I cannot say enough good things about my entire experience working with Mike Logan & Logan Pools. My project started from a true "blank slate" new construction yard (with nothing but sand!) and Mike transformed it into a yard that we absolutely love! (before & after pics show the transformation) Mike handled every detail of each stage of the project seamlessly from beginning to end. He really listened to me during the design process & I learned so much about the whole process during those invaluable planning sessions. He was always here early in the mornings whenever his work crews arrived & he checked in on every detail to make sure there was clear direction & communication each step of the way, which made such a huge difference in the process. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and he insists on high standards so, while you might find a company willing to build your pool cheaper, you will never find one who will take as much care to give you the absolute best product that can be built. He hung in there with me when I changed my mind constantly on details like tile choice & he stayed professional and kind every step of the way. I recommend him without any reservation and promise if you select him for your pool, you will be in good hands!!!

Mike Logan with Logan Pools is the best in the business! He knows all the in's and out's of pools. He is fair, honest and up front about the cost. He comes highly recommended, so if you are luckily enough to grab an appointment with him, make sure to hire him! Lol. He takes pride in his work and is always paying attention to the subs he hires (which are also all the best in the business). He is responsive and reliable and I am beyond grateful he built my pool. I'm confident in the construction quality and haven't had any issues since construction was completed. Thank you Logan Pools!

    Completed Pool by Logan Pools

Our Experience with Logan Pools can be best described as nothing less than a rescue mission. My wife and I had contracted with a local pool contractor referred by our neighbor who had already begun his pool. Unfortunately, both my neighbor and I were abandoned by this dishonest contractor midway into our pool projects despite having received substantial prepayments. We not only lost many thousands of dollars but also suffered an agonizing 12 months of broken promises, excuses and having our backyard completely torn up. All this suddenly ended when we contacted Mike Logan of Logan Pools. He was very empathetic and came up with a plan to get our pool finished quickly and in excellence. He was so on top of everything. Mike kept us constantly informed, and followed up on the smallest of details. He turned our pool nightmare into a dream pool, and did so with an elegant personal touch. We are so grateful. Mike Logan was definitely an answer to prayer, and for that, we call him our "Pool Angel".

    Before

We started our pool building journey researching contractors and found Logan Pools on Yelp/Google. We reached out and got in contact with Mike Logan who was very responsive from the beginning. - the process started with an online survey where we got to fill out our preferences, what we wanted, reason for pool etc so Mike could get a better idea of why/what etc - next was meeting Mike Logan and for him to evaluate our space. There were many aspects that we as homeowners aren't/weren't aware of - regarding city code/where pool equipment can go etc. mike took his time and evaluated all the options and explained what would be ideal - the first real step in the pool building was process was Mike designing the pool on paper, and once approved by us, getting a 3D rendition- video and pictures for us to visualize what our pool/backyard would look like. Note: this step costs around $1000-1200 because of the time and resources used by Logan pools, and if you decide to build the pool with them, this fee is deducted from the pool cost. - after we received the videos and pictures, we gave the go ahead to start building our pool and signed a contract with the detailed products we wanted etc (floor cleaners, jets, air blower, pebble tech, cascades, lighting etc) - we did have to get landscaping done- cut trees and so forth which is not included in the pool building estimate but Mike referred us to one of his trusted contacts (and we ended up using him for a lot of our landscaping needs even after the pool building) Martin from Nice View Tree Care (did our yard, sprinkler system, paving, planting trees, fence etc after pool was done) - the whole process took about 4-6 months. There were some delays because the sub contractors were booked out - there was very little that we had to worry about in this whole process because Mike Logan was good with communicating and updating us on the ongoings, and his knowledge of the pool building process, taking charge from start to finish (all the way to the final city inspection) put us at ease. - after the pool is finished, Mike gets 1 month of pool servicing from his trusted guys to get the equipment set up and servicing - we love our new pool and are grateful for Mike and Logan pools. Would highly recommend them for your pool needs

Logan Pools did an amazing job on our pool and rear yard hardscape. My wife and I gave them our high level ideas and photos for a guideline and they took the rest from there. Our project was complex and detailed but the workmen executed the work flawlessly. It has since been six years since our pool and 12 person spa with rain wall was installed and it works as well now as the first day they turned it over to us. We will use Logan Pools for our next home and we recommend others at least site down and talk with Mike Logan about their swimming pool dreams.

Mike built our pool 20 years ago and we love it as much today as we did 20 years ago. We chose Pebble Tech when the pool was built but now it is time to resurface. Mike came out and suggested a newer product Wet Edge Prisim matrix and the color we choose was Eclipse. We couldn't be happier with the results. Mike is a good guy and has his customers best interests at heart.

Left a few messages and called a third time and was told they only do custom pools starting at 75K. They should list this on their website.

Thus, we are 110 percent satisfied with their service. Inasmuch as I live several hours away from Brentwood and Discovery Bay, I did not have the pleasure of meeting Alan in person. After living in our home for a year, it was time to redesign our backyard. I submitted a price quote request on Yelp and received a few responses to schedule a consultation. After meeting with other landscape companies, my choice was to go with Alan at Green Planet Landscape. It wasn't just about the price quote, but Alan's thoughtful ideas and recommendation made us trust him even more with the project. He would make sure our backyard would look amazing and presentable. He drew a sketch design for us to submit to the HOA. After we got an approval from the HOA for the project, Alan scheduled us within a few days. Alan first introduced me to Angel to have him do a walkthrough around the backyard. We had them install stone walls, pavers, artificial turf, and planter beds. The project lasted about 3 days and they did a fantastic job on transforming our backyard. My wife is so in love with plants and was very happy they planted her plants in the soil. Our dogs were so excited and love playing on the turf. I would highly recommend Green Planet Landscape. We finally are comfortable to contact them in the near future.

He's a sweet talker, will price under the competition, but will do a poor job and not respond to you once the job is done. I am in the process of pursuing legal action; save yourself a headache. Tito was quick to give an estimate and could start the project right away. It was for a 1,000 sq ft pad in my backyard and drainage for 4 days. He charged me $13,000. He told me he would be profiting $4,000 from the project which I'm surprised he told me. He was friendly throughout the process and I reciprocated. I fed him and his nephew lunch twice and brought them cold drinks throughout the project. I should've noticed a red flag when I emphasized I need the pad to slope to the drain. I emphasized this twice a day for 3 days consecutively. He said he has so much experience it won't be a problem, but he never brought it out a laser. Big red flag. Once the concrete cured, I'm left with three massive puddles whenever the pad is wet, which has now been a pain with my kid getting incredibly dirty with all the dirt accumulating in those spot. I was also surprised to see he doesn't finish his projects. He subcontracts to a couple of Latino guys who put the final touches on the pad. Not what I expected. The worst part is my multiple attempts to contact Tito for resolution went unanswered. See my text screenshots. He thought he could use his mistake as an opportunity to do my driveway. No way I'd trust him near my property ever again. Spend a bit more, hire quality guys. Don't hire Tito and save yourself a headache.

Hired him for concrete work last year in my yard…read more TLDR: Don't recommend. Be careful! * He give you the price based on more work, then later he will tell you that's not necessary so they can do less and earn more. For example in my project, originally I asked them to remove more dirt before paving the concrete and they say "that's a lot of work", then later they "Oh we can not remove that much dirt because blah blah ..." * Make sure everything, including all the details written on the contract. Otherwise you will pay more. And truth is that most likely you are not able to write down all the details, so you will be ended with paying more. Things you think is part of their job, he will say "no that's not on the contract". For example my project includes paving concrete plus building a planter box. After the planter box was built, there was a small gap (~ 20 ft x 1.25 ft ) between the planter box and the fence that was not covered by concrete. I asked them to pave concrete for that gap, then they said it was not on the contract, so for that little gap they did in 15 min, they charged me $200. * If you want to fill 1099 form to him, ask him to fill W-9 before the work started. Don't start the work before W-9 filled. In my case, originally he said "No problem, I will fill W-9 when we sign the contract", and "Every year I have a few customers asking for W-9, you know, having a few 1099 is good for my tax report", but later he said "No problem I will bring the W-9 form to you when you give me the last check", then after I made the last check he said "No problem I will give you the W-9 next week when I came to pick up the remaining bricks". So he said "I will give you the W-9" once and once again, but never really gave me the W-9, and finally he said "I don't think it's right to give you the W-9, and I never did that to other customers". * Don't pay off unless they finish everything, removing any junk they should remove, and you are OK if you can not find them again. In my case, fortunately I withheld $350 -- unfortunately I should withhold more.

Our project consisted of: - the installation of three new NanaWall bifold doors, the largest one being 23' long, and one NanaWall French door, replacing smaller windows and sliding doors. It required the installation of a steel beam over the largest opening, - the replacement of an existing 16'x16' deck with a new 48'x16' TimberTech deck. In retrospect I wish we had stuck to redwood, as the TimberTech boards, as far as I know, cannot be refinished, so we now have to live with a few scratches and stains,. - the installation of two new mechanized louvered pergolas. The louvers protect the decks from the rain or from the sun when closed, while allowing the light to come in when the weather is just right. Very cool! We also redesigned our primary bedroom and closet, moved walls around, and raised its ceiling. We replaced an old gas fireplace with a new modern 40" fireplace placed in the middle of a new marble-covered wall. My most positive feedback on our project is Todd's reliability and trustworthiness. The few times we had disagreements, he came through with a good solution. I would also add that I was extremely impressed with the constant hard work of his foreman and laborers. My most negative feedback on our project is realizing what was not included in the contract. It did take me a bit by surprise when I realized how much of the electrical work, for instance, was extra. On the other hand, Todd did do some extra work for us at no charge. We definitely would hire Todd again for other projects in the future. He, his foreman Federico, and his team are all awesome.
