Oh So Vanilla Cold Brew and Honey Bear Latte
    Vivian S.

The variety, the taste, the customer service is always top tier. Lodi is like a new found staple in Summerville for me as I love the variety and the seasonal flavors. Big high fives for the sweet cream cold brews with my favorites being Cinnamon Toast Crunch or French Toast. Yesterday's honey bear latte and Oh So Vanilla cold brew hit the spot. Greeted with amazing customer service and a smile, and always love my rewards. Oh almost forgot, let me not go into the colossal cinnamon rolls made out of croissant bread.....omg!!! Bite your fingers off...don't believe me go try it for yourself! My only complaint is I love coffee all the time wish they were open past 4pm or had a pop up shop after 4 but a girl can only ask for so much

They have multiple locations and the drive thru option is usually pretty quick. I got the salted caramel iced latte along with a cinnamon roll. The staff were very friendly, service was quick and the cinnamon roll was tasty! I would've like a touch more icing but overall I enjoyed what I ordered and will be back.

Honestly, this place is a must just to see the wild menu. Unless you're autistic like me and would've crapped your pants upon pulling up to such a drive thru experience (take a look beforehand). I haven't tried enough of their drinks to say exactly my thoughts on their coffee, but I did enjoy the ones I've had so far. Service is friendly. I really appreciate the sugar free options for those of us that can't process carbs.

Lodi is the best place for coffee in Summerville!!! It is the cutest little drive up coffee place. Everything on the menu is delicious.. from the warm, delicious, flaky croissants to the amazing salted toffee iced cold brew, you will be impressed with whatever you order! The Seasonal offerings are always amazing, especially for Fall! The customer service is awesome, everyone there is super friendly and kind! Even when the line is crazy long, they keep it moving and keep smiling! My whole family especially loves the scrumptious giant cinnamon rolls that are served warm! My teen girls love the frapps... the cinnamon toast frapp and the pumpkin pie frapp are their favorites! I love the cold brew, especially the keto sugar free flavors. There are not many places in Charleston where you can get a keto cold brew in vummy flavors like caramel and pumpkin that do not taste like chemicals, Lodi makes it happen! We will continue to support this fabulous local business as often as possible!

It is a cute drive-thru only coffee shop. The individual who answered the drive-thru was very knowledgeable and patient. He answered any questions that I had about the different drink choices. I settled on the maple latte hot. It was good, but the only sugar options were raw or Splenda. Of course, I wasn't going with Splenda. The blueberry muffin was delicious and came with a surprising zest flavor. If I had to put my finger on it, I was saying a lemon zest. It snuck up on me at the first bite but not in a bad way in an interesting. I'm not mad that they added it but didn't know they go together type of way. The "apple" croissant which it was supposed to be was good except not the right order. Somehow, I ended up with some type of berry croissant that I wish had more of the berry mixture than it did. The young lady at the window was nice and respectful as well. Love their customer service. I would return again to try something else on the menu. Thank you Yelp week for allowing me to check it out.

This place has a lot more options then Starbucks and I feel like the food taste less "commercial" than Starbucks food. My favorite things to order is the strawberry vanilla matcha and their strawberry vanilla overnight oats. A healthy breakfast on the go

Despite the fact that this is a recent expansion, the secret is clearly out that this local institution has come to Summerville. Unfortunately, this means that there was a rather long line when I visited. They have a microphone to order while in line, which means that by the time you pay your drink is probably ready. Still, it took more time than I was hoping; it didn't seem to move quite as fast as the other Lodis. And on top of that, what I ended up getting wasn't as good as the best items I've gotten at the other locations. Nonetheless, I can see why people were in line, because the range of options and the flavor they produce remain excellent. I got a raspberry cream matcha, which was light on raspberry and heavy on matcha. I'd rather have this than the other way around. Being part of their rewards program gets me an occasional text message about a free drink, which is a good excuse to get it over oat milk and find the more expensive drinks because they'll comp the whole thing. You do have to buy something else to get a free drink, but their pastries, while not as delicately rendered as those at Charleston's high-end bakeries, are nonetheless always satisfying. Here, I got a giant cinnamon roll which lived up to the name. I'll order something different when I come back, but I'll keep coming back.

I really enjoy going to Lodi. Their customer service is really friendly which is refreshing. In addition to the stellar customer service, I enjoy their drinks. I've enjoyed almost everything I've tried so far BUT I really enjoy the drinks that are made with chocolate! I think it's the flavor of their chocolate that makes their chocolate drinks seem so indulgent. My favorites are the Mickeys's Mocha, Peanut Butter Mocha and the Mocha Mint Cream Latte, add an extra shot and of course whip cream, extremely indulgent on a cold winter morning! While the Summerville location is closer, my drinks seem to taste slightly better at the North Charleston location (I don't know why) I think the North Charleston Baristas need to train with the Summerville staff to ensure quality consistency. Overall I would return and I'm glad they made it to the area.

The matcha is my favorite in the area. And the flavor is made in house so it makes it so much better. The service is fast for the location. And just being a drive thru. I love that it is only drive-thru so it makes things more convenient since I can wear whatever and not feel judged like some other coffee places in the area. I talk about this coffee place since I moved away and recommend it to anyone who is traveling to the Charleston area

Great pastries and drinks. Huge menu with a large variety of both drinks and food. Very friendly staff and quick service.

Phenomenal!!! Such an excellent iced latte (white pumpkin!) and the biggest chocolate croissant I think I've ever personally seen. Wow. Can't wait to go back again soon! Also the baristas were absolute gems. Signed me up for the loyalty program on the spot and offered me an immediate discount. That's exceptional service. Thanks Lodi!!! Will see you SOON!

The line was pretty long upon arrival but moved quickly and was greeted by a great cashier at the window ! Very friendly and answered any questions I had! The pastry was to die for ! It was so soft , warm and delicious! Small and quaint place that is drive thru only.

Cute little spot, very excited they opened a location in Summerville. I have only stopped by once so far, but it was easy to get in, easy to order, and as we all expect to experience at lodi, the staff and service is wonderful. I don't know what they do on their hiring process, but lodi has the absolute friendliest staff I have ever come across and it is so refreshing to see! Plus, the coffee is always delicious and they have so many flavor options, which the change seasonally. Love it and will, of course, be back!

The matcha was excellent and ended up being one of my favorites from our foodie week in Charleston. It was smooth, not bitter at all, and perfectly sweetened. So many places either make matcha too grassy or overload it with sweetener, but this one was really well balanced. I'd definitely stop by again the next time we're in town.

Give me a McDonalds with from the 80s with an exterior that dared to be unique, not part of the 1984 (read the book) agenda. This brings me to Summit coffee; I absolutely hate the exterior. Devoid of life, soul and any unique presence. However, I'm not really here to write about a drab exterior but coffee! Let's go inside, shall we? Summit coffee establishment is located is on the outskirts of Nexton proper, easily accessible by foot and with a sterile atmosphere. One oddity I noticed is the place doesn't smell of coffee, which I found interesting. Sadly the inside is as lifeless as outside. It looks like a they paid a cleaner to remove all vestiges of life while only leaving a spec here or there to meet a quote. Ok, enough with aesthetics as I've complained enough, The staff is quick to help out and offer good suggestions when they're asked. Being a former comedian, I tried to whip up some jokes to compensate for my utter boredom, the ladies were nice enough to laugh. Needless to say, the women here had a heart. They made good suggestions but I was curious why their pastry display only had like a handful of items, did they make them or get them from the grocery store? I don't know but I was only here for coffee. I did like some of the creativity - a banana creampie latte - sounds like something.... Nevermind but all props for creativity. Birthday cake latte didn't sound good for the waistline but another attempt at creativity - I love it! But I opted to go for my own flavor. A lack of options for addins, I mean literally no hazelnut, almond etc. Well, I did the best I could - Latte with 2 shots caramel and 1 vanilla. I can honestly say it was "mid" at best. The roast didn't resonate while the lack of options made it feel so generic like I couldn't play the part of an evil scientist mixing a crazy concoction. But it beats McDonalds. Oh, they do have "the world's best granola" which I made several jokes about, even encouraging other customers by saying "if you were in France and ordered granola, they would talk about Summit's granola, after all it's the world's best!" Yes, I was being the overfriendly annoying customer, b/c I was bored. At least there were some laughs. Sadly, there's nothing about Summit that stands out. I hate saying that for local businesses but I want to be authentic. Stop by if .... Well, I'm not sure why so just stop by, I guess.

The jalapeño biscuit was made with fresh jalapeños, a twist from the usual. The sausage, and egg were cooked to perfection and thick. The grits were smooth and melty. If you never had grits, this a good start, but there are many varieties, colors, and ways to prepare. In the low country you have to try them at several places to find you favorite.
