Went tonight for prime rib. Hubby ordered his rare, mine was ordered medium. Our drinks came well into our meal, dinner plates were served 2 minutes after the salad was served, so food was cold by the time I got to it, but that didn't matter as I could only get down 2 bites of my prime rib before I called it quits. I don't know why I even gave it a chance, should have just refused it. It looked like gray matter. Like a very well done roast. It was not edible. DON'T RISK IT!!! On September 22, 2022 I had the misfortune to dine at this location. The "meal" that I was served, and of which I consumed about half, almost killed me. Yes. Food poisoning. The shrimp with tartar sauce which I ordered, was accompanied by coleslaw. The coleslaw I was wary of at the beginning because of its limp, semi opaque appearance. I didn't touch it. The tartar sauce that I dipped the shrimp in, I'm pretty sure, is what got me. Within 15 minutes of leaving the restaurant I wasn't feeling well. We had been traveling and this meal was the only food I consumed that day. No doubts whatsoever about what caused my all night long restroom party. It was murder. It was Friday date night with my hubby and hardly anyone in the restaurant. It was around 8:00 p.m. We had a starter of mushrooms that were meh and took awhile to come. So we order our dinner...Prime Rib well done is the only piece left, so hubby gets shrimp trio with rice and mac n Cheese. I ordered Stacked Salmon with Mac n cheese, I had a side salad and looking so forward to our meal because we don't have an extra $100 to spend to go out to eat. We were given a $100 gift card. So our meals come and I was shocked at how not appetizing my meal looked. I did take a picture. My hubby's was a little better and he liked it. The mac n cheese was barely warm and taste worse than the boxed stuff. The waiter was kind and offered me another choice I chose Broccoli, hard to mess up broccoli. However this meal cost nearly $30 bucks just for mine. The Salmon was good but wait until you see the tiny shrimp stacked, more like laid. They need to rename this meal to, Laid bay shrimp and Salmon. The pic tell the real story. They say you eat with your eyes.....Not on this plate! One last thing, the cookie apple dessert is marginal at best, It taste like someone opened a can of apple pie filling and dumped it over the cookies and ice cream. Since we were near there we decided to try it again in spite of the poor reviews. 4 pm on a weekday and hardly anyone in there. We ordered the brisket and the pile of pulled pork. Waited over 45 minutes and no drinks. Another long wait and our food arrived-without our drinks The server indicated there was an issue with bar service When he set the food down, I wished we had heeded the advice of other reviewers The brisket dinner was just... sad 2 thin, small pieces of meat (literally the size of 2 strips of thick cut bacon!)that was grey, barely warm and mostly fat! Baked potato was room temperature and the Mac and cheese was a cold, solidified blob of starchy, yellow goo-also not even warm! It was obvious the meat had been microwaved as well as the Mac and cheese Server eventually stopped by to see how things were and I asked if I could get the Mac and cheese warmed up and a new, hot potato. I wasn't about to have the brisket further radiated so I kept it. The flavor was actually good it was just a poor quality brisket and past it's prime The new potato eventually arrived along with the re-re heated bowl of yellow goo. After breaking off a piece of the glob just to taste it, I found it had virtually no flavor. So after removing the big sections of fat from the brisket, ditching the yellow goo, I was left with about 1/4 cup of edible meat and a baked potato My husband will eat almost anything and hates to complain and never sends food back so he wasn't bothered by the room temperature pile of pulled pork, cold potato and flavorless coleslaw Hope the powers that be read the reviews and make adjustments to their food quality. Our server, Ricky Bobby, was very upbeat and happy. Knew the menu and offered good suggestions. My prime rib French dip was good and hubby liked his steak and baked potatoe. But DON'T get fries! They seemd like a cheap brand of crinkle cuts, barely warm and tasteless. At one time Logans served delicious sweet potato fries and they should bring them back! Our first visit and we were very happily surprised. We were greeted and seated immediately and our server delivered the bread and butter right away. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and the Ribeye Sandwich. Both were so delicious! The house made potato chips and the coleslaw were perfect sides. Well the rating you see is pretty accurate at least from my perspective. I'm in a hotel for 8 days and was looking for a close place at about 8 pm. Young lady at the front desk said Logan's has good food and they were open. So I didn't pay much attention to the Yelp reviews and tried it anyways. Had the chicken fried steak and it wasn't great. Had a great dinner with the family this evening! Our wonderful server was Ricky Bobby, and he provided amazing service, brought food out really fast, and kept our drinks filled at all times while being very friendly and inviting. He made great recommendations, I had the 16oz prime rib, and it was fantastic! The aujus was so full of flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection! If you like mushrooms, the fried mushrooms are the best I've ever had, also the potato skins are far above par, with the bacon and cheese, chives, sour cream, and such wonderful crispy skin while staying creamy on the inside, I'm definitely getting them with brisket and fried jalapenos next time as recommended by Ricky Bobby. First time here and if you want to come on a Tuesday night just stay home. Staff doing their best but there's only like 2 of them for the enitre bar and seating area. Food was cold considering its a slow night, baked potato cheese had hardened and didn't make it through the tough cut of NY strip before the temp made it just greasy. Disclaimer: before I wrote this review I did contact the manager, Kaveh, to air my experience with both the service and food. He graciously offered to help make things right on a future visit. To keep this short I will skip the complaint on the slow service we encountered and focus on the meal. My husband ordered the ribeye steak MEDIUM RARE. Twice he was served a WELL DONE steak which we returned, uneaten. The server told us when questioned why the meat wasn't coming to the table as ordered that the cook was having an off day. Huh? Unfortunately I didn't expect much when we went to the only place in town to have dine in service but at least I expected value. The fish dish I ordered was incredibly under portioned (yes I took a bite) and my wife's steak was undercooked. What should have been 25 minutes turned out to be a 40+ minute wait for our food. Employees who care are even harder to find. I suggest those who had a bad experience during the last 2 years to come revisit. I walked in and the hostess greeted me within 20 seconds. I was behind a large group. I said I would like to sit in the bar area and she escorted me around to find the seat I liked. She made me feel welcome. I'm sitting here in the restaurant right now trying how to politely say just how poor the service is here Food was ok to average, not bad just ok. Service was very slow. Waited quite a while longer than 10 minutes for a table. Once seated waitress started out fine but it's like our order wasn't put in. After a long wait got her attention and asked to speak with the manager. He gave a half hearted apology. Food came up, asked for extra napkins and ranch dressing for the onion rings. We never got either. Simply communicating with us about the delay is all we needed. The apology came with the bill. A little late. Situations like this can be diffused by letting the customer know what's happening. Ignoring us didn't fix anything. Sad, haven't had such a poor customer service experience for quite some time. We arrived and had to wait about 25 minutes for a table for 2 it was crowded even during SIP. We were very tired from hiking all day and had not ate anything all day so we were ready to grub. We finally were seated inside which I thought was a no no but they were seating people inside we had a little booth in the bar area the place was busy our waitress was slow to take our order but was in a hurry to get our order we were not able to get a clear answer on any questions we had on their drink specials or what was in their salads she just wanted to get away from our table and back to her friends at the bar. She ran off without even getting our full order. Awhile later we stopped another waitress and asked for our rolls and wanted to order an appetizer which we were not able to order when we first put in our order. The waitress said she would tell our waitress to stop By our table. Again takes a long time finally showed up and we asked for the rolls and she starting to run off but we had to stop her and tell her we wanted to order an appetizer. She was in to much of a rush to get to whatever she was doing with her friends. We should Have just left but we were very hungry The rolls finally arrived very soft and warm perfect butter melted on the roll right away ahh so good. Our drinks slowly started to arrive and we finally decided our appetizer and right as we started to eat them the food arrived. I ordered the tri tip sandwich which was very plain no flavor and my roll was dry no condiments on my French roll I was starving so I tried to just grin and bare it but I couldn't swallow it much to dry I was finally able to ask for barbecue sauce or something to put on my sandwich my husband ordered a steak he ate his entire meal so it must have been ok he did say it didn't have any flavor but he dealt with it also. All in all this was a one time stop and will probably not stop in again. We could have came on a bad night because it was a busy place and recommended by our hotel front desk staff.
