the gnats were a known problem in this area of the restaurant. We spent our entire dinner swatting like we were in a tennis match unable to enjoy our food, or several of our drinks because the gnats decided they were thirsty as well and ended up in the glass. Eventually we asked to speak with the manager who proceed to tell us that he was aware of the situation. So instead of offering to reseat us (or admitting they shouldn't seat anyone in that area at all!), he just told us that they sprayed the night before but with the windows at the bar and the door being open it's hard to keep them from returning. So again, why seat anyone here?! We decided to take our food to go but unfortunately for one of my friends a few gnats made their way into her salad before she could close the box! Needless to say I will not be returning here for a very long time, maybe next winter when the gnats are in hibernation. read more

Good food and drinks, depending on the chef, but even the not so good food is still pretty good. We have gone a few times now so this review is based off of several different trials and meals. Only did 4/5 stars as I'm not convinced the price for the food and drinks is completely justified but that's of course a matter of (my) opinion. The only other reason for the 4 star is we've had a couple of times we've waited 20 minutes for a drink order and no nearly 50 minutes to get food. Not the end of the world unless you're on a 1 hour lunch break then it's just bothersome to have to scarf your food down as quick as possible or, as in one case, to ask for your food to go and it's then cold by the time you get to eat it. read more

Tried this place once and don't plan to go back. I had there version of a Philly cheesesteak. The waitress was extremely nice, but the sandwich was super greasy, and the fries that it came with were horrible. Some were done and some were not. The manager said that they were having issues with the fries. I give 3 stars because the staff was nice, but the food was not good to me at all. read more

Ate there for this first time and the meal and service was fantastic! Had my first Texas Tornado but won't be my last. The baked goat cheese is really tasty. Servings are generous. We found the atmosphere adequate but extremely loud. Like most new establishments all surfaces are "hard" so sound reverberates through out. Especially irritating are the chairs that make a terrible noise when drug across the concrete floor. Will definitely go back but not on Saturday. read more

I brought my father here for lunch yesterday and today. Hummus appetizer, Sonoma Chicken Salad, and Mama's Meatloaf yesterday, and, Beef Kabob and Penne Rustica today. The manager stopped by our table both days. Service was/is outstanding in spite of restaurant being new and packed (a testament to Local Table staff). Excellent dining experience both days from start to finish. Our waiter today shared that the brunch menu will start 6/16/19. I'm a huge fan of Hungry's on Memorial/Dairy Ashford and super stoked to have Local Table offer comparable atmosphere and menu here in Bridgeland. These guys are fantastic! This is our 3rd trip and once again, it surpassed our expectations. So far we have been here with a large group with lots of little kids, smaller group with multiple vegetarians and date night with just the two of us. Collectively we have tried 9 different entrees and a variety of cocktails. Absolutely everything is delicious. I am SO happy to have such a lovely restaurant this close to home. So, we're new to the area, and we thought we try this local place that seems to always be busy. We had placed a Togo order that consisted of two meals and an appetizer. I ordered the chicken sandwich, there was a spinach and artichoke dip, and chicken fried chicken. It came out to about 46 bucks. Now for that price I thought I'd be wowed, but it turned out to be an okay meal. The chicken was extremely tough to the point my toddler couldn't bite or pull it off. I also had trouble as well, and even cutting it was difficult. The flavors were there and the orders were done correctly. It was just too tough to enjoy and was a bit disappointing. I will say the appetizer was pretty fresh and tasted delicious. Though I opted to add some seasoning and cheese. It was still delicious as is, and I'd order it again if I was to dine in. The chips were a nice addition to the appetizer instead of the toast I see in some restaurants. The fries were way over salted, and weren't eaten that night. Instead I made use of them the next day in a breakfast taco. The salt balanced out the rest of the ingredients. They were nice answering and taking my order, and have thoughtful items on the menu. I loved that they had no antibiotics in the chicken and tried to use fresh ingredients. Maybe I ordered on an off day, and I'll give them another try in the future. read more

Lunch today at Local Table was terrific! Although reservations weren't available for lunch online, I called and easily made a lunch reservation. The restaurant is spacious and airy, with good outdoor patio spaces available. We both had the Chicken Salad Plate with Fruit. It could not have been better. Often chicken salad has too much mayo in it - this was not the case. The proportions and seasonings were great. A good-size serving of fresh fruit and some pita slices accompanied the meal. One of the owners came by our table - just to check on how our meal was. He definitely heard positive feedback from us. I'll definitely return; the happy hour looks interesting and open air bars are always intriguing! read more

I have found a place that serves healthy, fresh, quality meals. I am not able to eat at most places because I have a weak stomach and can get sick easily from second tier food. It's hard for me to find food I can eat without getting sick. I tried Local Table since my wife suggested it for us. I love it! I was hesitant at first but once I saw the menu and ingredients I decided to give it a shot. I can tell you I have eaten here three times and not only have I not got sick, it made my stomach feel good and hit the spot! This is good quality premium food that is good for you. No greasy, processed, second rate protein or veggies cheap crap some places try and pawn off as decent good for you dishes. Some places serve stuff that is not even real food! This my new go-to joint. We have dined-in, ordered for pickup and also got delivery and each time it was awesome.
