Got a gift card and tried this place out for lunch today. Disappointed all around. No one in front when we arrived so we waited a bit to be seated even though it wasn't busy. Our waitress, though very sweet, failed to follow up after "someone" brought out food to us and ran away before we could say a word. So my husband's sandwich which was missing an important part was half gone before she ever checked on us. So all in all the service was not great and the food was overpriced and mediocre. Horrible to go service. Second time, second time they screwed up the order. Tiny portions - it's like they know you're not going to eat it there, so, why bother with actually having satisifed customers or something? Heck, I don't know why they are so cheap. ONE Ice cream scooped shape helping of mashed potatoes. My "bowl" of potato soup half-filled the container, which was tiny. For comparison, I put it in a SMALL cereal bowl at home and it didn't even fill up the bottom of the bowl. I seriously almost filmed it to put on Facebook, it was so pathetic. About two table spoons for gravy - when I ASKED (and was assured I'd received) extra gravy - yet,that was for TWO chicken breasts and potatoes? Seriously? How cheap can you get? What's gravy cost to make anyway? No Ranch for the mushrooms, which we'd asked for. When we visited the place, the waitress was passable, but slow. we've been going to logans for years. It is usually very good. You can't get a better filet for the price around Fredericksburg. and i admit i love the hot rolls. While the service was outstanding, (thanks, Alexa!!) the kitchen did manage to mess up our order. ( I did not complain,) The peanut bucket had peanuts, plus just empty shells. trash? When we left some young blonde had her rear in the aisle and her head on the podium of the hostess stand. That just looks so unprofessional. We recently went to Logan's in Fredericksburg VA. I got a Budweiser on tap and it tasted like vinegar and salt. I asked for a bud light and they forgot about it. I asked again 20 minutes later and finally brought my beer. Very disruptive and frustrating experience should've went to Texas road house. read more

After giving the server our food order, she forgot to order mine. A different server brought the food to the table and I thought mine was coming because we had a party of 5. Approx. 5 minutes later, I had to find our server and ask where my food was. There was no explanation or apology and my food finally arrived when everyone else was almost done. The restaurant was not busy as there were several open tables in our area as well as throughout the restaurant. Additionally, the bathrooms were dirty and disgusting. This location is disgusting. Exterior is falling apart, no money for landscaping this year? Just crack weeds and brick chips (from the wall)for our pleasure. Greeted by a Manager???...or some drunk who wandered over from the bar. No name badge, very dowdy looking, not unlike the mens room! (how many holes can we get in a wall until its a window to the kitchen?) Peanuts were stale and DAMP! Waitress said "We just sorted through them last night to pick out the shells and tossed them to freshen them up" WHAT? Disgusting. My fried cheese/bacon burger had thick cut rancid tasting bacon that was cold and most likely fried up early that day or days before. French fries were cold, damp and extra chewy. To tender a guess, they were more than an hour old. They were cooked just enough to put a tan patina over the original raw color of a potato (might have just been dust). Out server was good and things got served quick enough. Anyway, I was extremely disappointed. My wife enjoyed her meal and we are always pleased when we visit the Manassas VA location. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would! This was the WORST dining experience i've ever had - ever! The staff is not friendly or welcoming, the food was not fresh (lettuce in my salad had brown slimy lettuce in it), the buffalo wings had no buffalo sauce. Our main meal was served less than two minutes after our appetizer arrived. Biggest waste of $35 i've ever spent - never again. Terrible experience!! We have been there twice in the past month and will not be back. First visit: Gravy on mashed potatoes was ice cold while the gravy on the Country fried steak was lukewarm. The bathroom looked like a the something from a crack house. Second visit: we had a party of 13 for a birthday party. Got there at 2:30 and the manager was rude and acted like it was a burden to seat us. The place was not full but told us it would be an hour wait. We used to eat here ALL OF THE TIME! I thought it was much better than the competition down the street. But recently it has went down hill. We had dinner last night and it will be the last time I ever dine here. Our table was covered in crumbs and ketchup. I asked the hostess to please come over and clean it, she did, but there was still ketchup all over the menus and windows sills. Our server was friendly but didn't not know how to pay attention to detail. I'm assuming she didn't give us the same service as her other tables because she assumed we wouldn't tip as well; mixed races at my table. Anyhow, she brought us "dough" that she referred to as bread. I ordered a sirloin and was brought and charged for a filet. I never even commented on it. Our dinner took over 35 minutes to come out and the server, while in mid-apology for the delay, our food was brought out. My son, however, ordered the same sirloin to which he was brought, but it was extremely overcooked, as usual. I asked the server to please recook it and they did. I also had a coupon that I showed the server and she said she'd apply the discount. A few moments later the manager came over and asked to see the same coupon as if it were a fake. He never once asked how the recook was nor did she. We asked for a box and the check. She brought it over and I waited over 10 minutes for her to collect the payment. At which point I was frustrated and left barely a $4 tip. Including the bill, it was the only cash I had. I had planned to pay for dinner on my card, but she took entirely too long to collect payment. That alone will ruin someone's dining experience. I was in the industry for more than twenty years. Shame on you Logan's Roadhouse! You lost a loyal guest. read more

We decided to get take-out from here last night. The girl at the front told me to place my to-go order with the bartender, so we walked to the bar. The bartender on duty seemed very frazzled, even though she only had 2 people sitting there (who already had drinks). When she finally got to taking our order, she seemed very "tudey". I told her we were going to order mostly sides, and how big WERE the sides anyway? She shrugged and seemed at a loss for words. I tried to help her: are they this big (showing her a size with my hands)?? THIS big (making a bigger size)??? She shrugged. So I said, well, are they for ONE person, TWO people???? Come on, sister, help me out! Finally she was able to say that they were for 1 person. So we ordered 7 sides, and she read it back to us (It was correct). So she gives us our receipt and my husband got his card out to pay. Several times she walked right past us to ask other people if they were ok (people drinking at the bar). Finally hubby said "did you want to go ahead and ring this up?" and she said WHEN I GET TIME! Geez Louise. So I grabbed our receipt and card and said let's go- she can ring us up when we come back to get the food. So we leave for a few minutes, then go back in. While I am standing there waiting for her to ring us up, I look over the receipt and notice it is wrong. We ordered TWO mac-n-cheese, not one mac-n-cheese and the loaded mashed potatoes! So I tell her, and she does the audible SIGH. Give me a break. So she runs to the back to tell the kitchen, then comes back and rings me up. I do tip her $1, since I don't have my food yet (I used to be a server). Finally she brings us our food. We got 2 house salads (nothing special), side of fries (ok), the fried mushrooms with horseradish dip (good), a grilled veggie skewer (good), and 2 sides of mac-n-cheese (nothing special). All in all, it was alot of trouble to go through to get so-so food. We will eat at Logan's if we have no other options, but we won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Not sure what is up with the Fredericksburg location. We waited 90 minutes for our food because our original waiter forgot to put our order in. The waitress who took over his tables (apparently the original waiter had some issues with multiple tables in his section) told us she was going to speak with the manager to see what she could do for us. Then she started avoiding our table. No manager came over, no apology and no discount for the wait. We also had a Veteran with us on Memorial Day weekend. So disappointed. Will not return! read more

The desk receptionist at our hotel said not to go here, but we liked the Logan's in Alabama so much, we decided to try it anyway. Wish we wouldn't have. To start, the guy who seated us was wearing a ball cap and pants hanging off his ass...unprofessional IMO. Our waitress was very friendly, but that was about the only good thing. The restaurant smelled like a dumpster full of old food. Our table was dirty with something sticky on it. My ranch dressing had a hair in it and had to be returned. My french fries seemed like they were days old. I had steak and crab legs. My steak was good and seasoned well, and crab legs seemed fresh. My husband had the lobster tail and could only eat half of one...the rest was over cooked to the point of oblivion. I will not go back there again. read more

Wanted a nice steak dinner on a Saturday evening for date night with my wife. Texas Roadhouse was our first choice but man was it crowded. So as not to let my wife down I decided to take her to the next closest steak house Logan's Roadhouse. The wait was a mild 30 minutes as the place was busy but not overly crowded. Fast forward to dinner and my wife's ribeye steak came out extremely thin and flat like they pounded it out with a sledge hammer, and it was cold. My sirloin was cooked good but the side of shrimp skewer was pale, cold and flavorless. I sent back my shrimp and spoke with the manager. He took the shrimp to the kitchen. He made a new shrimp skewer and brought it out. It looked better but still a little pale. Maybe the next part I should've been a tad more careful but I grabbed the hand end of the skewer and it was so hot it burned me. I gave the plate back to the waitress and told her to keep it. Manager brought a small bag of ice over. He stated he grilled it and plated it hot off the grill. I asked why would they serve it on metal skewers and he stated they do it all the time. I asked for the check and they comped $10.00 off. Glad I did not have a child there who could've grabbed the hot skewer. Expected much better from a steak house. Wish I could give this restaurant no star, I definitely would not come here!!!! The worst !!! I went in here 2 days ago with my sister and her two children the waitress was very polite! She order a steak with shrimp , rice& broccoli. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries! My bacon was burnt. Either way I got home that night felt nauseous, wasn't feeling to well. So I wanted to know if anyone else had that issue so I decided to call Logan's roadhouse! I asked to speak to the manager. I was on hold for awhile when I finally got the manager on the phone he said hello , I said hello he put me on hold twice and after that he hung up on me. I called back the next morning to speak with someone else when I told the manager about the situation he told me that he will see what the issue was , very rude didn't seem like he was qualified to even be a manager! Just highly disappointed and it was our 1st time eating at this restaurant! We will never be coming back here again!!! I guess after reading the reviews no Yelpers patronized this place. Well. I did yesterday -- peanut shells were still on the floor. But (for weekday lunch) the service was overly attentive. Place was not very full and even tho there were only 3 of us, she asked if we wanted separate checks -- we didn't. Food was pretty good considering it was a chain & probably catered to male groups ordering lots of beer. Had pork BBQ sliders (called roadies) which were very tasty. Chips were very good. Server brought soda refills without asking. All in all ( considering price) it was satisfying experience. In fact we left hoping to find other Logan's in other towns. read more

Tonight we had dinner with family. There were 6 of us. 5 out of our 6 dinners came out over cooked. 3 got the 6 oz sirloin and they requested medium. All 3 came out well done. I ordered prime rib medium rare and it was medium. One order for chicken came with a side of broccoli. The broccoli was over cooked and mushy. The manager came over to talk to us to see what he could do. 2 folks ate their well done sirloin but one returned theirs and the new steak was still a little on the done side except for in the middle. I had already decided that l just wanted mine taken off the bill and ate my baked potato. The manager told me that he had already put a new one on the grill for me. l told him l didn't want a new one but l got it anyway. The bill came and my prime rib was still on the bill. In addition, we had a 25% coupon and that was incorporated into the bill and he returned the coupon back to us. We thought he should of done a little more for us since everyone's dinner was bad. Unfortunately this is not the first time we have experienced incorrect orders at this location and will not be going back. read more

It contained so much salt I could feel it effect my blood pressure. Well, that could have been the hour and half wait or the fact our appetizers never arrived. The bathrooms were filthy and the hostesses had no clue were to seat anyone...overall the worst experience I have had in over 20 years. McDonalds and a gas station bathroom would have been better--no kidding! This was the first time EVER that I did not leave a tip--and I used to wait tables so I get how hard it is...but smoking and joking and not doing your job gets you nothing!! My parents recently went to this location and after they told me about their experience, I felt it necessary to write this so that a server by the name of Richard could be acknowledged for his outstanding service. From what I was told, after being ignored by the originally assigned server for quite some time they were ready to leave. But Richard, having noticed, came over to help serve them despite the fact that they weren't in his section. I believe my parents have already written a review on the Logans website with the full story but if anyone from Logans Roadhouse reads these messages, please compensate him for his outstanding service. I will never be back!!! I had to send my daughters corn dog back 2 times bc it was still frozen in the middle!! My chicken was cold tasted like it had been under the warmer for hours!! My brother in law had to bring his 2 year old son to the bathroom and there was throw up all over the floor, he let manager know and when he went back 45 mins later there still was throw up on the floor!! My wife and I stopped by Logan's for lunch before we head home. She spoke so highly of the place, I decided to see what all the excitement was about. As we were seated the waitress came and took out beverage orders. I was undecided on what to get, I usually play it sake and order a bacon burger, but decided to go with the recommendation of our waitress. My wife as well decided the same. We ordered the meatloaf, mash potatoes w/ gravy and veggies. We didn't want to fill up on the bread anticipating this wonderful meal that we are about to dig into. Disappointment! The meatloaf didn't taste like a "meatloaf", but more like a breadloaf. There was so much bred in the meat, it loss its flavor, plus it was dry. The gravy didn't help, it taste burnt. The restaurant took her meatloaf and potatoes off the ticket because she didn't eat it after tasting it. I took mine to go. Half way home we had to pull over on the highway because she got sick. Can't say it was the food, but it was suspect. I was not impressed at all with the food, but the waitress "Kebbie" was awesome. Price was reasonable. read more

My family was in Logan's the other night and we had the most terrific serves there. We had this server that was just wonderful. She was a very friendly server and she made us feel welcome and like we belonged there. We had the Noach's for an appetizer and can i say OMG. They were out of this world. Our salads came in a timely matter as well. We had ordered the two meals for $13.99. I must say it is a great deal. I had ordered the sirloin with a vegetable skier and a salad. The steak came out perfectly cooked. The food was excellent. I can say that you can count on us being back there soon. It's a Friday night, I understand restaurants get busy, but in my opinion this restaurant is not run well at all. The person who sat us was rude, our waitress was friendly but terrible and the food was less than average. The wait time was longer than expected and while we waited we watched our empty glasses sit. The waitress came by after forgetting one of drinks originally, for us to wait even longer to receive them. 40 minutes after receiving our salad, we finally received our entree. One steak was overcooked and both were luke warm. We were not asked how our food was, so I didn't complain, it had been a long time to receive it, we were hungry and did not want to wait longer. When we asked for the bill, we wait 10 minutes to receive our change, all while our waitress continued waiting tables. After we got the change I looked back our bill and recounted my change only to realize that we were shorted the coin change from what we were owed. Is this how you get people to return to your restaurant? You're unorganized, slow, produce luke warm food and then steal from your customers. read more

Logan's Roadhouse at the Sportsylvania Mall used to be on the top of my list for steak! I always took clients there for dinner as well as my family! However, I have never had such poor service as I did on Friday, February 10th! I had my mom, age 86, here to attend my son's wedding. She wanted steak for dinner and I immediately thought of Logan's. However, she is allergic to mesquite so I called Logan's to see if that was a problem for them or should I pick another place. I looked up the number on line and it gave me the manager's cell phone. His mail box was full and no human answered either. Why have your main on-line number not being answered? So I did another search and I got another number. I called and talked to a hostess, who said they were busy as usual. I told her my problem concerning my mom and that I had twelve people in the party and would that be a problem. The hostess said that they could cook the steak without mesquite for her....her words "No Problem!" Well, we got there and we would told it was a 45 minute wait. So we agreed to wait. Then after 55 minutes I went to them and they said it would be another 15 or 20 minutes. We waited again! Then after 20 minutes I had passed I went and checked again. This time the manager came over and I complained about the wait. I saw many of empty tables that could have been moved to make one large table. He said he could not block the walking paths that the waiters used. Two of my party got tired of waiting and left then. Well just over two hours later we got to be seated only to find that they could not cook the steak for my mom after all. So my mom had to eat a fried chicken salad! Disappointment is an understatement! I will find another place to go in the future. What does Logan lose? A loyal patron that spent at least $150 every week. read more

Been going to Logan's since it opened here. I always order the same thing everytime we go. The service is usually fast and food very good. For the last couple times we've been there this year, the service has gotten slower and the food quality has gone down. Our visit yesterday, they were pretty busy. We had a 20 minute wait. I noticed that people who came after us got seated before us. They usually sit us on the floor opposite side away from the bar. This time we were seated by the bar way in the back by the restrooms. It was dark and the light-bulb in the lamp wasn't working. The peanut buckets are usually refilled, but this time they were 1/2 empty. It took a bit for the waitress to come order our drinks. The bar was behind, so it took about 10 mins to get our main drinks. Luckily we asked for water. She did bring us rolls. The rolls were fresh and hot, but I noticed that the size of them were way smaller than usual. We got our food before our main drinks. When we finally received the drinks, they didn't make them very well. There was barely any alcohol in mine and my daughter usually had mint and a cherry in her peach lemonade, but only had a slice of lemon which never happened before. I ordered the meatloaf as always, which comes with a BED of mashed potatoes, a salad of choice, and a entree side of your choice. The salad barely filled the bowl and barely had any salad dressing. I had to ask for more which took the waitress about 5 mins. When the food came out, the BED of mashed potatoes looked like a dallup instead. When I asked the waitress if that was the amount this dish is supposed to have and if I could get more, she told me that the mashed potatoes are "just a garnish" and that's all it comes with. Funny, that's the first I've heard that. She didn't even take the time to look in the menu. I've always had a BED OF POTATOES which looked like a good helping to go with the nice size helping of meat loaf. I was very disappointed. By that time, I had enough of the poor service and was ready to leave. We just got boxes and left. I'm not sure what happened in the past year, but I don't think we'll be going back for a while. read more

Have been going to Logans since they opened this location. The food and service has progressively gotten worse over the years while the prices go up. My recent experience was a 2 hour ordeal that literally should have taken an hour max. Waitress was slow and didn't bother to check on our meal until a half dozen other people seated up to 45 minutes after us received their meals and asked where is my food? My steak was burnt and we'll done, it was supposed to be medium rare. There is no way it was 8oz...not even close. Complaining in the past has resulted with less than favorable outcome. Wait another hour for a steak while your family has been done with their meal for an hour. Mind you not that theirs were correct but less wrong than mine. Sad because our family went here once or twice a week on average. Now...rarely and after this last experience I won't be spending my time or money here. read more
