Game-day vibes & chill nights unlocked! Just visited this bar and I'm officially a fan Spacious + chill ambience Super friendly service Wide range of beers (tried Bronx + Samuel Adams = solid picks!) Delicious vegetarian options (the hummus = chef's kiss ) Perfect spot to catch a game -- with booths right by the bar so you can roll deep with your crew. Plus, Times Square is just a few minutes' walk away... talk about the ultimate NYC hangout bonus If you're looking for good vibes + good pours, this place has you covered. Who's down for the next round?

Tv screens to watch the game

The food was mediocre... I had fish and chips - decent sized piece of haddock but only one. Fries were bland. Hubby had a chicken sandwich. Thick breast but dry. Stopped in during World Cup so service was as expected.

This place was close to where we were staying so we decided to stop in. We were greeted by the hostess and seated promptly. We were served some ice cold water while we looked over the menu. One our first visit We ordered the loaded tots, mushroom ravioli, potato skins, fries, Mac and cheese plus drinks on draft. Second visit we did burgers, fries, loaded tots again, and nachos. The food was hot when it arrived to our table. It not only looks good but tasted awesome! You could definitely taste a lot of the fresh ingredients. We cleared out our plates that's how much we enjoyed it. The place itself is nice. It's dark so when we came out the sun light blinded us lol. Staff were great and vibes were on point. This is one place I would recommend to stop in at. Drinks are crisp and cold. Food is hot and extremely tasty. Do your taste buds a favor and stop in. I was not disappointed.

Long Acre Tavern really threw me for a pleasantly surprising loop. The tavern is lively and packed with a happy loudness. However, we were taken upstairs, which was a lot more quiet. If you're into sports, this is a good place to watch the game(s), because there are wall mounted televisions every few feet. The service was attentive, served our food at a comfortable pace, and every staff member was cordial. One of the reasons that I wanted to dine here was for the Sesame Cauliflower. This appetizer was crispy fried, with sesame sauce, ginger lemon yogurt, cayenne dust, and scallions. I really enjoyed the sweet and spicy mixture of the ingredients and I was right with my craving....it's a great starter and highly recommended. The other appetizer was the Hummus (house-made hummus, extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic glaze, Tajin chili dust, and pita bread). The hummus was a generous serving and was sufficient to accompany every pita bread slice. Another recommended starter. My entree was the Mushroom Ravioli. The serving was six ravioli, basil, with marinara sauce. Each forkful was so delicious and the sweet sauce made this an amazing selection. Here's another reason to choose Long Acre Tavern. If you have theater tickets, they will provide a 10% discount. It's a nice incentive and more restaurants should provide this discount. Thank you, Long Acre Tavern, for a pleasant meal, a 10% discount, and outstanding service.

Are there better bars with better food? Sure. But after a long day of roaming the city I found myself here. I was hungry and it didnt matter what I ate at this point. Decent food. New York prices. Pleasant service. Do with the info what you will.

The food was amazing, service was great and the location was perfect for the end of a long day visiting New York City for the first time! Thank you Peter!

This was the first place I came to during my New York trip and I loved it! It was a nice sized sports bar where we watched some of March Madness and got a great bite to eat. I got the Spicy Nashville Chicken and it was GREAT. My friends got the Salmon and the irish spice bag and said it was great!

I was looking for a sports bar to watch the Knicks game as I went to RiseNy first in times Square. They have various tvs there showing all kinds of sporting events happening. We sat right in front of a television where it felt very intimate and personal. There are two floors and we were asked to go to the second floor towards the back. It was very spacious. Food wise, I ordered the hummus and pita as an appetizer. It wasn't anything special. The grilled chicken on the Greek salad was good. Presentation wise, it was nice too. The service was great. Even though the waitress was at the front a lot, she didn't forget the back as well.

Great drinks and good ambience. It's a little pricey because it's right in the heart of times square.

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. Warm lighting, good energy, and a chill crowd make it an easy place to hang whether you're starting your night or winding it down. One of the best parts is the menu. It's super affordable for NYC, but still delivers on quality. Everything feels simple, satisfying, and done right. We ordered the burger and fries, wings and fries, plus a margarita and a mojito. The burger was juicy and filling, the wings were flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. The drinks were solid, refreshing, and exactly what you want at a spot like this. Location-wise, it's perfect. The Grizzly Pear is close to so many things, making it a great stop before or after exploring the neighborhood, catching up with friends, or heading to another spot nearby. The service really stood out too. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, The Grizzly Pear is a great go-to if you want good food, decent drinks, a cool atmosphere, and fair prices all in one spot. Definitely a place I'd come back to again.

They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
