I completely realize COVID may be causing some struggles for businesses but I felt our whole experience was not due to that. We arrived and all of the outside tables were full. We went inside to ask the hostess for outdoor seating and she told us it's first come and we could sit outside and grab a table when it's open. We told her we would order a beer at the bar and wait outside. A table opened up while we were enjoying our beers and we went over to it before it was cleaned off because it was a beautiful day and we didn't want to lose it. It took 30 minutes and me going inside to ask the hostess for our table to be bused and for a waitress. While we were waiting for that I ordered another beer inside at the bar. Another 20 minutes outside and we finally get to order (after 2 tables who had been seated after us) and the bartender had to come take our order because I guess when you order from the bar you have to have the bartender take your order (who knew? Hostess didn't tell us that and we told her our plan). So after 50 minutes being there we finally got to order food. Ordered two steaks medium and they both came out well done with no pink at all. Loved the view and the hostess was sweet and did her best but the hassle was not worth the $ we spent. read more

I had a great time at Logan's last night! A walkin party of 6 I was surprised (as a hostess myself) to get a table within 30 minutes on a Saturday around 7! My server was great, always prompt with drinks, table clearing, and the check(she knew how to turn tables!!) My boyfriend's steak was first brought out well done ... Not what he ordered! It was tough and we had it sent back... His re-fire was served red in the middle... Sent back again! The re-fire was quick and the manager visited our table to let us know his dish had been comped. The third time is the charm :) I ordered the rum-soaked salmon and thought it was slightly over cooked. No one else at my table had any complaints. Additionally, their bathrooms were horrible! Stall 1 did not lock, stall 2 was out of order, stall 3 had an employee using the restroom(is there no employee bathroom? My restaurant has one and requires you use it!) stall 4... We'll... I wish I could give negative stars. I have worked in restaurants for over a while and I have never worked with hosts who are as clueless as the one who work at this location. Always getting food orders wrong. Even if it's a ranch. Store bought doesn't taste as good at restaurants. Cray right!!! So when I don't get it I'm a little sour. Logans reminded me off the Texas Roadhouse. Same decor, just not as lively. A friend of mine and I went for a steak and beer after work. We had no problem getting a table on a Tuesday night the place was half empty which based on the time and date I didn't think much of. We sat down ordered a couple beers and were luckily taken care of by the wait staff. We both ordered steaks mine was over cooked but still good, great flavor. We had to ask twice for our glasses of water. Based on the amount of people here I thought the overlooked steak and lack of customer care were due to the staff being already checked out for the evening. On March 30th, my niece requested that we have her birthday dinner at Logan's. So, 16 family and school friends met at Logan's. We were seated very quickly considering the size of our party and the fact it was a Friday evening. Our waiter was a very friendly and accommodating young man. After placing our orders, we had several mishaps: 2 burgers that were requested with no cheese, were served with cheese, then when returned they were cooked to almost burnt, dry and tasteless. Two skewers, 1 vegetable and 1 shrimp were forgotten and a bake potato was served with sour cream when it was expressly requested that none be added. Lastly, one of the sirloin dinners were asked to be well done, but was returned burnt, dry and tasteless, All in all irritating and definitely not the quality we paid for. In addition, almost half of our meals were served partially or fully cold. Waiting on meals and/or sides to be re-cooked was totally unacceptable. The quality of our meals were not indicative of what we have come to accept in way of service at Logan's. read more

Went there for dinner last night. Everything was fine until they brought my food out, the plate and food was covered in Cinnamon. It looked like someone dropped a container of cinnamon on the food and plate and they didn't care and just brought it out anyway. They replaced the fries and potato but the steak and plate was still covered in cinnamon. No offer to replace the steak. No credit for the meal. I probably should have just left. You could smell the cinnamon before you even saw the plate and the waiter acted surprised and said, you're not allergic to cinnamon are you? I guess I was just surprised that they would bring food out like that. I ended up eating the steak and I can officially say, steak covered in cinnamon is terrible. I won't ever be back. read more

After being seated by the manager our order was taken and 35 minutes later, no contact or food. I got up to find the manager and the server asked "was there a problem" we stated we are on our lunch hour and have waited 35 minutes and NO FOOD. I have been here several times and experienced the good and the bad. The Good: - Even if there is a wait, you will be seated fairly quickly - free peanuts and rolls - sides are consistently good - servers have always been on the ball - nice spread out layout - Dad got his meal comped without asking when they gave him a strip instead of a ribeye The Bad: - My friend was not comped anything when there was a hair cooked into her steak - the steaks are hit or miss, sometimes they are great, others they are cooked wrong or the meat is a little tough. I stick to smaller cuts like 8oz sirloin because they tend to come out better - sometimes it can take a while for your meal to come out Overall, I have had more good experiences than bad, and you get your money's worth I feel. If you are looking for a good strip or ribeye, go to Longhorn or Outback, for sirloin or grilled chicken this will do. read more

My husband and I are from Lexington NC. We came out tonight for a steak. We were seated immediately and our waiter was Pete. This dude was one of the very best. They ran out of the 12 oz Ribeyes but the manager Ms Sally came to the table apologies and offers a bigger steak for the same price. She came back to make sure everything was satisfaction and it was. We went there with family members from out of state over labor day weekend and let me tell you about the service...we ordered drinks non alcoholic and my drink came 15 min after everyone else had there drinks , said they had to brew the tea then brought it out with no ice , second on the food it took an hr and when food all came out except my daughters the waiter said they are having difficulties making her chicken tenders. .wtf..I went off how hard is it to make tenders and kids come first stupid ass. Oh and the ribeye I ordered was over cooked and paper thin what the hell is that..terrible and I will never go there again ..on top of all this our waiters knuckles on both hands where all skinned up ,what the hell is going on there and then they charge me $90 for shit read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. Food was diaguating, my medium rare steak came well done. I don't normally review places because I've worked in the restaurant industry for years and I understand when things go wrong. Everyone I was with hated their food as well. The server was fine, she kept forgetting things but I get it. She was completely drowning as she was so busy, but what pissed me off was that no staff was helping her with anything. I read the other previous reviews and I usually like to form my own opinion, so I came to find out for myself. I don't know why the overall rating at this time is 2.5 stars. It was a great experience for me and my wife. The only complaint is that the chicken on my salad was a bit dry and my wife's shrimp skewer was dry as well. However, overall, everything was fine and the flavor was great. Dinner rolls were awesome! Salmon was delightful. Shrimp and Corn Chowder was amazing! They still have the peanuts despide what another review says. And the patio area has been reconstructed and will be open this year. Don't trust all the reviews here. This place is great! read more

I was disappointed when the location in Sterling closed since it was the closest one to me. I happened to be heading into Manassas today to run some errands, so Husband and I went to the Logan's in Manassas. What a disappointment. I happened to walk in behind another couple. After helping that couple, the hostess proceeded to help the party behind me. I asked to be helped first since I was in line first. The hostess played dumb and said she thought I was with the party ahead of me. I'm thinking, "Well, duh. If I was with that party, don't you think I would have stepped away from the hostess station when they did?" Sigh. Our server (Andrew H) came by to take our orders. As soon as we asked for our drinks, Andrew walked away. I wanted to also place my appetizer at that time since the place was getting busy. Nope. That wasn't happening. He came back a few minutes later to take our appetizer and dinner order. When the food arrived, I asked for extra napkins. The server, not Andrew, said she'd let our server know. Husband ordered his steak medium, and it was closer to medium rare. His mashed potatoes were room temperature. Mine was medium well. It was tough and charred on the outside. Both of our orders of shrimp were dry as well. 15 minutes into the meal, Andrew finally stopped by to ask how our food was. We were almost done, so no point in complaining. I did ask for extra napkins, and he went to go get a couple with an exasperated sigh. The other servers around us were friendly, so I guess we got stuck with the one irritable server. 5/4/14 around noon - My husband and I decided to try it on our way home from a trip and was pleasantly surprised. We walked right up to the deck area and was seated immediately. All the staff greeted us with a smile.Sean was our server, he made great recommendations and the service was perfect. I got the steak and chicken, and my husband go the ribs and steak. The family next to us got out their Clorox wipes and wiped down their table. The food wasn't that great either. Two people had the surf and turf. They said the turf was dried out but the surf was good. Two people had the ribs. They said they tasted like they were made yesterday and microwaved. I had the nachos. She rolled her eyes talked about our table with me able to see her, and threw the plate down at the table. She would leave and not return for ever. Went to Logan's in December after not having been in at least a year. At one point a few years ago they were pretty decent, but there was a noted drop in food quality within the last 1.5-2yrs. We decided to give it another try and what a mistake. I understand they're more of a steakhouse, but they can't grill shrimp to save their lives. This is the second time I got shrimp that was over-cooked, charred and tasteless. Not to mention that I ordered the Southwest Grilled Shrimp Appetizer which says it comes with salsa. Well the salsa was actually pretty good, but I could hardly find it on the plate. There was literally only a tablespoon maybe two of salsa... I could hardly find it. They need to get a new cook or something because they are pretty horrible. read more

My first visit to Logan's was great! My family and friend went there for dinner and didn't even have to wait to be seated. I had the potato soup and it was pretty good. My friend had the ribs and they were fabulous. They came right off the bone. Yummy! My kids liked their chicken strips and my husband said his steak was better than other steaks he's had around here. Our waitress was fun and attentive to our needs the entire night. She even got the manager to give us a fee entree for our next visit. I would definitely go their again. read more

-1...so I went there last Saturday and the service was horrendous. We sat at a booth in the bar area and were quickly served our water. It took about 10 minutes to get our bread. I got my salad in a reasonable amount of time. We placed our order and it never came. We were lied to several times saying that our order (2 filet mignons and 1 full rack of ribs) was almost ready. After waiting about 45 minutes the manager came over to us and said the kitchen never for our order!!!! We got up and left. Awful, awful service. Will not be going there again. Every time I come here, there is a question of cleanliness. The bathrooms are not clean. The floors in the bathroom, and really the whole place, is slippery and dirty from the grease. All of the silverware that was given to my family was not clean. The menus were not clean. They had some sort of sauce and was grimy. The high chairs were dirty. The straps on the high chair were grimy. My stomach hurts almost every time I eat here. I live a few minutes away, and it's a photo finish to get back to the house in time. The only redeeming factor is that it is so close to my house, and my wife craves a steak. Other than that, I would not eat here. They really need to power wash the whole place. read more
