I only come here for their kimchi fried rice. I also order popcorn chicken with it, but for the 2nd time that I've ordered over the phone they would tell me it should be ready in 15 mins or so, no big deal. I finally get to their place only to be told that they actually don't have the ingredients for kimchi fried rice. Happened twice! It's not that hard to put me on hold and check if you actually have the ingredients first. The cashier seemed to be rushing us, and seemed irritated when answering our questions. I like asking for unsweetened drinks with boba, but it is hard to resist. Their Boba Milk Teas are mild, specifically not over-powerful sugar. They are basically cash only too. They accept debit too. The place feels like it could be a food truck instead of a cafe due to small size, cramped seating, and tall divider between the customers and kitchen. Someone once asked me if there is a food I never get tired of eating. I had to think about what that food was for a really long time but after giving it some deliberation I would have to say it is probably popcorn chicken and passion fruit green tea from Lollicup. Before you judge me, you would have to acknowledge that everyone has comfort food that is dear to them for nostalgic reasons and the popcorn chicken and passion fruit green tea at Lollicup happen to be mine. You see, I used to work at a Lollicup back in college and the cook in the store would make me all the popcorn chicken I wanted in exchange for drinks so I used to snack on it all the time. It was a laid back job and one I look back on with fond memories so I guess that's why I like it so much. I'm writing about a drink that I bought from your guys location. I went to the location exactly about a week ago. I love going to lollicup to get my favorite Thai tea with lychee jelly. (Which I always get) I ordered it to go since I had to go to work right after. I work at a retail store and I usually drink my drinks during working hours. As I was halfway done with my drink, I noticed a fly floating in it. I was disgusted and felt sick. I wanted to throw up. But I couldn't do anything about it because I was at work. I just wanted to let you guys know that I love your guys drinks but seeing this makes me not even want to go there at all. It just shows me how careless the workers are when it comes to checking the cleanliness of what you guys serve. They accept CASH ONLY!! I like to come here for my milk tea it's made fresh and it's delicious. It depends on who's making it some employees make it better than others. I LOVE lollicup's popcorn chicken. It's the most tender and juiciest popcorn chicken around the Cerritos area. I'm also a fan of their tornato fries. They have a handful of varieties for Smoothies, slushiest, teas, etc. They have a choice between mini Boba and large boba...I personally prefer the large but the mini Bob's is good as well! I was very disappointed with the coffee for the simple reason that they don't offer any soy or non fat milk nor do they offer any sugar free syrups. Ok, I guess this doesnt matter to the asian clientele since the person who brought me here is korean and said you will never find those options in an asian coffee shop. This place was pretty okay. They have some basic stuffs and nothing is really unique about this place. I do like their Royal Milk Tea and their Mini Boba which a lot of boba places doesn't have which was a bonus. The inside of the place was pretty small. Not a lot of places to sit down in if you decided to bring a group of friends. It's extremely difficult to form a line inside when there's not a lot of space. They also do FiveStar which was pretty good and a free large upgrade when you check in on Yelp. Overall, this place was pretty good and I would come back here just for the mini boba and etc. read more
